- only if this is not associated with material costs;
- especially in someone else's house;
- this is my old dream;

New Year's games for kids

Build a snowman

To play, you will need two stands; they can be cut out of thick cardboard. In advance, you need to mold parts of the Snowman figure from plasticine: 3 balls different sizes, carrot nose, broom, hat (2 sets). The parts must be large enough.

Two people compete. Each participant tries to assemble their own Snowman as soon as possible.

Trap

Having run away from Santa Claus, the children stop and, clapping their hands, say: “One-two-three! One two Three! Well, hurry up and catch us!” When the text ends, everyone runs away. Santa Claus is catching up with the children.

Playing with rattles

Children, holding rattles in their hands, run scattered around the room to cheerful music. When the music ends, the children stop and hide the rattles behind their backs. The fox (or another character participating in the game) is looking for rattles. She asks the children to show her first one hand, then the other. Children behind their backs transfer rattles from one hand to another, as if showing that there is nothing in their hand. The fox is surprised that the rattles have disappeared. The music plays again and the game repeats.

Hares and fox

Children perform movements according to the text.

Carry it in a bag

A bag is placed in front of the tree (it is divided into 2 parts, one of them has no bottom). Santa Claus calls children who want to ride in a sack. He puts the child in a sack and carries him around the tree. He places the other child in the part of the bag where there is no bottom. Santa Claus walks around the Christmas tree, and the child remains in place. Santa Claus returns and is “surprised.” The game repeats itself.

Catch a snowball

Several couples participate. Children stand opposite each other at a distance of approximately 4 meters. One child has an empty bucket, the other has a bag with a certain number of “snowballs” (tennis or rubber balls). At a signal, the child throws snowballs, and the partner tries to catch them with a bucket. The first couple to finish the game and collect the most snowballs wins.

There are Christmas trees...

In bags around the tree

2 children compete. They get into the bags with their feet. The top of the bags is held with your hands. At a signal, children run around the tree in different directions. The one who runs faster wins. The next pair continues the game.

Mitten

All children stand in a circle. Santa Claus loses his mitten.

The host of the holiday finds her and, turning to Santa Claus, asks: “Santa Claus, isn’t this your mitten?” Santa Claus replies: “The mitten is mine, I’ll catch up with it, friends.” The children pass the mitten to each other, and Santa Claus tries to take it from the children.

Mousetrap

The two tallest participants or two adults stand and join hands. They hold their hands up (like a mini round dance) and say:

“We were so tired of the mice, they chewed everything, ate everything. Let’s set up a mousetrap and catch all the mice.”

The remaining participants - mice - run between the hands of the catchers. On last words hands give up, the “mousetrap” slams shut, whoever is caught joins the catchers. The “moustrap” increases, the game repeats. The last mouse wins.

Yarn

Children are divided into pairs. Each pair is given a spool of thread and a pencil. At the command of the leaders, the children begin to rewind the threads onto the pencil. The winner is the one who winds the most threads in the allotted time.

Fox and Bunny

Children stand in a circle. Two of them, standing opposite, are given toys: one - a fox, the other - a hare. At a signal, children begin to pass these toys around in a circle. The hare “runs away”, and the fox “catches up” with him.

The most awaited, the most, is approaching magical holiday- New Year. And, of course, the children are especially looking forward to it, with the greatest impatience. After all, it is to them that the whole miracle is most fully revealed. New Year's fairy tale. And the task of adults is to create this fairy tale for their children.

But creating a fairy tale is not only about decorating a Christmas tree, buying gifts and preparing a costume for a child. We still need to make New Year's Eve truly unforgettable, fun and funny.

And for this, various games, tricks, tasks and competitions for children for the New Year are perfect.

Competitions for kids

Young children's knowledge, experience and skills are limited. They still don’t read well, or even don’t know how to read at all, their coordination and motor skills are less developed, but they have a desire to have fun, fool around and move around.

Taking these conditions into account, it is worth selecting competitions for the New Year for preschool and junior children school age.

Choice of Father Frost and Snow Maiden

To begin with, you can offer a simple, unpretentious, but at the same time very funny lottery competition: the choice of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. Prepare small pieces of paper in advance, maybe in the shape of snowflakes. Their number must match the number of guests at the party. On one of them write “Father Frost”, on the second “Snow Maiden”. The rest can be left blank, or you can sign the names of others New Year's characters: snowman, snowflakes, bunnies.

Carefully fold the finished pieces of paper and throw them into a small container from which it will be convenient to remove them. It could be a cap or hat, a box, a beautiful jar or dish. Little guests should take out these pieces of paper one by one and see who got what role.

Be sure to prepare props for the two lucky ones who will pull out those same pieces of paper. Since both children and adults will participate in this distinction, you should not prepare fur coats or dresses. You risk not guessing with the size. Let it be hats of appropriate colors, masks, belts... In general, something that will be comfortable for both adults and children. To enhance the effect, the winners can be asked to dance together.

Symbol of the year

Next, you can organize a competition for best symbol of the year. 2015 is the year of the goat or sheep according to Eastern calendar, whoever likes it more. Let guests compete to see who can show off one of these animals better. If the kids find it difficult to repeat the movements of animals, and what with a goat, what with a sheep - this is really difficult, let them bleat or meme. The presenter will only have to choose the best one and give him the bell.

To the chimes

What's New Year without a Christmas tree? And which child doesn’t love decorating the green beauty? And if you do it at speed... So, divide the players into two teams, and let each team choose from among the participants the one who will be the Christmas tree.

You should have a variety of unbreakable decorations. It can be candy, rain, tinsel, paper garlands, snowflakes and much more that your imagination suggests. To make it easier to attach decorations to the tree, provide the contestants with clothespins. Find the chimes or other sound accompaniment one minute long in advance. Chimes or music will measure the time for the competition. Whichever team has the most fun, original tree wins.

Grab it

Remember the good old game with chairs? You can modernize it a little for New Year's Eve. Place a stool or small table in the center of the hall, and place New Year's masks, glasses and other accessories and decorations on it. There should be one less decoration than there are participants. Otherwise, the rules are the same: music plays, and children dance, play, and run around the table. As soon as the music ends, the kids grab a mask or decoration from the table and put it on themselves. The one left without an accessory is eliminated and the game continues.

The neighbor's is better

An interesting variation of round dance for kids. The children stand around the Christmas tree, and the leader asks the question: “Where are your hands?” Children show. Then the presenter asks: “Are they good?”, the children say that they are good. Then the presenter asks: “What about the neighbor?” “And the neighbor’s is better,” the children answer, grab the neighbor’s hands and begin to dance in a circle. Then the game is repeated with another part of the body: nose, ears, legs...

Choosing a Christmas tree

Another great competition for kids is choosing a Christmas tree. The Christmas trees will be children, and one of the adults will play Santa Claus. First, Santa Claus and the children will show what Christmas trees are like. And they can be high (arms go up, the child stands on tiptoes), low (arms go as far down as possible, the child squats), wide (arms spread to the sides) and narrow (arms move very close).

Then Santa Claus begins to walk among the “Christmas trees” and say which Christmas tree is in front of him, pointing with his hands. For example: “How tall is this Christmas tree.” And the child, to whom the adult points, must show which Christmas tree Grandfather Frost saw. When the children get used to it a little, the adult begins to confuse them: he says one thing, but shows another with his hands. Whoever makes a mistake repeats the movement instead of listening is eliminated.

Competitions for older children

Competitions for the New Year for older children open up much more scope for imagination. But they also require a more serious approach. It is more difficult to captivate such children. Much of what delights children will seem uninteresting to middle school children.

What's in the black box

Everyone loves gifts, and surprises too. Therefore, the surprise prize will certainly captivate the children. Take a box, for example, a shoe box, and put a valuable item in it. Place this box in the center of the room and ask the children to guess what is in it. The winner will receive the contents as a gift. Children may ask questions that you only have to answer “yes” or “no.”

Letters and words

This competition can be held in two versions. First: place a piece of paper with a letter under each guest’s plate. Each of them must name as many New Year's words starting with this letter as possible. These could be New Year's heroes, dishes with New Year's table, New Year's paraphernalia and in general everything that is somehow associated with this holiday.

Or you can make words from letters on a piece of paper. The bigger, the better.

Pull a gift

You will need two boxes and a few prize items. A ribbon or string is attached to the box, its second end is attached to a pencil so that the ribbon or string can be wound, pulling the box towards you.

Prizes are stolen into the box, pencils are given to the participants and the presenter gives the start. Whoever pulls the box to him first will receive a prize from it.

This competition is especially fun if a child and an adult compete. In this case, the prizes in the boxes may have different weights: for a child, something light, for an adult, on the contrary, something heavy.

Let's make a snowman

The contestants' task is to make a snowman out of plasticine. At first glance, the competition is very simple. But it was not there. The two of you will have to sculpt, sitting at the table, hugging each other. The bottom line is that one participant can only use right hand, the second - only with the left. Plasticine needs to be kneaded and softened before the competition.

Cut the prize

Quite a simple but fun game. Prizes are hung on strings at different heights. Participants are blindfolded and given scissors. Their task is to snag the prize they like (or at least some).

To complicate the task, you can offer to give a rope with a prize into the hands of a person. In this case, the height of the prize will not be fixed; after blindfolding, the hand with the thread can be raised or lowered.

New Year character

Prepare cards in advance with the names of New Year's characters written on them. Participants in the competition take these cards one by one and try to show the others the character they came across. You can show with gestures, pantomime, facial expressions. But you can’t talk about it. The audience must guess which character is meant. The guesser draws the next card.

Guess it

Another competition about New Year's heroes. This time, cards with the names of the heroes are hung on the participants’ backs. So that no one could read their sign, but could see other people's signs. The task is to guess which character you got. You can ask other participants questions that can be answered with “yes” or “no.”

Photo proofs

The word “casting” is probably familiar today even to young children. So why not arrange for New Year's Eve photo tests for the role of the most formidable Leshy or the most greedy Santa Claus?

And you won’t need much for this: a person with a camera, guests who want to have fun and minimal props that will allow you to successfully complement the image that the contestant is trying to embody.

Dancing with obstacles

This competition will require a rope and a spacious room. All participants stand against one wall. Two people pull the rope at a height of 20 centimeters. They turn on the music and the participants begin to dance towards the opposite wall. Naturally, stepping over an obstacle.

For the next stage, guests dance in the opposite direction, but the rope is raised 10 cm. This continues until the participants have to jump over the rope to cross the room. From this moment on, participants begin to drop out. The most dexterous one wins.

Poetic horoscope

First, find out in which animal each guest was born. If there are repetitions, then the guests can unite in one team, or they can participate solo. The task of each participant is to read a short poem as the symbol of his year would read it. It is advisable to choose one text for everyone.

If a company gathers at your home for the New Year, in which there will be a large number of children, part of the evening must be devoted to them. We need to try to make the holiday fun. It’s good if the children are about the same age, but more often than not, the difference is quite noticeable. This means you will have to try to please everyone.

It is advisable, of course, not just to come up with competitions and arrange them in a convenient order, but to write holiday script . This will help turn the holiday into a real fairy tale, where all competitions and tasks bring miracles closer: the appearance of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, saving animals, presenting gifts...

But, alas, not all parents have such talents. Therefore, it is important to at least choose the right competitions and correctly distribute them over time. First of all, it is important to determine in advance the age of the children, because this will determine which competitions will be appropriate. And the length of the program too. Kids get tired quickly, and that’s enough for them entertainment program for 30–40 minutes. Older children may need more time.

These games can be used on children's New Year's party, on the New Year's holiday.

Land - water

Children stand in one line. As soon as Santa Claus says: “Land!”, everyone jumps forward; will say: “Water!” - back. The competition is held at a fast pace. Santa Claus can pronounce other words instead of the word “water,” for example: sea, river, bay, ocean; instead of the word “land” - shore, land, island. The one who jumped at the wrong time is eliminated.

The winner is the last player - the most attentive.

Occupy your house

Santa Claus divides the children into pairs. They hold hands - these are “houses”. The rest are “birds”, there are more of them than “houses”. "Birds" are flying. When Santa Claus announces: “It’s raining,” the birds should occupy the “houses.” Those who don't have enough are eliminated from the game.

Sparrow, tweet!

One child sits on a high chair, with his back to the other children. Father Frost and the Snow Maiden choose a “sparrow” who comes up behind the person sitting and puts his hands on his shoulders. He says: “Sparrow, tweet!” “Sparrow” says: “Chick-chirp!” The person sitting guesses who it is. If you guess right, the one who played the role of the sparrow sits on a chair. And the presenter chooses a new “sparrow”.

Surprises on a string

Father Frost and Snow Maiden stretch a rope between two chairs, on which identical “candies” made of foil hang. Each child comes up and cuts off a piece of “candy.” There is a note inside that states what he will receive as a gift. And Santa Claus immediately takes this gift out of his magic bag and hands it to the player.

Funny monkeys

Santa Claus reads poems and shows movements:

We are funny monkeys

We play too loud.

We clap our hands

We stomp our feet

Puff out our cheeks

Let's jump on our toes.

And even to each other

We'll show you the tongues.

Let's jump to the ceiling together

Let's put our finger to our temple.

Let's stick out our ears,

Ponytail on top of head.

Let's open our mouths wider,

We'll make all the faces.

How can I say the number three?

Everyone freeze with grimaces.

Children repeat the movements of Santa Claus, and then freeze with grimaces. Father Frost and Snow Maiden choose the grimace they liked best.

Who is bigger?

Santa Claus invites children to name as many objects as possible that begin with the same letter. The one who names the last item wins. Father Frost and Snow Maiden help children choose the right words - they give them little hints.

A faithful horse and a homely elephant...

Santa Claus invites children to choose definitions for words. For example: fox - cunning, red; cat - affectionate, soft, etc. Whoever chooses the most definitions wins. If there are a lot of children, you can divide them into two teams and let them compete.

What is it, who is it?

This is a "reverse game". Now Santa Claus gives various definitions, and the children must guess what we're talking about. For example: small, gray, timid - a mouse; ruddy, ripe, pouring - apple; bright, golden, shining - the sun, etc.

Pull the string

Two guys sit on chairs with their backs to each other. There is a rope or cord under the chairs. At a signal from Santa Claus, each player runs around the other's chair, sits on his own chair and tries to quickly grab the end of the rope and pull it out.

Where is your nest?

Moms and dads get the roles of trees. Everyone freezes in a pose corresponding to the character of the tree: a slender fir-tree, a gnarled elm, a mighty oak, etc. A wonderful forest!

Children get the roles of animals and birds. All of them are located in groups of 3-4 people under the trees. There are their nests and burrows.

At the command of Santa Claus: “The day comes - everything comes to life!” animals and birds leave their nests. They run, jump, enjoy the sun. But the command sounds: “Night comes - everything freezes!”, and the children must immediately return to their houses. Whoever hesitates is eliminated from the game. The one who moves while under his tree “at night” also loses. He will be immediately noticed by the owl bird of prey, whose role is played by the Snow Maiden. Trees make sure that only their inhabitants are hiding under them.

In the second round, the game becomes more complicated: after the command “The day is coming...” the trees change places and take other poses. Now the guys need to be very careful so as not to “get lost.”

Who is the most dexterous?

Father Frost: You guys are funny and friendly. But are you dexterous? I have two magic wands. They will show me who is the smartest here.

Children receive round sticks with a diameter of 2.5-3 cm and a length of 25-30 cm in their hands. A long ribbon, at least 4 m, is stretched between these sticks. Exactly in the middle between the players, a bow is tied on the ribbon. The players' task is to wrap the ribbon around the stick as quickly as possible. Whoever gets to the bow the fastest wins. The condition of the competition is that when winding the ribbon, the stick must be held with both hands. In this competition, it is important to properly organize the audience. The presenter should invite the audience to show how they will support the players. The more energetically the audience cheers, the better. This simple competition turns into a bright emotional spectacle. In terms of intensity of passion, it is sometimes not inferior to a football or hockey match.

Winter landscape

Snow Maiden: I really like, grandpa, how you paint the windows in winter with fancy patterns. You wonderful artist. And the children will be able to compose winter pattern, How do you think?

Father Frost: We will see this now. Here are the parts for you, children. winter paintings. Whoever completes the picture faster wins.

Teams or individual players are given reproductions of a winter landscape, randomly cut into unequal parts. When given a signal, everyone must form a picture as quickly and correctly as possible.

After this, Father Frost and Snow Maiden invite the children to play charades.

CHARADES

There are words that consist of two or three words. For example: bar-suk, collection-lecture, kol-bas-a.

Father Frost and Snow Maiden can play charades with children. You can split into two teams. Father Frost and his children make a word for the Snow Maiden's team and vice versa.

Children will become actors. They will need to show skits that use words included in given word. And then another performance showing the whole word.

And the audience must try to guess this word. How many parts the words will consist of - so many performances will need to be shown.

My first syllable is a sea animal,

Sometimes they hunt him.

And the interjection is the second one.

Everything is the state. But which one? (China)

The preposition is at the beginning of mine,

At the end is a country house.

And we decide everything

Both at the blackboard and at the table. (Task)

The first syllable is forest,

The second is a poem.

But the whole grows, although it is not a plant. (Beard)

Have you already started preparing competitions for the New Year 2019? Yesterday I decided to look for various games and competitions for the New Year, and found many interesting ones that will help us enter the Year of the Pig cheerfully and joyfully.

How to prepare for competitions and games: fun and interesting competitions for the New Year will help save even traditional New Year's family gatherings in the company of a TV, not to mention a party for fun company. However, it is best to prepare a little.

  1. Make a plan for games and competitions. A group of adults will need to eat, raise their glasses to the New Year, and dance, so game program should be carefully woven into the natural flow of the party.
  2. Prepare your props. Having decided what you will play at home for the New Year, make a list of what you will need for this or that competition. It is best to arrange the props and prizes according to thematic competitions(I use small gift bags for this).
  3. Stock up on prizes. People love to receive small funny prizes - candies, chocolates, cute New Year's toys. It’s better to take extra prizes.
  4. It is better to make auxiliary materials on cards - if you need to stock up on some phrases, scripts and texts, then write or print them on regular cards in advance, this is much more convenient than using one large script.
  5. Select music, identify your helpers, prepare a place for games.

Collection of competitions and games

"Wishes"

The simplest New Year's games and all sorts of competitions where guests don’t have to do anything - for example, they can be asked to burst balloons with wishes inside.

You need to prepare in advance a large bunch of balloons (their number should be greater than the number of guests, just in case), inside which notes with wishes are inserted. For example, you can give a guest scissors and invite him to cut off the ball he likes, and then read it aloud to all the guests - such a simple but cute entertainment helps the company have fun and unite.

"Tsiferki"

New Year's games and competitions based on the question-and-answer model always receive a lot of applause. It’s no wonder - everyone loves to laugh, but there are no difficulties.

So, the host hands out small pieces of paper and pens to the guests, and invites them to write down their favorite number (or any other number that comes to mind). If you wish, you can record some sequence and play several circles. When all the guests have completed the task, the presenter says that now everyone present will be able to learn more about each other - he will ask questions, and the guests will answer them, holding up a piece of paper with the numbers written down, and loudly announcing the answer.

It is best to choose simple questions - how old is this or that guest, how many times a day does he eat, how much does he weigh, how many times has he stayed for a second year, and so on.

"Not a word of truth"

My favorite pastimes are funny competitions for the new year. Of course, for a group of pensioners you will need to choose something more decent, but in your circle you can always have fun - for example, by playing the game “Not a Word of the Truth”.

The presenter will need to prepare in advance many New Year's questions, such as these:
  • What tree is traditionally decorated for the holiday?
  • What film in our country symbolizes the New Year?
  • What is customary to launch into the sky on New Year's Eve?
  • who is sculpted from snow in winter?
  • who on TV addresses Russians with a New Year's speech?
  • The outgoing year is the year of whom according to the Chinese calendar?
It’s better to write down more questions, you can ask about New Year’s traditions different countries, or the habits of guests. During the game, the host will have to quickly and cheerfully ask his questions, and the guests will answer, without saying a word of the truth.

The one who makes a mistake and answers truthfully, based on the results of the game, can read poetry, sing a song or fulfill various wishes - you can use wishes to play forfeits, for example, the loser needs to put several slices of tangerine in both cheeks and say something like “I’m a hamster and I eat grain, don’t touch it - it’s mine, and whoever takes it will be finished!”. Bursts of laughter are guaranteed - both during the game and during the “punishment” of the losing participant.

"Accurate shooter"

As entertainment for the New Year 2019, you can play snipers. It’s most fun to play this game when the participants are already a little tipsy - and coordination becomes more free, and there is less constraint, and it’s a little more difficult to hit the target.

The essence of the game is as follows - the guests are divided into two teams, and in turn each player throws “snowballs” into a bucket. The bucket is placed at a distance of five to seven meters from the players; you can use lumps of cotton wool, crumpled paper as “snowballs,” or just take a couple of sets of simple New Year’s plastic balls, which are sold in any supermarket.

I decided to improve this game for a New Year's party 2019 for adults and use children's basketball hoops as a “goal” - hitting them with a soft ball of cotton wool is even more difficult than hitting a bucket.

"New Year decoration"

Certainly, New Year's competitions for adults they may be less athletic.

All those present should be divided into teams of 5-6 people (depending on the number of guests at your party). The teams are given the task of building a New Year's ball. For production, you can only use toiletries, accessories and jewelry that the team members are wearing. The winner is the team that makes the brightest and most beautiful ball.

By the way, a little life hack- in every company there are people who do not actively participate in competitions and try to just sit out, which is why quite a lot of time is spent on persuasion. So, appoint them to the jury - you can make them score cards in advance, offer them to make a short speech into an improvised microphone. This way they will be simultaneously involved in the general fun, and at the same time they will not have to be persuaded and pulled out from the table.

And of course, the sight of her own mother, who soulfully speaks into a glass of champagne instead of a microphone about how grateful she is to Mikhalkov and the Film Academy for the opportunity to see Battle on the Ice in your own living room - priceless. :))

"Come, forest deer"

By the way, if you are selecting competitions for a corporate event for the New Year or for a party that will not take place in a city apartment, then be sure to play Santa with his reindeer. There is no need to divide the guests into teams; it is enough to simply invite them to split into pairs.

Each pair has a “reindeer” and a “Santa” (you can give one improvised antlers, and the other Santa hats - both are sold for mere pennies in a fixed price store before the new year).

The “deer” needs to be blindfolded and made into a harness - no need to split hairs, a simple clothesline or cord that wraps around the belt will do. The reins are given to Santa, who stands behind his “reindeer.” A track is built from the pins, the leader gives a signal and the competition begins. Those participants who reach the finish line earlier than others and do not knock down the pins win. Instead of skittles, you can use empty bottles, cardboard drink cups or paper cones (we made them in the shape of Christmas trees, it was very cute).

"Collective letter"

When it comes to New Year's games at the table, I always remember how my parents and friends wrote a collective New Year's greetings for everyone present. You can use a ready-made text (as in the image), you can create your own - the main thing is that it should not contain adjectives - the guests should call them.

The host invites the guests to congratulate each other and say a big and beautiful toast - and waves a postcard on which he has already written a congratulation. Only he didn’t have enough adjectives, and the guests must suggest them. Everyone randomly offers adjectives related to winter, New Year and holiday, and the presenter writes them down and then reads out the result - the text turns out to be very funny!

"Turnip: New Year's version"

If you love New Year's competitions for the whole family, then turnip is what you need!

So, you need to prepare the participants - they need to match the number of characters in the fairy tale. Each participant gets a role in an impromptu performance. It's simple, the participant needs to remember the key phrase and movement that he must act out when mentioning himself.
  1. The turnip will slap its knees and then clap its hands with the exclamation “Both-on!”
  2. Grandfather rubs his palms and grunts, “Yes, sir!”
  3. The grandmother swings her fist at the grandfather and says, “I would have killed him!”
  4. The granddaughter dances and sings “I’m ready!” in a high voice (when men play this role, it turns out just great).
  5. The bug itches and complains of fleas.
  6. The cat wags its tail and mannerly drawls, “And I’m on my own.”
  7. The mouse sadly shrugs its shoulders and says, “We’ve finished the game!”
After everyone has tried themselves new role, the presenter reads the text of the fairy tale (no changes here), and the actors act out their role whenever they hear about themselves. The grandfather planted (rubs his hands and grunts) a turnip (clap-clap, both of them!) and further according to the text. Believe me, there will be enough bursts of laughter, especially when the fairy tale comes to the end, and the presenter will list all the participants in turn.

"Strictly in alphabetical order"

During one of the pauses, the presenter takes the floor and reminds everyone present that the New Year’s celebration is just beginning, but it’s already difficult to remember the alphabet. In this connection, the presenter suggests filling the glasses and raising them, but strictly in alphabetical order.

Each guest must make a short toast to his letter of the alphabet. The first one starts with the letter a, the second one should start with the letter b, and so on. Toasts should be simple:
  1. A It is absolutely necessary to drink to happiness in the new year!
  2. B Let's go healthy in the new year!
  3. IN Let's drink to the old year!
  4. E If we don’t get drunk, we’ll have to eat!
The task for everyone present is to make toasts for each letter of the alphabet, and then choose the winner - the one who came up with the best toast, which is worth drinking for!

"Bunnies"

If you want to pick up outdoor games for the New Year 2019, play bunny. On New Year's Eve, it is best to play this game at home when there are many guests - it is suitable for a group of friends.

Everyone stands in a circle and holds hands, the leader walks around all the players in a circle and whispers to everyone the names of two animals - a wolf and a bunny, a fox and a bunny, and so on. Then he explains the essence of the game - when the presenter says the name of the animal out loud, the person for whom it was given crouches, and his neighbors on the left and right, on the contrary, pull him up, not allowing him to sit down. You need to play at a good pace so that the participants get into a frenzy.

The main joke of this action is that absolutely all players have a second animal - a bunny. Therefore, after people have taken turns squatting to the names of other animals, the leader says “Bunny!”, and the whole circle suddenly tries to sit down (trying to overcome the possible resistance of neighbors, as was the case with other animals).

Naturally, everyone starts laughing, and a pile of small things gathers on the floor!

"News from the New Year"

A great competition that you can play without leaving the table.

The presenter will need to prepare cards on which unrelated words and concepts will be written - five or six words, no more needed. Each participant receives a card and must quickly come up with hot news from the New Year's issue, using all the words from the card. What to write on cards? Any set of words.
  • China, dumplings, roses, Olympics, lilac.
  • Santa Claus, wheel, eraser, north, bag.
  • New Year 2019, fan, tights, pan, scabies.
  • Santa Claus, pig, herring, stapler, barrier.
  • Nettle, tinsel, Kirkorov, fishing rod, plane.
  • Football, shovel, snow, Snow Maiden, tangerines.
  • Snowman, beard, tights, bicycle, school.
  • Winter, zoo, washing, boa constrictor, rug.
How to come up with news? Set an example for your guests by showing them that all words need to be used, and the stranger the news, the more interesting it is.

Well, for example, from the last example I gave, you can build something like this: “In the Moscow Zoo, during winter washing, a rug was discovered in a boa constrictor.” There will be a reason to be surprised, and laugh, and drink to the fact that all the news in the new 2019 will be just as positive.

"We're jumping into the New Year"

As a family, we often organize jumping as an entertainment for the New Year, and 2019 will not be an exception, I’m sure - this is already a kind of tradition.

So, how it happens: after drinking for the outgoing year, the presenter brings markers and pencils (the brighter the better) and a large sheet of paper (Whatman paper A0-A1) and invites everyone present not just to enter the new year, but to jump - so that it passes dynamically, energetically and brightly!

And for all your wishes to come true, you need to draw them. On a large sheet of paper, everyone draws their desires - some manage to draw several miniatures, for others it is enough to sketch what they want. By the time the president speaks, the drawing is usually finished or remains finishing touches. After the president’s speech, the presenter invites everyone to join hands, count out the chimes in unison, and solemnly jump into the New Year and into the success of their own desires!

By the way, my mother and I usually save the sheet, and next year checking who has what has come true is also a topic for table conversation, by the way.

"The best"

Good New Year's entertainment can happen without a host. Good way keep the guests busy - give them unique tasks, but few people want to just compete, right?

Therefore, we do the following - we hang sweets or small gifts on the Christmas tree. It is best to opt for figured chocolate or other sweet Christmas tree decorations. We provide each with a note to whom the gift is intended, but we write not names, but some definitions that the guests will have to think about and get to know each other better (ideal when there are newcomers who need to join the existing company).

What to write on labels:

  1. The owner of the brownest eyes.
  2. The best high jumper.
  3. To the biggest hooligan (here you will have to tell everyone about your hooliganism in childhood).
  4. The owner of the best tan.
  5. The owner of the highest heels.
  6. The owner of the most dangerous job.
  7. A couple whose number of buttons on their clothes is 10.
  8. To the one who is wearing more yellow today.
I think you understand the main message. Guests will independently begin to find out who vacationed where, who has a brighter tan, measure the length of their heels and discuss work.

"Song from a Hat"

By the way, almost all New Year's competitions at the table involve playing with a hat - some notes are thrown into the hat in advance, and then they are pulled out and carried out tasks for relatives or colleagues.

In the New Year 2019, we will play with our family a popular variation of this game with songs. You need to scribble notes with winter and New Year's words into the hat, each guest blindly takes a note out of the hat and sings a song in which this word appears.

By the way, you will be able to have fun even if during the feast you forget all the songs - most likely, your family, like my relatives, will have a great idea to compose a small song on the go to the most popular tune, or somehow remake one from famous New Year's songs of past years.

By the way, this game is also suitable for small company of any age - of course, a schoolchild is unlikely to recognize Soviet songs, but the result will be funny, and different age groups will be able to get closer while playing - after all, cool New Year's competitions unite!

"Mittens"

Naturally, New Year's competitions for young people are not complete without flirting - why not help friends get closer?

So, the girls put on robes or shirts, and the guys are given thick winter mittens. The essence of the competition is to quickly button up the girls' shirts so that they don't freeze!

By the way, my friends, who love various New Year's competitions for teenagers and young people, wanted to do this competition in reverse - freeing the girls from their shirts, however, they were forced to disqualify the participant - it turns out that even with mittens it is convenient to pull the hem of the shirt and tear off all the buttons at once. Therefore, it is better to fasten it; it is not easy to do this in mittens.

"Let's draw Santa Claus"

Creative New Year competitions for corporate parties are a great opportunity to have fun.

So, holes are made for the hands in a thick sheet of cardboard. We give the players tassels, they must stick their hands into the holes and portray Santa Claus. At this moment they cannot see what they are drawing.

At work, you can divide the team into male and female teams, and give one the task of portraying the Snow Maiden, and the other - Grandfather Frost. The winner is the team whose result is most similar to a fairy-tale character.

By the way, if you are selecting competitions for a New Year’s corporate party, do not forget to find funny music - I use music from children’s music for New Year’s competitions 2019 Soviet cartoons, this usually evokes the warmest emotions.

"We distribute roles"

Begin fun competitions For the New Year, your family can enjoy this kind of entertainment.

Prepare more attributes of fairy-tale New Year's characters, put notes with roles in empty Kinder capsules (you can simply wrap them in wrapping paper like candy) and start games at the table for the New Year with an offer to find out who still runs the show.

Everyone present must play their part. These could be snowflakes, bunnies, squirrels, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, the Snow Queen, an overseas guest - Santa Claus and his reindeer. Provide small attributes to all guests that will be relevant to their role that night - e.g. snow queen a crown is suitable, Santa Claus can loudly knock with his elegant staff, and a company of oversized bunnie boys with white ears will decorate any New Year's photo.

Believe me, New Year's table games will take on a new color as soon as Grandma Winter or Mikhailo Potapych, who specially woke up for competitions for the New Year 2019 and New Year's dances, begins to speak a toast.

"Photo tests"

Which cool competitions for the new year without photos?

Make an area for photography and collect some props in this corner - guests will be able to take photos in different images, and then you can arrange photo tests. So, you will need to determine who is suitable for the role:
  • the most decrepit snowflake;
  • the sleepiest guest;
  • the most cheerful Baba Yaga;
  • the hungriest Santa Claus;
  • the most generous Santa Claus;
  • the kindest Santa Claus;
  • the most beautiful Snow Maiden;
  • the most overfed guest;
  • the most cheerful guest;
  • the most cunning Baba Yaga;
  • the evil Kashchei himself;
  • the strongest hero;
  • the most capricious princess;
  • the biggest snowflake;
  • and so on…
By the way, you can hold this competition a little differently - stock up on props, and invite guests to draw, without looking, the role in which they will be photographed, and the rest of the participants should help with advice and deeds to better embody the image. You can laugh during the process, and when you look at the pictures - fortunately, you can do this in just a few minutes.

"Little things from Grandfather Frost"

Tell your guests this legend about how Santa Claus was walking through the forest with gifts, fell with one foot into a snowdrift and spilled gifts from the bag. The big ones remained in the bag, but the small presents fell out. And you picked them up and now give them to all the guests.

Wrap all kinds of nice little things that you bought in advance in opaque packaging, or you can wrap gifts in small pieces of fabric, like miniature bags, tied with a thick thread or ribbon.

Pleasant little things can include: calendar cards, candles, keychains, pens, flashlights, kinders, liquid soap, magnets.

Every time it surprises with what trepidation guests wait for these gifts... Not only children, but even adults :-)

Well, and finally, be a good magician and predictor, one more thing New Year's entertainment from website:

Now you know how my holiday will go, and what games you will have for New Year's corporate party or a house party? Share your ideas, because it’s better to prepare table games for the New Year and interesting competitions in advance, and 2019 is just around the corner!
