Each team lines up. The team captain will “tightly connect” his team, captains are given a rope. When the whistle blows, each of them begins to “thread” each participant with a rope through a suitable part of clothing - a strap, a shoulder strap, through a sleeve and collar, etc. The fastest one wins.

Props: long rope – 2 pcs.

Competition for children for the New Year “Let’s decorate the Christmas tree”

Presenter: Guys, Santa Claus is already on his way, racing on reindeer, because he loves giving out gifts so much. But before his arrival we need to have time to dress up the Christmas tree. Let's see which team is more agile and can prepare for the holiday faster.

For two teams, two artificial Christmas trees are placed on 2 stools. Near each Christmas tree there is a bucket containing Christmas tree decorations. On command, the guys from each team begin to decorate the Christmas tree. Each participant decorates the Christmas tree with one toy and quickly returns to the team, passing the baton. The team that decorates the Christmas tree the fastest wins.

Competition "Let's make a Snowman and collect Snowflakes"

Presenter: Guys, we need to sculpt a Snowman and collect Snowflakes in his headdress (bucket on his head) so that as much snow as possible will fall on New Year's Eve. And the more snow falls, the more Magic there will be in the new year. Each team begins to mentally sculpt a Snowman: children mentally roll snowballs, make all kinds of passes with their hands, imitating the process of sculpting a Snowman. Time for modeling – up to 5 minutes. Then everyone turns away, the Captains of 2 teams will use the Magic Wand to “humanize” the Snowmen. 2 boys are brought out, identically dressed as Snowmen, in white loose clothes, to which mittens are attached. There are New Year's hats on their heads, and everyone has a bucket in their hands. The children are shown what cute little Snowmen they have made. Each child in the team is given 2 snowballs “Snowball” (a large lump of cotton wool, it can be sewn with white thread for density). Children take turns, each team approaches their own Snowman, who offers them a bucket, and each child takes turns throwing 2 snowballs. The relay participants go one after another, and the Snowman helps catch Snowflakes with a bucket. The team with the most snowflakes in the bucket wins.

New Year's competition for children “Drawing a Goat – 2015”

2015 is the year of the Goat. 2 teams draw a Goat blindfolded. A sheet of whatman paper is attached to the wall, they draw: 1 participant draws the torso, 2 - the head, 3 - legs, 4 - tail, 5 - horns, 6 - beard. For the next 6 participants - a new sheet. The participant is given a felt-tip pen and blindfolded; he draws “blindly.” The winner is the team whose drawings produce the most successful Goat. The teams can be divided into subteams, then the best one is selected from all the drawings.

This competition can be modified. 2 or more (4, 6) Whatman papers are attached (depending on the number of groups of participants), on which the muzzle and torso are already drawn. Need to attach: horns, beard, legs, tail. Legs and horns are additionally made from cardboard, a beard from wool, a tail from rope, attaching these objects with plasticine to whatman paper.

2 options win: “The most natural goat” and “The funniest goat”

Captains' competition "Who is stronger"

They draw a line. Team captains go to the line and grab each other by the belt. The winner is the one who wins the “enemy” to his side. You can make a general competition, when all players compete in pairs, the team with more winners wins.

Children's New Year's competition "To victory on the children's potty"

Presenter: Guys, you know that Santa Claus congratulates only children; he can also congratulate adults, but not so willingly. Are you really still kids? Small ones? Now we will check it...

Each team is given a plastic pot with a handle, and each participant, holding the handle and sitting on the pot, must jump the distance to the finish line (indicated by a stool) and back as quickly as possible, passing the pot to another. This competition can only be done for boys.

Props: plastic pot – 2 pcs., stool – 2 pcs.

Competition for children for the New Year “Who can drink a cocktail the fastest”

Presenter: Indeed, boys, you are still children. What about the girls? We'll check this now.

The competition is held between team captains. Each receives a plastic bottle with a nipple into which a milkshake or juice is poured, and the Captains drink from the nipple at speed.

Competition "Who can wind the rope faster"

Take a rope, tie a knot in its center and take 2 sticks, tying them to the ends of the rope in the middle. You need to twist the stick and wind the rope around it. The one who reaches the middle (node) first wins. Players take turns participating in the competition. The team with the most winners wins.

Props: 5 m rope, two sticks.

New Year's competition for children "Funny Cows"

Presenter: Guys, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden need to prepare a refreshing drink, because they are coming to us from Lapland itself. I'll even tell you a secret what they like. It turned out that they only drink melted ice and white drinks, especially milk, but only cold. Therefore, we now need to immediately find a cow. Don't believe we'll find it? Now see for yourself how many cows we have.

A medical glove is taken, inflated (the stronger, the more interesting) using a pump - the cow's udder is ready, it is tied to a rope. 2 members of each team run “for four” with an udder tied to the finish line (stool), near which you need to moo loudly and run back, after which the next participants run, to which the udder is quickly tied. The team whose members arrive first wins.

Props: Medical gloves – 2 pcs., rope – 2 pcs., stool – 2 pcs.

Presenter: That's good, guys, our cows moo loudly and are generous with milk, we can treat guests from Lapland.

Competition "Dance-sketch of fairy-tale characters"

Children take apart the balloons, and they must burst them, because each balloon is “encrypted” for each child. It contains that fairy tale character whose character and habits will be portrayed by the child who received this ball. But to do this, the ball needs to be crushed somehow. Someone will do this with their foot, someone will burst it with a toothpick, or you can hug the 2nd or 3rd children, and the balloon is inside them, press on the balloon and try to burst it using the pressure of their bodies.

So, the children take out notes with the name of the character and a brief description of his character.

Each team is given 10 minutes to rehearse, and then the children perform their skit to the music. You can interact with each other, you can simply show your hero and his character with movements. The movements are performed silently. The team whose skit is more successful wins.

Pinocchio is the main character - a mischievous boy with a long nose. Wears a striped cap and shorts.

Papa Carlo is Pinocchio's father, an old man who made Pinocchio out of a log and now can't get enough of him.

Props: radio tape recorder - music (songs from the film “Golden Key”), balloons into which a note (a small long strip of paper) is inserted before inflating; 2 teams are given balloons with a set of characters according to the number of people. If there are not enough characters, you can add trees and objects, for example, a Primer or a Tree growing in the Field of Miracles in the Land of Fools.

Children's New Year's competition "Who can crumple up the newspaper faster"

Competition "Roll the Ball"

The children of each team are divided into pairs, preferably a boy and a girl. Each team has a ball at its disposal. Each pair stands next to each other at the first line - Start. The girl stands with her back to the boy, he lifts her up, takes her by the elbows, and she stands with her feet on the ball and begins, spinning it with her feet, to roll to the finish line, which is drawn in advance or glued with adhesive tape. The first couple to reach the Finish line wins. Then the second pair is launched. The team with the most winning pairs wins.

Props: ball

New Year's competition for children “Gluttonous Dragon”

Presenter: Guys, what should we do, we are waiting for Santa Claus, and in our area lives a terrible Monster - a fire-breathing Dragon. The hot flames that fly out of his mouth can ruin our holiday. What should we do, tell the children?... That's right, the Beast needs to be fed, then the satisfied Dragon will fall asleep with his belly up.

The chair is turned upside down, and a plastic bag is put on the protruding legs, which will imitate the huge mouth of a dragon. A lot of soft small toys are placed next to the children (you can put balls and balls instead). Participants must throw as many toys into their mouths as possible in a few minutes (the time is selected depending on the number of children and toys). A bag that imitates a mouth can be pre-painted with bright colors. The team that feeds the Beast the best wins.

Competition for children for the New Year “Find a Snowflake”

Presenter - Guys, do you know what the evil Troll did? He hid the Snowflake “WHERE IT’S HOT” so that it would melt and we would be left without snow on New Year’s Day. But New Year's Magic always comes with snow. It is necessary to save Snowflake so that she does not have time to melt - and then there will be snow.

Children are given 5-7 minutes to discuss, and then they look for Snowflake, they must guess that it is behind the battery. The winner is the team whose members find the Snowflake.

Props: large Snowflake (cardboard).

New Year's game “Warm me up, Sunshine”

2 children are selected: “Frost” and “Sunny”. Morozko is trying to freeze as many children as possible and warm Sunny. Children touched by Morozko remain in the position in which Frost caught them and “frozen” them. And the Sun tries to unfreeze everyone, touching him with his hand, he unfreezes the children, they start running again. After a few minutes the drivers are changed.

DIY New Year's collage

Each child is given a piece of cardboard and glue on which he must make a New Year's picture. Next to the children are placed colored pencils (you can do without them) and a bucket with various small things, which are cut into pieces: rain, New Year's garlands, candy from a firecracker, branches of a Christmas tree, pine, paper clips, satin ribbons, buttons, bright fabric, etc. Each child You are allowed to use a mug to scoop material for a collage from a common bucket 2 times. The task is given from 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Then all the works are attached to whatman paper. If this is a competition, then there are 2 Whatman papers and the best team wins, if it is a general collage, then there is only one Whatman Paper, on which all the works are attached.

"Live Quest" task

Presenter: So, children, you need to say the Magic words in chorus so that “Real Magic” will happen for us on New Year’s Day. At this moment you will think of your “Greatest Wish”. Wishes have always been made on New Year's Eve. Now let's find out what these Magic words are that we all need to say together. Inhale, exhale, do you feel filled with Magic? And now - let's get down to business.

Each child (or several children who will guess one letter) is given a piece of paper with a riddle in which they need to guess the letter (riddles from the Internet). There are letters on the table, and on the back of the sheet with the letter, its serial number in the sentence “Under the magical chiming of the clock, the New Year has come with goodness.” A child (or several children), having guessed their letter, finds it on the table. Children need to guess to arrange the letters in accordance with the serial number and get a “magic” sentence:

THE MAGICAL BATTLE OF THE HOUR THE NEW YEAR HAS COME TO US ALL

If there are few children, then the phrase can be shortened. Some letters will be repeated, that is, some children will guess one letter, but their serial numbers will be different.

Options for holding a New Year's children's party with competitions

The last 3 competitions in our proposed scenario are assumed to be 3 common final games for all children. It is understood that the results of the competition of 2 teams are summed up before them and the winning team is announced, and then there are 3 general competitions.

If you want to make all games competitive, you can do this:

  • The competition, where there is general creative work on creating a collage, should be made work for each team, i.e. each team is given the task of making their own New Year's collage, and then the jury determines the winner. You can have each child make a collage on a separate piece of paper, and then glue all the pieces of paper onto a common stand for each team.
  • And do the last competition like this. Give this task separately for each team, i.e. find the Magic Words for the Magic Wand. Each team has a set of letters from this phrase on its table. The team that completes these letters the fastest will win. (i.e. divide the overall work into work in teams).
  • As for the game about Sunny and Frost, it can be replaced with the competition “Find your pair, little glove.” Children bring their own gloves and each team puts these gloves in their bag. The presenter gives each child 2 different gloves (any). When gloves for 2 teams are distributed, the task sounds: “Find your pair and join hands!” The winner is the team that is the first to create its “Pair of Gloves” circle.

What Magic will the Magic Wand do?

Presenter: Someone won today, someone lost, yes, this happens in life. The main thing here is that you and I did everything so well: all our competitions turned out wonderful, you are all so cheerful and talented. We didn’t let the Snowflake melt and now it’s going to snow, most likely the real Blizzard Lady will come to us for the holiday, we fed the fire-breathing Dragon, so you don’t have to worry that the fragile Snow Maiden will melt, we made a Winter collage with our own hands, and found the key phrase for our New Year's holiday.

Children are given a piece of cotton wool, they must tear it into pieces and create a Blizzard. Fallen pieces of cotton wool can be collected and thrown up again. It is possible for a woman to come, personifying the Lady Blizzard.

Presenter: And now, children, the most important point: I am holding in my hands the Magic Wand, which you imbued with Magic, passing it along the relay race. Now we will say the Magic Words, wave the Magic Wand, and... create Magic. And the New Year will bring us joy, happiness and... fulfill the innermost desire of every child present here. Five minutes for you to think of a wish, and now, pay attention, we all say in chorus the words that you guessed: “Under the magical chiming of the clock, the New Year has come to us all,” I wave my Wand, and everyone clearly pronounces their wish to themselves! (snow can be made after this point)

MUSICAL GAME

(to the tune of the song “Good Beetle” from the fairy tale film “Cinderella”)
1.

Stand up, children, stand in a circle,

Stand in a circle, stand in a circle!

Clap your hands

Without sparing your hands!

Jump like bunnies -

Jump and jump, jump and jump!

Now stomp

Without sparing your legs!

Let's join hands

Hurry up, have fun

And let's raise our hands up

Let's jump higher than everyone else!

We'll put our hands down

Let's stamp our right foot,

We stamp our left foot

And let's shake our heads!

The game is repeated 2 more times.

A GAME "GET TO THE TREE"

The host puts a prize under the tree.

2 child players stand on different sides at a certain distance from the tree.

Cheerful music sounds.

Participants in the game, jumping on one leg, try to get to the tree and take the prize.

The most agile one wins.

GAME "SNOWFLAKES"

Paper snowflakes are attached to horizontally suspended long tinsel.

Blindfolded players remove snowflakes from tinsel to cheerful music.

The one who has the most of them wins.

GAME “DECORATE THE TREE”

Children form 2 teams.

Near each team, the leader places a box with unbreakable Christmas tree decorations.

At a distance from the teams there is a small decorated artificial Christmas tree.

The first players take one toy from the box, run to their team’s Christmas tree, hang the toy and return - and so on until the last player.

The first team to decorate the Christmas tree wins.

A GAME "GIFT AUCTION"

(Santa Claus puts a large elegant satin bag

in the middle of the hall.)

Father Frost:

Here is a bag - it’s elegant!

Let's hold an auction!

Who is actively responsible?

He gets that gift!

(The satin bag contains 7 shaped paper bags of different colors.

The bags are placed one inside the other from large - 80 cm high to small - 50 cm high (like a nesting doll), and tied with bright bows.

Each bag has one large letter marked on it, spelling out the word “gifts.”

During the game, Santa Claus unties the bow and takes the bag out of the bag, holds an auction for each letter and gives a gift to the child who gave his answer last - gifts begin with the corresponding letters.

At the beginning of the game, Santa Claus lowers a satin bag to the floor and a paper bag with the letter “P” appears in front of the children.)

Father Frost:

The letter “Pe” asks everyone to name Winter songs now!

If you want to sing, sing

After all, it’s time for fun! (Children name songs about winter.)

Father Frost:

It's a good winter with snow.

But the song is also good!

I give you the gingerbread

Eat it slowly!

(Santa Claus unties the bag, takes out a gingerbread, hands it over,

then he takes out another one from this bag - with the letter “O”;

The previous bag is placed on the other side of itself, so the winning bags will be placed side by side and at the end of the game the children will read the letters from all the bags into a single word “gifts.”)

Father Frost:

The letter "O" notifies -

Festive dinner served

And he invites friends to the table!

What’s not on the table!

What will you treat your friends to?

Name the treats!

(Children list holiday treats.)

Father Frost:

You're a scientist for a treat,

The prize is a gilded nut!

(Santa Claus unties the bag, takes out a walnut in gilded foil, and then a bag with the letter “D.”)

Father Frost:

Letter "D" trees remember

He really asks for you, kids!

Dressed them up in silver

I have frosted more than once!

(Children say the names of the trees.)

Father Frost:

You are an exemplary student

I'll give you a diary!

(Santa Claus unties the bag,

hands over the diary and takes out a bag with the letter “A”.)

Father Frost:

The letter "A" is about an orange

He wants to ask the kids!

Come on, tell Grandpa,

What kind of person can he be?

(Children describe the appearance and taste of an orange.)

Father Frost:

How beautiful is the Christmas tree?

Her outfit attracts the eye!

Orange for health

I am very happy to give!

(Santa Claus hands over an orange and takes out a bag with the letter “R”.)

Father Frost:

The letter “eR” brings joy to everyone:

Let everyone remember

That the joy of the mood

Delivers, without a doubt!

(Children remember everything that makes them happy.)

Father Frost:

All the masks were good

Okay, you know the fairy tales!

I remember this one

Get some candy!

(Santa Claus hands over candy and takes out a bag with the letter “I”.)

The letter “I” wants to be heard

Games for winter snowy days!

You guys know them,

Speak quickly!

(Children list winter games.)

Father Frost:

These winter fun

I must admit, I like it!

I want to give a toy -

There is nothing more!

(Santa Claus unties the last bag, takes out a Christmas tree toy from it, hands it over, then turns the bag upside down and shakes it,

thus showing that it is empty.)

Father Frost:

My bag is empty and light -

Our auction is over!

I gave away my gifts

It's time to have a carnival!

A GAME "BECAUSE IT'S NEW YEAR!"

The children answer the host’s questions in unison with the phrase:

At the moment of impact, the ball ends up in the pocket.

The most dexterous ones remove a red bag with a surprise from the main New Year tree.

GAME "Naughty Girls"

All children are located around the hall, 4 people in a circle.

Cheerful music is playing and the players are dancing.

As soon as the music stops, the presenter announces:“Puffs!”

(children puff)

At the end of the music the presenter announces:"Squeakers!"

Accompanied by cheerful music, the first players take a ball from the box and roll it from their place, trying to get into the goal, after which they take a place at the end of the team.

The second participants enter the game, etc.

The team with the most balls in the goal wins.

A GAME “WELL DONE, HAMMER, MILK”

“well done”, “hammer”,"milk"

after which, players perform the following movements: -

"Well done" - jump in place 1 time;

"hammer" - clap their hands once;

“milk” - they say “meow”.

The presenter stretches out the first syllables of words to confuse the participants in the game (“mo-lo-o-dets”).

The game changes from a slow pace to a fast pace. The inattentive remain in their playing places,

and performing movements in accordance with the words

take a step forward without error.

Thus, the winners are the participants of the game,

those who reached the leader faster than others.

To the accompaniment of cheerful music, the captains go around the Christmas trees and, in the same way, return to their team, passing the scooter to the next participant. The team that manages not to run over the Christmas trees wins.

GAME "CAT AND MOUSE"

Three players are put on cat hats and given a stick to which a long rope is attached.

A fake mouse is tied to the end of the rope.

“Hello, hello, New Year!”

Christmas tree in festive attire,

We are all happy about her today...
Santa Claus, seeing the children,

He takes out a bag of candy...
Nobody wants to sing songs

Their words are barely muttered...

I was very sad on holiday...
Let's dance around the Christmas tree

In this glorious hall of ours...
Let's shoot with a slingshot

And we'll knock out the balls...
Let's make a colored flashlight

A gift for our Christmas tree...
Tell a poem

Everyone is ready with the mood...

whose four balls are marked by letter: “E”, “L”, “K”, “A”.

Then they ask riddles.

During the guessing process, the upper part of the ball with the letter is removed and a ball with a picture of the answer to the given letter appears to everyone’s attention.

Presenter:

He puffs like a locomotive

He brings a cart on himself.

From neighbors and passers-by

He can defend himself.

(Children say variants of the riddles.)

I wished for candy!

Come closer to me,

Take your prize quickly!

Leading:

Like the sun is shining,

It's always juicy

Round and ball-like

He just didn’t take off at a gallop.

(Children announce their guesses.)

Presenter:

Here's the answer to the riddle!

I don’t mind giving you the prize!

You guessed the orange -

The whole room heard it!

"CHRISTMAS TOY"

In front of the two players, the presenter places a prize on a chair, wrapped in bright wrapping paper, and says the following text:

At New Year's hour, friends,

You can't go without attention!

Number "three" don't miss it -

Take the prize, don't yawn!

“The Christmas tree greeted guests.

Five the children came first,

So as not to be bored on holiday,

Two snowflakes, six firecrackers,

Eight gnomes and parsleys,

Seven gilded nuts

Among the twisted tinsel;

Ten counted the cones,

Three little girls came running..."

If the players missed the prize, the presenter takes it and says:

“Where were your ears?”;

if one of the players turns out to be more attentive,

then the presenter concludes: “These are attentive ears!”

GAME SONG “WE DON’T BE BORED AT THE TREE”

(to the tune of the song “There is nothing better in the world...”

from the film “The Bremen Town Musicians”)

1. Presenter:

There is nothing better in the world,

What a fun time this winter is!

And we don’t get bored at our Christmas tree!

Children:

And we don’t get bored at our Christmas tree!

holding each other by the raised right hands, they spin to the right; at the end of the play they stop and clap their hands to the beat of the music.)

4. Presenter:

Let the white snowflakes swirl;

Let the lilies be strong friends with each other!

We celebrate the New Year together

And we don’t get bored at our Christmas tree!

Children:

(During a loss, children form pairs with those standing next to them and,

holding each other by their raised left hands, they spin to the left;

at the end of the play they stop and clap their hands to the beat of the music.)

A GAME "NEW YEAR'S SHIFTS"

Santa Claus says phrases, and children must answer in chorus

"Yes or no" regardless of the rhyme.

You, friends, have come here,

To have fun?..
Tell me a secret:

Were you waiting for Grandfather?..
You are frosty, cold

Will they be able to scare?..
You are at the Christmas tree sometimes

Are you ready to dance?..
Holidays are nonsense

Let's get bored better?..
Santa Claus brought sweets,

Will you eat them?..
You are always with the Snow Maiden

Are you ready to play?..
Let's push it apart without difficulty

Everyone around?

Certainly...
Grandfather never melts -

Do you believe this?..
Sing a verse at the Christmas tree

Do you need a round dance?..

What fun New Year would be complete without competitions, relay races and other entertainment programs? These games will help you entertain your little guests and tell you what to prepare for this. It will be more interesting if you prepare small souvenirs in advance for those who win. This could be any office supplies: pencils, erasers, pens, balloons, notebooks.

Maybe something edible: candy, waffles (packaged), lollipops, chewing gum, etc.

FUN RELAY

This is a very fun and active game. It should not be done immediately after eating. To conduct this relay race, you will need two chairs (or stools), two ropes on pegs, two buckets, two balls.

Participants are divided into two teams. At the command of the leader, players must complete the following tasks: jump over a rope, run around a chair, throw a ball into a bucket (preferably hit it). The team that performs all the listed actions faster and more accurately wins.

WHO WILL COLLECT THE MOST SNOWFLAKES?

To start this competition, you need to organize a mini-competition for cutting out paper “snowflakes”. To do this, you need to give the children colored and (or) shiny paper of a size suitable for the size of the future “snowflakes”, give them scissors in their hands, and also ask them to use all their imagination and skill and make paper “snowflakes”.

After these small works of art are ready, you can proceed to the competition itself.

“Snowflakes” spill out onto the floor. At the leader’s command (this could be ringing a bell, clapping hands, or the words: “One, two, three, start!”), the children begin to collect “snowflakes.” At the same time, you need to make sure that they collect “snowflakes” not in handfuls, but individually. The game ends when the host rings the bell again (or gives some other command). At the same time, all participants stop, and everyone who can count counts their “trophy”. If the participant does not yet know how to count, then the presenter helps him in this difficult task. The one with the most snowflakes wins.

ACCURATE SHOOTER

This competition develops accuracy and attentiveness in children. For this, you need to prepare “snowballs” in advance (3 “snowballs” per child) from a ball of cotton wool and wrap them in shiny, multi-colored “rain.” But if you haven’t had time to prepare, then you can entrust it to little craftsmen to do it. And as a prize you can give them the same “snowballs” that they make with their own hands. But before you hand out the snowballs, organize a competition.

Divide the participants into two teams. Each player must be given snowballs. Children take turns throwing snowballs into a hoop or basket, which must be prepared in advance and placed on the floor. The team with the most snowballs in the hoop will win.

MEMORIES OF SUMMER

This competition develops children's reaction speed and attentiveness. To hold it, you need to prepare multi-colored “daisies” in advance (according to the number of participants). Each petal of the future “daisy” should be cut out of colored paper the size of a landscape sheet. You also need to cut out a round center that is the size of the “daisy”.

Chamomile petals are laid out on the floor (mixed, colored side up). Participants stand near their “centers”. At the leader's command, they begin to collect daisies. The winner will be the player who collects his daisy first and most correctly.

CORRECT SNOWMAN

To conduct this competition, you need to prepare large sheets of blank paper in advance. The size of the sheet will depend on the size of the snowman you want to see. You can take a sheet of A1 format (Whatman paper). The amount of paper and markers (or markers) will depend on the number of participants.

The players are blindfolded (a neckerchief or scarf is suitable for this purpose) and given a felt-tip pen. Each participant begins to draw a snowman. The winner will be the one whose drawing is the most accurate (or more suitable for the image of a snowman).

This competition can be made as a team competition. Each team has three players. In this case, each participant will draw his own snowman circle. The team that completed the task better will win.

BALL BASKETBALL

For this game, you will need to inflate two balloons in advance, prepare two baskets in which these balls would fit, and two 30-50 cm rulers.

Participants are divided into two teams. Each player must “bring” the ball with a ruler to the basket (through the air) and lower it with the same ruler into the basket standing on the floor. In this case, the ball should not fall to the floor and should not be touched by any part of the body. The winner is the team that gets the ball to the basket faster than the other (one at a time) with the fewest mistakes. The game may end if the ball bursts.

WHERE IS THE NOSE?

For the game to be a success, you need to draw a snowman in advance on a large sheet of paper (you can use whatman paper) and attach it to some vertical surface (wall, door, closet, etc.). Make the nose for this snowman separately: take a sheet of paper, roll it into the shape of a nose (“potato-shaped”, elongated) and wrap it with tape, but only with the sticky side up, so that the nose sticks to any surface.

Participants line up one after another, dividing into two teams. The queue can be established by numbers that are drawn in advance. The presenter blindfolds each player with a handkerchief or scarf, then spins the participant around his axis with the words: “It spins, spins, everything will stick to us,” and turns him to face the drawing. The player must stick the snowman's nose while blindfolded. For each accurate sticking of the nose, the participant receives a snowflake. The team with the most snowflakes wins.

NEW YEAR'S PICTURES

This game develops attention in children. Both interesting and useful. It will require two identical pictures with drawings (Christmas trees, snowmen, snowflakes, sleighs, skates).

The presenter lays out the pictures on the table, images down, and mixes them. Two participants take turns choosing two pictures. If the images match, the player takes them for himself; if not, he puts them back. The game continues until there are no pictures left on the table. The one who collects the most pictures wins.

Grandmas-Hedgehogs

This is an active game. To carry it out, prepare in advance a broom (like a janitor) or a broom, skittles (the quantity depends on the available distance). Participants must be divided into two teams. Each player runs on a broomstick (zigzag) between pins placed at a distance of 2-3 m from one another. In this game, the team that runs the fastest and knocks down the fewest pins wins.

DASHING CHAUFFERS

In this game, you will need toy cars (preferably trucks), on which you can place glasses (or small buckets) of water, filled to the brim. The number of cars will depend on the number of participants. Participants will have numbers pinned to their chests.

You need to tie ropes of the same length (10-15 m) to the cars. At the leader’s command, participants must quickly wind the rope around the stick, pulling the machine towards them. If the water splashes, the presenter loudly calls the number of the “driver”, and he stops winding the rope for a second. The winner is the participant who pulled up the car faster than the others without spilling the water. You can play without water, you just need to lengthen the rope.

BALL RACING

This is a very fun and noisy game. Before the game you need to inflate the balloons very much. Each participant sits on his own ball and begins to jump on it. The goal of the game is to jump on the ball as long as possible without it bursting.

The winner will be the one whose balloon goes the longest without bursting.

FLIGHT ON SNOWFLAKES

For this outdoor game, we will need to cut out 4 paper “snowflakes” in a size that matches the shoe size of the largest participant. “Snowflakes” can be made from ordinary white or colored paper, but it will be better if they are made from some thick paper (for example, Whatman paper) or thin cardboard.

All participants must be divided into two teams. At the leader’s signal, the participants must put one “snowflake” on the floor and step on it with both feet (without stepping on the free floor), then put the other one and step on it. So, rearranging the “snowflakes”, reach the chair. While the kids “fly” from “snowflake” to “snowflake”, the presenter can comment on their “flight”. Participants must run back. The team that arrives the fastest will win.

COCK-FIGHTS

This outdoor game can be played between two players or between two teams. Two participants stand opposite each other. At the leader’s command, the participants put one hand behind their back and begin to jump on one leg. At the same time, they push each other with their free hand. The winner is the participant who can stay on one leg longer than the other (without falling or standing on the other leg). If the game is played between teams, then each participant who wins is given a “snowflake” cut out of paper. The team with the most snowflakes will be considered the winner.

MISSING UNDER THE CAP

For this game you need to make a beautiful New Year's hat out of paper in advance, decorate it with tinsel, “rain”, and brightly paint it.

One player is taken out of the room where the participants are located. The remaining players (or the leader) hide one participant under a bright blanket and cover it with a prepared cap on top. All other participants change places. When the presenter brings in the player who came out, the player must determine who is hidden under the hood.

NEW YEAR FIGURES

This competition develops imagination and intelligence in young participants. The presenter gives each player multi-colored, bright, non-stick plasticine. Then he shows a letter (it is better to write the letters in advance on separate cards). Participants must create something New Year's (or winter) starting with this letter as quickly as possible. It could be a sleigh, a snowman, a Christmas tree, Santa Claus, a hat, mittens, felt boots. The winner will be the one who makes a plasticine figure the fastest.

FOUND RING

A large ring (diameter about 20-25 cm) is suitable for this game. It can be made from wire or cut out of some thick paper. And to make it elegant, it should be wrapped in shiny paper, tinsel or “rain.” Participants sit on chairs in a circle. Each player is given a rope, the ends of which are pre-tied, and a ring is threaded through this rope. The presenter (one of the little guests) stands in the middle of this circle. He is blindfolded with a handkerchief or scarf. The leader’s task is to find the ring on a string, while all participants move it in a circle or in different directions. When the ring is found, the leader should be changed.

FUNNY SLEDGE

In this game, participants must be divided into 2-3 equal teams. Each player is given a paper “sled” tied to a thread (the length of the thread can be 1-1.2 m), which must be cut out in advance from a landscape sheet and decorated with 2-3 (depending on the number of teams) colors. Each participant fastens his end of the thread with the “sledge” to the back of his belt so that the “sleigh” freely touches the floor. If the participant cannot do this, the presenter helps him. Each team has a different color sled. At the leader’s signal, the players, running after each other, try to step on the “sled” of the “opponent”. Participants are not allowed to touch the threads and “sleds” with their hands. The player whose sled is torn off leaves the game. The team with the most sleds left wins.

CHASING THE ICICLE

This competition will require two participants. But it can be carried out until everyone present has played enough in pairs.

You need to tie an “icicle” in the middle of the rope. You can take it from old stocks of Christmas tree decorations or, if you have imagination and skill, make it yourself from paper, cotton wool or something else and wrap it with multi-colored paper, tinsel or “rain”. A simple pencil, also beautifully designed, is attached to the ends of the rope. Each participant stands on their own side of the rope. His task is to wind his part of the rope around the pencil. The winner will be the one who reaches the “icicle” faster than the other.

JUMP INTO THE NEW YEAR

For this competition, all participants (if there is a very large number of participants, then take half) must be lined up in one line. At the command of the presenter, all participants “jump” into the New Year. The winner is the participant who jumped the farthest.

NAVIGATOR

This is just a fun game that does not require any skills from children. For this game, you should prepare in advance binoculars and a rope 5-6 m long (or such a length that it is comparable to the size of the room in which the competition is held). You need to lay a rope on the floor, not in a straight strip, but in a winding way. The participant is given binoculars, turning them over so that the objects become smaller. The participant, looking through binoculars, must walk along the entire length of the rope, trying to get his feet on it more accurately. The winner will be the navigator who completes the entire course more accurately than other navigators.

Hi all! Are you already thinking about how to entertain your children for the New Year? Then consider these 13 simple games to play at home.

Children's New Year Games and Competitions for the home

Where is Santa Claus?

Of course, the simplest and most famous entertainment is the search for the long-awaited Santa Claus.
The presenter or the Snow Maiden invites the children to call Grandfather Frost.
And after that, together they light up the Christmas tree in chorus: “Christmas tree, light up!”

Tangerine football

To play this game, children are divided into 2 teams. To play you need tangerines and two fingers of each player.
Children play on the table and try to score a goal for the second team.
You can, of course, play this game with a goalkeeper, but then it will be much more difficult to score a goal.
This is a very fun game for developing team spirit, as well as dexterity and motor skills.
Adults, join the kids - it's a lot of fun!

Round dance for kids

Young children love to dance around the Christmas tree. It is simple and accessible for them.
It’s great to do such a round dance around the Christmas tree with the song “A Christmas tree was born in the forest” or “The little Christmas tree is cold in winter.”
If your child is doing a round dance for the first time or is shy, be sure to stand next to him and show with your example how great and fun it is.
Such a simple round dance unites children and adults and relieves tension.

Snowball

Both children of all ages and adults love to play this interesting outdoor game.
From paper, masking tape, etc. you need to make as many “snowballs” as possible. By the way, I never use newspapers for children's games, because... I know that printing ink contains harmful substances.
Participants in the game take turns throwing these “snowballs” into any large “basket” (basket, box, bucket...) and try to get into it. Of course, the older the participants, the further away the basket should be placed to make it more interesting.
An excellent game for accuracy, dexterity and coordination.

"Attentive" song

Children sing in chorus a well-known song, for example, “A Christmas tree was born in the forest.”
When the leader claps, everyone falls silent and continues to sing the song to themselves.
When the leader claps again, the children begin to sing out loud again.
Anyone who starts singing out of tune with the others is eliminated from the game.

Large and small Christmas trees

Santa Claus (or the presenter) tells the children: different Christmas trees grow in the forest - small and large, low and tall.
At the word “low” or “small,” the presenter and children lower their hands down. On the word “large” or “high” - they lift up.
The presenter (or Santa Claus) repeats these commands in different orders, while accompanying his words with “wrong” gestures, trying to confuse the children.
Excellent game for attention.

Collect snowballs

This game is for older children. Let's make lumps of cotton wool or balls of paper - these will be “snowballs”. We lay them out next to the Christmas tree or around the room on the floor. We give each participant a basket, bag or box.
The winner is the participant who collects the most “snowballs” while Blindfolded.
An excellent game that develops spatial thinking and sense of touch.

Flying snowflakes

This game can also be played by both children and adults.
Participants take a small piece of cotton wool - a “snowflake”, and simultaneously throw it and blow on it in order to keep it in the air for as long as possible. You know who wins. 😉
This is a wonderful outdoor game for developing lungs and dexterity.

Guess the gift

A wonderful game for younger children. You need to put different items in an opaque bag.
The child determines by touch what object is in his hand. And if he guesses right, he gets it as a gift.
An excellent game that develops spatial thinking and tactile sensations.

New Year's fishing

A game for older children and adults. Prepare unbreakable Christmas decorations with loops, put them in a large box, and find several fishing rods.
When the presenter gives the command, the participants in the game decorate the Christmas tree using fishing rods and try to do it as quickly as possible. The one who hangs the most toys on the Christmas tree wins.
A great game that develops dexterity.

Pass the orange

The participants of the game are divided into two teams of 5 - 10 people.
When the host gives the signal to start the game, each participant passes the orange to the next player on their team without using their hands.
The team that completes the task the fastest without dropping the orange wins.
This game also develops team spirit, dexterity and ingenuity.

winter wind

For this game, 3 to 5 participants sit around a smooth table. They try, like the wind, to blow away a paper snowflake, a wad of cotton wool or a paper ball from this table.
The game develops lightness and perseverance.

Collect snowflakes

For this game you need to make “snowflakes” - cotton balls or paper snowflakes. Stretch fishing lines in the room and hang these “snowflakes” on strings. All competition participants will be given scissors and buckets/baskets.
The winner is the one who, after the leader’s command, collects the most “snowflakes” in his bucket within a certain time.
This fun, active game develops speed and dexterity.
