The fame of the Brainstorm group begins with success at Eurovision 2000: Latvia took part in the song contest for the first time and immediately won 3rd place thanks to five guys singing in the genre of alternative indie music. Today, the members of the group can say that their cherished creative dreams have come true: the first lines of the charts, “golden” albums, full stadiums of spectators, world tours. But there are still many goals and new horizons ahead.

The young group set a course for high-quality European rock, inspired by the grunge style. The debut album “Vairāk nekā skaļi” was released in 1993. It did not bring much success; in fact, only one song became popular - “Ziema” (“Winter”). At this time, creativity is only a hobby for musicians: everyone had a job that allowed them to survive. Renars worked in radio, Janis and Maris worked in the judiciary, Kaspars worked as a cameraman. But they devoted their free time to their dream - they wrote songs, rehearsed, without losing faith in themselves.

The guys released their second album “Veronica” in 1996. This included the hits “Dārznieks” (“Gardener”), “Apelsīns” (“Orange”) and, of course, “Planes”.

After Eurovision, the guys from Brainstorm became stars. The performance of talented Latvians was noted by The Times, Melody Maker and Smash Hits. The guys had to change their names to those that are more familiar to foreign audiences: Renards became Reynard, Maris became Mike, Janis became Johnny, Kaspars became Nick, and Gundars became Peter.

The guys from Latvia began conquering the Russian audience in 2009 by releasing a new album “Step”, which included 6 songs in Russian.

Now in Russia almost every music lover knows the group “Brainstorm”.

He dreamed of being famous and studied at a music school, and also at a jazz school. At the end of the institution - a call from which the guy decided not to shy away. There the young man took part in amateur army performances - and became a soloist in a song and dance ensemble.

After the army, he entered MGUKI to become a stage director - there he went on tour as support for popular groups. At the age of 24, Leonid won a competition for young performers and recorded his first album - and now there are already 26 releases in his discography.

When students Vyacheslav Butusov and Dmitry Umetsky met in 1982, Nautilus Pompilius was born. Having decided to play together, the guys released their debut album called “Trains” in 1983. The composition of the Sverdlovsk band was constantly changing, among the latest members, in addition to the frontman, are I. Kormiltsev (lyricist, died in 2007), drummer A. Potapkin, bassist G. Kopylov, guitarist N. Petrov and keyboard player A. Mogilevsky.

The team itself broke up and reunited several times. One thing remained unchanged: an invaluable contribution to the culture of Russian rock. Their discography includes twelve long plays, six live albums, four collections, three dedication albums, and five collaborations with other musicians. Their songs were heard in both parts of the legendary “Brother”, the film “Hipsters”, “Mirror for a Hero” and others.

He studied at a music school and mastered the button accordion, and then participated in the Peasant Children group. He performed with him at various local festivals and gained some popularity, but then the guy went into the army. Having reached demobilization, he played in “Six Young People” together with N. Rastorguev, frontman. Then there were VIA “Leisya Song” and “Singing Hearts”. The idea arose to unite something more metal, where the singer would become a vocalist. As a result, his voice glorified “Aria” and made it legendary.

Due to disagreements between the participants, everyone did not have money, so Valery played with the Master group. The rest of the lineup thought that this was the end of his creativity in the team, so they continued their activities without him. The frontman recorded a record with Sergei Mavrin and began performing solo, creating a project that he named after his last name. Kipelov has seven studio long-plays, MTV Russia Music Awards, Chart's Dozen, Russian Top and many other prestigious awards to his credit.

They, like many others, tried to imitate The Beatles, but eventually grew into an independent, original group. The first line-up included Andrei Makarevich, who became the frontman, Mikhail Yashin, as well as girls - Nina and Larisa. The members of the group were fluent in a foreign language, so they performed in schools and clubs for young people.

Soon, something changed - in addition to the vocalist, Yu. Borzov, I. Mazaev, P. Rubin, A. Ivanov and S. Kawagoe played in VIA, and the name sounded in English, Time Machines. Thanks to such rare electric guitars and a mini-amplifier, a sound was born that almost no one in the USSR had.

After some time, in addition to the songs of the Fab Four, their own tracks appeared in the repertoire. The debut album was released - and at the moment there are thirteen of them in the team’s discography.

Time Machine has received many awards and prizes. Now the lineup, in addition to the same Makarevich, includes Alexander Kulikov on bass guitar and vocals, as well as Valery Efremov on drums.

The official year of their birth is considered to be 1978, but the members of the group themselves sometimes count back to 1981 - it was then that Edmund Shklyarsky joined the lineup. Or 1982, when the debut album was recorded. In general, it was during that period that Picnic appeared, which listeners loved so much.

Their lyrics and music attract romantic music lovers: it’s all about poems imbued with ironic philosophy and magical motifs. Or maybe keyboards, symphonic and exotic instruments, a unique style and live performances, each of which is a show that will not be forgotten for a long time.

Now in the group, in addition to the permanent frontman (and part-time guitarist and songwriter), his son is keyboardist and backing vocalist Stanislav, drummer Leonid Karnos and bassist Marat Korchemny. Their discography includes more than two dozen releases, tributes, several collections and collaborations. Picnic often performs in both capitals and regions, as well as at the largest open air events in Russia, including the “Invasion” festival.

They met in 1993, when they were both young, ambitious and dreaming of their own band. Sergei always wanted to be a musician, so he became a vocalist and frontman, a kind of face of the new band - he received all the attention.

Alexey never wanted to devote his life to creativity, but everything changed when he started working as a DJ. In the joint brainchild of the guys, he played the role of keyboard player.

Just a year later, they escaped from Tolyatti, which was cramped for them, and conquered the capital, and also suddenly met Andrei Malikov, who turned into their first producer. At the same time, the name appeared. Soon the debut album was released, which achieved resounding success. Until 2006, they released twelve studio works.

They decided to create solo projects, so “Hands Up” broke up. Now only Zhukov performs under this name, who presented a fresh long-play in 2012. The group has seven Golden Gramophones, RU.TV, MUZ-TV awards and a large number of other prestigious awards.

Vocalist and founder Sergei Chigrakov loved music since childhood: he went to music school, then entered college. Then he participated in several groups, the largest of which were “Extended Day Group” and “Different People”.

Soon he decided to go solo: after presenting the album, he took his friends with him on tour. The concerts were very successful - this is how Chizh and Co appeared. In 1994, the guys released their debut release.

The lineup now includes, in addition to the frontman, A. Romanyuk as a bassist, M. Rusin as a guitarist, E. Barinov as an accordionist and percussionist, D. Vasilevsky on drums, as well as D. Chigrakova and M. Shalageva on backing vocals. Their discography includes seven studio long plays, three concert recordings, five joint releases and two collections.

The Concord Orchestra is the world's first dancing symphony orchestra. Professional musicians, students of famous conservatories, famous music academies of Russia and Europe, created a unique project, combining music and dance into a single space.

The orchestra performs under the direction of the Italian conductor Fabio Pirola, a representative of one of the most famous musical dynasties in Milan. Fabio brilliantly graduated from the State Conservatory of Gaetano Donizetti in Bergamo (Italy), the International Academy of Music of Claudio Abbado in Milan (Italy) and the Juilliard in New York (USA).

Concerts of the Concord Orchestra symphony orchestra are filled with passionate Italian temperament and emotionality. In 2016, Fabio led a team of gifted, creative, open to experimentation, seeking new forms of creative self-realization, highly professional Russian and European musicians of the Concord Orchestra symphony orchestra.

Musicians play the music that inspires them. While dancing, they improvise, the sounds of music turn into plastic patterns, and symphony concerts become bright, original shows. Masterly performance gives a new sound to masterpieces of classical music, folk rock, rock hits, and music from popular films.

Over the course of three years, the orchestra released three of its own original programs (“Symphonic Rock Hits”, “Snow White Ball of Johann Strauss”, “Tango of Passion by Astor Piazzolla”), gave more than 300 concerts at iconic music venues in Russia, including 15 concerts in Moscow at stage of the State Kremlin Palace. The “stars” of rock music, famous chansonniers, and famous opera singers performed together with the orchestra. Among them are Francis Goya and Riccardo Fogli. In March 2018, joint concerts were held at the main venues in Russia with the legend of world cinema music, the French composer Michel Legrand, and in April 2018 - with the British musician Ken Hensley, songwriter of the group URIAH HEEP.

The name LYUBE appeared from the vocalist’s native city of Lyubertsy, near Moscow, and the Ukrainian term “Lyube”, which translates as “everyone” - this denoted a mixture of genres. The first tour took place in 1989 with empty halls, since no one knew about them yet. But the situation soon improved - they instantly became famous after performing at Alla Pugacheva’s “Christmas Meetings”. By the way, it was she who came up with the singer’s stage image.

Now in the group, in addition to the frontman, there are seven more people: V. Loktev on keys and button accordion, A. Erokhin on drums, guitarist S. Pereguda, bassist D. Streltsov, and also backing vocals: P. Suchkov, A. Kantura and A. Tarasov.

The future People's Artist of Russia was born into the family of the head of the VIA "Gems" and a ballet soloist. But he did not strive for music - when a teacher came to the apartment to teach him, the boy ran away. Later, the guy mastered the piano so well that he was absolutely fluent in it. Already at fourteen he wrote his first song.

After eighth grade, the young man went to school and played keyboards in his father’s band. Soon he made his debut on television, topped the charts, participated in the “New Year's Light” and received the title “Discovery of the Year.”

After graduating from college, he entered the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, became a guest at the Polish festival and collected the “Olympic”. He received a diploma with honors and presented his original project PIANOMANIYA. He has seventeen studio works to his credit.

The idol of the nineties recently reappeared in trends - he declared himself the “emperor of Twitter”, trolled, released a video with the scandalous blogger Khovansky and went to the shooting of Yuri Dudu.

In the first case, there are 1055 mezzanine seats and almost 3000 balcony seats. The middle stage no longer involves a balcony, only the mezzanine remains. The small stage is the stalls, the amphitheater and the mezzanine boxes. In fact, this is a “chamber” version, when there are only places closest to the stage.

Directly in front of the stage are the GRAND Parterre and VIP Parterre. But at the request of the organizers, privileged seats are occupied by the fan zone, or dance floor for 1,700 seats. It turns out that the Crocus City concert hall has 6 different configurations.

The best places in Crocus City Hall

From any seat you can clearly see the stage, and this is the most important thing for the audience. The mezzanine and balconies in Crocus City are closer to the stage than in traditional halls. History of Crocus City Hall and description

The founder of the concert hall in Krasnogorsk is Araz Agalarov is a Russian and Azerbaijani businessman who, according to Forbes, is one of the hundred richest people in the world. The founding date is October 25, 2009. The room was built in honor of Muslim Magomayev, which is why twice a year a vocal competition dedicated to this singer is held here.

10 years ago one might have thought that in Moscow, apart from the existing Olympic and Grand Kremlin Palaces, other concert halls were not needed, especially outside the Moscow Ring Road. After all, this location is inconvenient for many residents of the capital and those who come to stay in the largest Russian city.

However, Crocus City Hall has gained enormous popularity in a short period of time. Here you can often watch performances by both Russian show business representatives and world famous stars, for example, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Sting.

Almost $100 million was spent on construction.

More than 2 million people come here every year, and events take place almost every day. The annual turnover of the concert hall is about 30 million dollars. Each concert held here is a show of the highest level, with a large number of special effects and high-quality sound.

Crocus City Hall has an important feature - a smart hall layout and a well-thought-out concert venue from an engineering point of view.

High-class professionals, whose faces are always in the shadows, work hard to create each special effect:

  1. The interior design was carried out by world-famous specialists. All materials used for this perfectly absorb sound, so no extraneous noise distracts the listeners sitting in the audience. They focus solely on what is happening on stage, and thanks to the ceiling, which has a wave-like shape, the sound is refracted correctly.
  2. The floor in the hall is made of marble and this also contributes to the creation of proper acoustics.
  3. Araz Agalarov himself was involved in the creation of every element of the concert hall’s interior. To eliminate unnecessary sound that could distract viewers, he even determined the speed of air movement through the ducts.

Appearance, architecture

The building itself, in which the concert hall is located, is designed in high-tech style. It is one of the components of a huge trade and exhibition center called Crocus City. In total, this center occupies an area of 90 hectares.

Overview of the trade and exhibition center, which includes a concert hall:

For many guests, the path to the hall begins with the parking lot, since they often come here by personal vehicle, so one of the main engineering measures during creation is the organization of a drainage system. For such a grandiose project, this system was made of Standert100 plastic., provided by HydroGroup.

Interior

Once in the concert hall, the viewer is immediately amazed by its scale. The orchestra pit alone covers an area of more than 70 square meters. m. The stage itself, on which all events take place, is about 10 times larger. The total area of the entire room, including not only the orchestra pit with the stage, but also the entire auditorium, is 4,500 square meters. m.

One of the main features of the hall is the ability to transform from large to small and vice versa. The stalls can be used both for dancing and for arranging tables.

Premises in Crocus City Hall

Crocus City is a seven-story building. It is part of Exhibition Pavilion No. 3. On each floor there are offices and technical premises, as well as meeting rooms, lounges, catering establishments and other additional premises.

The premises in the hall are zoned.

Each zone has its own purpose, these are:

  • scene;
  • latrines;
  • dressing room.

Thanks to the well-thought-out arrangement of spectator seats, even from the farthest rows you can clearly see everything that is happening on stage. There are also seats designed for spectators with disabilities.

Special ascents and descents are also equipped for them.
