Tatyana Lazareva why she left television. Lazareva and Schatz: On the radio you feel like a complete idiot, but an excellent worker! The thimblekeepers were left without money

Four years ago, when famous TV presenters Tatyana Lazareva and Mikhail Shats were fired from the STS television channel, everyone understood why this happened, but only a select few knew how exactly the broadcaster got rid of politically unreliable people. In a fresh interview with Snob, Tatyana shared the details of that story:

There is, for example, Ivan Urgant, a witty man of great talent. He works at Channel One and makes permitted jokes. At the same time, he does a lot of real good deeds: he does charity work, tells an audience of millions what Down syndrome is, and helps the Center for Curative Pedagogy. How do you like this path?

This is the path that, one way or another, everyone chooses. What choice did we have then? I’m talking now about a specific time, about the protests of 2012, about the Coordination Council of the Opposition, about all that euphoria. Since we said A, we should have said B, but, unfortunately, B didn’t work out. It was a command of our conscience and soul, but it’s not like we had a choice, it’s not like we were told: “Guys, don’t go there, and then you’ll work on Channel One.” We have never worked on Channel One, that’s the thing. Ksenia - yes, and she, of course, in this sense lost even more than us. Therefore, there is no need to say that we “could be like Ivan Urgant.” Well, on the STS channel we could be like Ivan Urgant. But I say again that then no one imagined that it would all end like this. Moreover, Vyacheslav Murugov ( CEO media holding "STS Media". - Approx. ed.) swore to us: “I will be the first to know about this. And you will be the first to whom I tell if something happens.”

- Something - what is it? The go-ahead to remove Shats and Lazareva from the screen?

Yes. And then they simply quietly closed the program “This is My Child” under the pretext that it was not rated. And they told Mikhail: “Well, I’m sorry, everything is fine with you, you come to the shooting, but... there will be no filming. And also come to work.” And he comes to work, and they tell him: “Sign here, please.” This is a termination of the contract. That is, absolutely quiet and without incidents. Well, yes, Ivan Urgant is wonderful, he does a lot. But everyone forgets that, generally speaking, there should have been 25 people like Urgant. And there should have been five of these shows per week, about the same. Then there would be competition, and then no one would say: “Why is Ivan Urgant alone?” This is the same field cleaning, the same asphalt concreting. If not Urgant, then who? That's a cat.

Surely everyone knows who he is Mikhail Shats. His funny jokes, a funny smile and laughter have delighted us for many years in the O.S.P.-Studio program. But who does Mikhail work now, because he is practically invisible on television.

It’s hard to believe, but Mikhail is an anesthesiologist and resuscitator by training, who worked in his specialty for 6 years. His sense of humor and ability to amuse others began to appear during his participation in KVN, where he was a member of the institute team for eight years.

He began acting in entertainment programs on television in 1995, receiving overwhelming success with the public. He worked in many projects - after O.S.P.-Studio it was “Spite the Records”, “33 square meters", "Good jokes", etc. In 2010, Mikhail became a producer of special projects on STS, but since 2013 he has stopped interacting with the channel in any way.

Today Mikhail is engaged in slightly different activities. First of all, he maintains close cooperation with the “Creation” charitable foundation, with which he has not parted for 15 years. In addition, Mikhail Shats, together with like-minded people and his family, is trying to reorganize public utilities into own home. It also takes a lot of effort, time and energy.

As for television activities, he did not completely abandon it either. Today he runs his own sports and entertainment channel on YouTube, which occupies a leading position in Runet.

The comedian recalls that dismissal from STS TV channel was very quick and unexpected, he was simply given to sign papers, reading which, he understood that this was the end of his work at STS. But, unable to do anything about it, he began to look for other ways to keep busy, develop his talent and humorous gift.

Remembering his work at STS, Mikhail notes that at that time he was simply “on fire” with jokes, going crazy from the laughter of those around him, from the fact that they understood and perfectly accepted the works he wrote. Today, Mikhail feels that all this is just a thing of the past, that now he wants to do something else. Of course, humor has not disappeared from his life, but now it is only for his own pleasure, and not for making money.

According to Mikhail, in life from work he needs the demand and love of others, because it is extremely important to be needed by others. He feels this very well at the charity foundation. Mikhail often said in his interviews that while working at Constellation, he seemed to cleanse his soul, help others find happiness, and lend a helping hand to everyone in need. He feels how great it is, and what a strong return it comes from in the form of happy faces.

The comedian devotes a lot of time to his family - Tatyana Lazareva and children. As before, he is interested in politics, sports, and the search for new inspiring things that will bring, first of all, pleasure and joy, and only then financial well-being.

51-year-old TV presenter Tatyana Lazareva no longer lives with her husband, 53-year-old comedian and TV presenter Mikhail Shats. The star spoke about the breakup in an interview channel“What about talking?” on YouTube.

Now Tatyana lives in the Spanish city of Marbella with her daughter Sonya. Lazareva explained why she made this decision: “I said: “That’s it, I can’t do it anymore.” I don’t have a job there, and I don’t have a job here, so I’d rather be here.”

Mikhail decided to stay in Moscow. “It so happened that he and I are living some kind of new life separately,” Tatyana admitted.

The TV presenter was experiencing severe depression. “Last summer I really wanted to hang myself. Olympus, which we had in everything... And the creative union is very powerful. We worked with him, lived with him, we felt very comfortable,” recalls Lazareva.

It was hard for Tatyana to live outside her comfort zone: “We were brought up in such a way that you have a profession for life, a marriage for life, we even had an apartment for life.” The TV presenter noted that she sees no point in a golden wedding if the spouses “live a parallel life.”

“He has his own story, and it’s cool for him, I have mine, and it’s cool for me too,” said the star. Despite the separation, Tatyana considers Mikhail a member of her family: “This is the most close person for me, and I certainly do for him too.”

Let us remember that Tatyana Lazareva and Mikhail Shats began dating in 1998. In 2011, the couple legalized their relationship. The couple are raising three children - 23-year-old son Stepan, 20-year-old daughter Sonya and 12-year-old daughter Antonina.

Previously, Tatyana Lazareva admitted that she suffers from ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel disease): “I was diagnosed in 2014. Now I understand that there is no need to be ashamed of this disease. The problem won’t go away if you pretend it doesn’t exist.”

The TV presenter frankly answered questions from the general director of the Dozhd TV channel.

In a conversation with the general director of the TV channel, he emphasized that he had not broken up with Tatyana, although they family life really changed a lot - wife with youngest daughter now lives in Spain, and Mikhail remains in Moscow.

"Tanya wants intkbbach to live there... I want to live here, because I am more satisfied with the dynamism of this city. Some of the opportunities it provides. I’m bored there,” Schatz said.

According to the celebrity, serious changes in his and Tatyana’s life began after they lost their jobs.

“It was both business and creativity. All together. It held us together as one whole. And then it all collapsed. And we were each left with the feeling that something needed to be changed, and something new needed to be done. And in In this sense, each of us decided to do something different,” he explained.

Schatz explained that after his harsh dismissal from the STS television channel, a “emptiness” came in his life, which he first partially filled with work on the NTV+ channel. Then he went to the Olympics, and upon his return “Ukraine began,” after which he “received a shaft to the head” for a post on Facebook.

For the entire time after his dismissal, he received only two job offers - from the now serving ex-governor Kirov region Nikita Belykh and the editor-in-chief of the radio station "Echo of Moscow" Alexey Venediktov. According to Mikhail, he is immensely grateful to them for this. However, Schatz rejected both proposals, since both options were “not for us.”

Mikhail also recalled his recent meeting with Sergei Svetlakov, because of which he experienced the “last burnout” of his “painful passion” associated with returning to television. According to him, not so long ago the STS channel decided to return to its air the show “Thank God, you came!”, which Shats hosted for 4 years. According to him, the updated release does not mention his last name anywhere, which, of course, greatly hurt the TV presenter.

“I’m flying out of Sheremetyevo and suddenly I meet Svetlakov at the door (one of the producers of the show “Thank God, you’ve come!” - editor’s note). We said hello and even hugged. He says: “Mish, I’ve been wanting to call you for a long time - there was no phone." I answer him: “Well, what are you talking about!” I dictate the phone. He dials me, and “Mikhail Shats” is displayed,” he recalls.
