American black comedians. American comedians: the best of the best

“Stand-up” (show): participants

The idea of creating the program belongs to Yulia Akhmedova and Ruslan Bely. Former KVN players turned to the management of the TNT channel, and they met them halfway. In the fall of 2013, viewers saw the first episode of the humorous program.

The stand-up show participants are young, bright and talented people. Many of them at one time participated in KVN. They have an amazing sense of humor and natural charm. Who are these people? Let's take a closer look at them.

Ruslan Bely - “eternal bachelor”

The creator and presenter was born on December 28, 1979 in Prague. He was raised in a military family. In this regard, mom, dad and Ruslan often changed their place of residence. About 15 years ago the family finally settled in Voronezh. Father dreamed that son will go in his footsteps. At first it was like that. Ruslan graduated from the Military Aviation Engineering University and served in the army. But then the guy realized that his main calling was the stage. Our hero became interested in playing KVN. He was a member of the Voronezh team “Seventh Heaven”. Ruslan Bely appeared in humorous programs broadcast on the TNT channel. Among them are “Laughter without Rules” and “Slaughter League”.

The personal life of Ruslan Bely resembles a roller coaster. It consists of ups and sharp downs. A talkative and smiling guy easily meets girls. He has experience living together with representatives of the opposite sex. But all of Ruslan’s relationships were short-lived. He is still in bachelor status.

Yulia Akhmedova - “a lady in active search”

The first and so far only girl in the show. The rest are male participants. “Stand-up” allowed Yulia to realize her creative ambitions.

She was born on November 28, 1982 in the Kyrgyz city of Kant. Her father is a purebred Azerbaijani. In 1999, Yulia arrived in Voronezh, where she entered the local university. As a student, Akhmedova began playing in KVN. In 2005, the girl finally moved to Moscow and began developing her humorous career. Julia is the author of scripts for the series “Univer” and the show “Comedy Woman”.

From the stage, Stand Up talks about how hard it is for a girl without a man’s shoulder. Her monologues often voice topics such as losing weight, finding a soul mate, cheating, and so on. Many viewers are sure that the girl does not invent anything, but takes stories from her own life.

On this moment Yulia Akhmedova's heart is free. She herself is in search of her soulmate.

Stas Starovoitov - “an exemplary family man”

Born on October 11, 1982 in a small village in the Tomsk region. Like many stand-up show participants, he participated in KVN during his student days. Then Starovoitov conquered Laughter Without Rules (TNT) three times. In 2013, he became a regular participant in the Stand Up program.

In his speeches Stanislav often talks about family life, raising his daughter Mashenka and relationships with his beloved wife Marina.

Ivan Abramov - “intellectual”

He was born in Vologda. Ivan has Jewish roots. At one time, Abramov performed in KVN as part of the Parapaparam team. Since 2013, the guy has been using various musical instruments. Ivan is married and has a little daughter.

Timur Karginov - “Caucasian”

Born in 1984 in the Republic of North Ossetia. I always dreamed of becoming famous actor or TV presenter. From 2006 to 2010 he played in KVN as part of the Pyramid team. In “Stand-Up,” Timur talks about the difficult life of Caucasians in Moscow.

Dmitry Romanov - “sad clown”

An Odessa resident with Jewish roots tells funny stories in a peculiar manner. And even if all the people in the hall were rolling on the floor laughing, he would calmly watch it.

Slava Komissarenko - “cheerful Belarusian”

A charming guy, 2 meters tall, could become a basketball star. But back in high school, he realized that he wanted to make people laugh. In “Stand-up” Komissarenko found his niche. The guy talks about how a Belarusian can survive in Moscow, meet a girl and maintain a relationship.

Finally

We talked about those who create Stand-Up Comedy. Participants in this program are listed in the article. Now you know the details of their biography and personal life. Let's wish this cheerful guys creative success and family happiness!

December 22, 2015, 15:39

For reference: Stand Up is a domestic show in which guys perform in the genre of conversational humor. At the moment, 3 full seasons have been released.
Almost all the participants are former KVN players, they have known each other for a very long time, some had already worked with someone else before the project, some worked directly on the channel, so there are literally a couple of people “from the street”. Well, it’s clear that all the stories that are told from the stage are exaggerated, specially embellished and written for the viewer.

Ruslan Bely(Creative Producer show and host).

Former KVN player (team "Seventh Heaven"), 35 years old, unmarried. Born in Prague, Ruslan’s family lived in Poland for some time, then moved to Voronezh. Constantly appears in humorous programs on the TNT channel. His father is a former military man (which Bely himself spoke about more than once on stage), so the son had to follow in his father’s footsteps and take up military career, but got carried away by KVN and all military history faded away. He jokes mainly for a male audience, most often complaining about women and their huge requests that he does not want (or cannot) fulfill. It’s the monologues about women that are tense; Ruslan’s resentment is too obvious. A little less anger and rudeness and everything would be great. In Bely’s interviews (in those that I read), there is no misogyny; he reasons and speaks quite adequately.

Yulia Akhmedova(Creative producer of the show).

Former member of the KVN team "25th". 33 years old, unmarried. She was born in Kyrgyzstan (the city of Kant), then moved to Voronezh. If Ruslan jokes for men, then Yulia’s humor is purely feminine, about the “hard lot” of unmarried ladies, a little (or a lot) feminist. Overall not bad, but sometimes a bit boring.

Slava Komissarenko

Minsk KVN player, stand-up comedian, screenwriter. Not married, has a girlfriend. Before the show, he participated in several comedy programs. He often talks about his lady love and talks about relationships between men and women. It’s very difficult for me to remember Slava’s unsuccessful monologue over all the seasons, I remembered and remembered, but I couldn’t remember. He jokes easily, cheerfully and kindly, even when he talks about the fact that his beloved loves to swell)

Alena, Slava's girl

Victor Komarov

Moskvich, married (I didn’t find anything about Vitya’s wife except what was indicated marital status on social networks). By education, he is a security systems engineer. Before Stand-up, he traveled with his performances to different cities of the country, finalist of the show " Comedy Battle". Like Slava, he most often talks about himself, girls, funny situations. I also can’t remember any unsuccessful monologues from Victor. One of my favorites, I always look forward to his appearance on stage. It’s a very cool, fun and funny story, in my opinion. By communicating with people in social networks adequate, kind and cheerful.

Dmitry Romanov

Born in Odessa. Married. Ukrainian KVN player, stand-up comedian, screenwriter and actor. He often talks about himself, his life, his friends and his girlfriend (wife). Dmitry’s “Jewish” humor suits my mood personally, so sometimes I skip his monologues, but they, I must say, are not bad.

With wife Christina

Stas Starovoitov

Born in Tomsk. Married, has a daughter. Participated in regional festivals Comedy club. He participated several times in the show “Laughter Without Rules.” Stas talks about family life, without anger, complaints or whining. Everything is great.

Wife Marina

Nurlan Saburov

Kazakh, 24 years old, married, has a child. In addition to stand-up, he hosts events. He talks to the audience as if they were Mr., impudently and arrogantly. He often jokes about (his) nationality, quite harshly and caustically. For me, it’s very cool, at least the presentation of the material to the audience is memorable. The image of a narcissistic g****k holds 100%.

With wife Diana

Ivan Abramov

29 years old, born in Volgograd, then the family moved to Odintsovo. "meticulous MGIMO specialist"), former captain KVN team "Parapaparam", in 2013 the team officially stopped playing. By profession - economist. He is married to Elvira Gismatullina (KVN team "Seven Hills"), whom he has met since 2008; a daughter was born in 2014. The most intelligent and musical participant Stand-up) If in KVN he irritated me a little, then here Vanya is one of the best, everything is fine.

With his wife Elvira

Timur Karginov

Not married, seems to have a girlfriend. Former KVN player (team "Pyramid") Caucasian, 99% of all his monologues are based on this. Adequate, intelligent, calm, tactful. In general, a pleasant Timur. Sometimes he jokes very cheerfully, but overall it’s pretty flat.

Ivan Usovich

Minsk resident, 22 years old, student. There is no specific topic for jokes, he jokes for everyone and about a little bit of everything. Most likely in strength of age and presentation of material, humor is light and relaxed. Nice boy))

When the Comedy Club was still walking under the table, American stand-up stars were already filling stadiums and having sex no less often than Mick Jagger. But even after the death of such monsters as Richard Pryor and George Carlin, the genre is still alive and well. WNS compiled a hit parade of the 10 funniest modern stand-up comedians.

10.

Who it: A very energetic Irishman. O'Brien is called Britain's most beloved Irishman: he constantly hosts various TV shows, stars in TV series and regularly releases concert programs, drawing full houses. One of Dara’s main tricks is communicating with the audience, and for every line from the audience he is able to instantly come up with two or three jokes, a sketch or a small one-man show.
What's good: Improvisation.
Fact: Unlike many comedians who are completely focused on their profession, Dara took the time to graduate from college. So he's the funniest graduate theoretical physicist ever.

“If you seriously think that God created you exactly the way you are, I highly recommend looking at yourself in the mirror after your morning shower. This is the same author who created sunsets and mountain peaks - what a bad day he had if at the same time he decided to create this too!”

“Once you become a Catholic, there is no way to stop being one. Even a lack of faith in God is not considered a valid reason to leave the ranks of Catholics. You can join the Taliban - and still the most you will get is the status of a “bad Catholic”.

9.

“I remember my parents’ family quarrels: dad holding a chair, mom swinging an ax...”

"If you're old enough to buy beer but your mom still makes you breakfast, you're banned from the boys' club as of today."

8.

Who it: Blonde with an accent. It's difficult, of course, to take seriously a man who barely caught Windows 95, but in the case of Daniel Sloss this is not necessary: the 22-year-old Scot has already established himself as a promising comedian. While his peers are making wisecracks on the Internet, Sloss is writing full-length performance scripts. His first set lasted only five minutes, but was liked by both the audience and the critics. At the moment, the guy is considered one of the most promising young stand-up artists, so it’s worth remembering his name.
What's good: He is old enough to be the son of most famous stand-up comedians, and therefore fits well into the image of the “voice of the new generation.”
Fact: I entered the history department, but abandoned my studies in favor of stand-up and, it seems, I was right.

“Nature hates me. Every time we meet, she tries to kill me. There's nothing like this at home in Scotland, Live nature there – it’s a gopher at most.”

"I don't tell sex stories because of my appearance. If I start talking about my relationship, it will look like testimony in court."

“I didn’t start drinking rum and juice because I was questioning my sexuality. I watch my figure. I know I sounded like a 16-year-old girl right now.”

7. Dylan Moran

Who it: Famous Irish actor, screenwriter and stand-up comedian without the slightest signs of stardom. On stage he usually looks like he has just been pulled out of bed. Moran's first performances took place while still in school, and at the age of 24 he became the youngest winner of the Perrier Comedy Award. But real popularity came to Moran in 2000, when television aired the first season of the sitcom “Black’s Bookshop.” The image of Bernard Black, a sarcastic Irish misanthrope with a mass bad habits, has become so ingrained in the comedian that it still appears in his live performances.
What's good: Intellectual jokes, a good reaction and developed imagination, and also the fact that, unlike other comedians, he went to Russia with concerts.
Fact: In his youth, he got a job as a florist, and did this backbreaking slave labor for a whole week.

“I’m a vegetarian, but not a strict one. You see, I like to eat meat, but only because I like the taste.
In my opinion, morally I won.”

“But there were times when a man was a man. He could, without hesitation, express his authoritative opinion on an issue that he did not understand at all.”

6.

Who it: A witty artist and a good actor. And yes, he is a transvestite. Izzard has a surprisingly harmonious stage image and amazing charisma, so that even the most conservative homophobes forget after a minute that they are looking at a bearded man in a dress. Most often, Izzard's performances are compared to a Monty Python show, and even one of the band members, John Cleese, acknowledged this similarity. In an hour and a half on stage, the stand-up artist plays so many roles that it would be enough for four, transforming himself into a dog, a tractor, a god, and parodies different voices and accents and does not allow the audience to be distracted for a second. They say that at the beginning of his career, performing on the street, he attracted more spectators than the fire that happened nearby.
What's good: Healthy self-irony and the ability to play several roles simultaneously.
Fact: On stage, Eddie most often works without a script, although he is the author of the super popular British sitcom “Ideal” about a good-for-nothing huckster from Manchester.

"During puberty, you think, 'I want to date.
with someone, I want to look great!” And Mother Nature to you
in response: “Nah, you'll look worse than ever
In my life".

5.

Who it: Paradox Man. The "underground" English stand-up artist Stuart Lee, despite all his intelligence, has quite a scandalous reputation. Encyclopedically well-read and well versed in history, art and philosophy, this comedian can afford to make fun of any problem. For example, in 2003, together with Richard Thomas, he wrote the musical “Jerry Springer: The Opera,” the production of which, in addition to success with the audience, resulted in a summons to court on charges of blasphemy.
What's good: Intelligent, but at the same time uncompromising humor.
Fact: Lee is ranked 41st on the list of the top 100 comedians of all time.

“You know those shows for young angry comedians? I'm not invited to them. There is a microphone in the center, and all the comedians run towards it. Whoever gets there first is the evil one.”

“What appeals to me most about Catholicism is that it combines the search for spiritual meaning and love for souvenirs.”

“Catholicism is my favorite form of world evil.”

4.

Who it: Provocateur and cynic. Namesake of the author of the best-selling book on quitting smoking and a true master short jokes. Essentially, his speeches consist of hundreds of short one-liners - offensive, provocative, cynical and extremely frank. Carr loves to mock his viewers. Anyone who buys a ticket to his show should be prepared for shock therapy. It feels like there are absolutely no boundaries for Jimmy Carr. For example, speaking in Ireland, he might say to the audience: “I don’t know much about your politics, but I think we need a united Ireland!” And then, after waiting for jubilation and applause, add: “United under British rule.”
What's good: Makes people laugh, even if it makes them feel awkward.
Fact: Before taking up stand-up, Carr was a religious youth who maintained his virginity until he was 26, graduated with honors from Cambridge and successfully worked for a multinational corporation.

“It’s stupid to beat your wife. After all, this is YOUR wife. It’s like scratching your own car with a key.”

“Many people cry when they cut onions. This can be avoided: just don’t get so attached to him.”

3.

Who is she: Beautiful girl. Actress and composer Sarah Silverman looks like a typical “girl next door”, but she is charming, smart and sharp-tongued. She won the hearts of Americans back in the early 90s, when she took part in the project “Saturday Night in live" With a deliberately innocent expression on her face, she harshly ridicules racism, sexism and religion, while not mincing her words at all. Thanks to Sarah's melodious voice and big brown eyes, she can get away with even crude jokes that are not allowed on TV. Not long ago, Comedy Central launched Sarah's signature TV show, which is now airing on Russian version channel - Paramount Comedy.
What's good: Her jokes don't fit traditional performances about “women’s humor” and are sometimes quite cynical. Plus, she's just a joy to look at.
Fact: I met with another famous joker - Jimmy Kimmel. The couple broke up, but some good things still came out of their union - everyone laughed until they cried over the videos I'm F**king Matt Damon and I'm F**king Ben Affleck, shot by Sarah and Jimmy solely out of love trolling Internet.

2.

Who is he: An English comedian beloved by Americans. Some have accused Gervais of being arrogant, but after two Emmys, three Golden Globes and seven BAFTAs, he's entitled to any antics. Gervais is actively working on films and TV series (The Office, which was later remade by the Americans, brought him worldwide popularity). In stand-up, this comedian takes the position of a provocateur and jokes about religion, politics and social norms on the verge, and sometimes beyond the bounds of what is permitted. Ricky is an atheist, animal rights activist and a confirmed bachelor. It seems that he simply has an inhuman gift of persuasion, since he makes people laugh at what is sacred to them, and manages to date the same woman for 30 years without leading her down the aisle.
What's good: Everyone (as a comedian).
Fact: Became a character in the GTA game.

“I am with both hands for the eradication of hunger. Provided that it doesn’t affect me in any way.”

“No topics are taboo. There are bad jokes."

1.

Who it: A bearded middle-aged man, inclined to share with the audience such thoughts and observations that few would dare to voice even to a confessor. According to rumors, Louis made the decision to become a comedian at the age of seven. It is not known how everything really happened, but in general it creative biography can be called quite successful: at the moment, Szekely’s baggage includes five special shows for HBO, collaboration with Chris Rock, two of his own sitcoms and the unofficial title of the best American stand-up artist recent years. It's no secret that comedians often use facts from their own biography in their performances. Székely squared this frankness and built his programs on personal experiences. Marriage, divorce, children, sex, health problems - the comedian brings these topics to the public's attention, adding very frank details. His performances often go beyond the bounds of decency, but are completely devoid of aggression. He laughs at himself, and this sets him apart from all other artists.
What's good: Relieves fears of growing up and complexes about appearance. Looking at Székely, you understand that you can be red-haired, freckled, chubby, balding and forty-five years old - and still be very cool.
Fact: He spent the first seven years of his life in Mexico City.

“There's a reason they say 'girls go crazy' and not 'women go crazy'. When girls go crazy, they show their breasts to people. When grown women go crazy, they kill men.”

"You can find out how much you bad person, by how quickly you were able to masturbate after the tragic events of September 11th. In my case, this is the interval between the falls of the 1st and 2nd buildings.”

“My lunch ends not when I’m full and can’t fit in anymore, but when I start to hate myself.”

My list with brief explanations.

Doug Stanhope

Really great comedian. Both in presentation and content. Yes, the presentation is almost always cynical and harsh, but how do you want him to talk about people engaged in endless pointless bullshit, fighters against chin cancer, etc.?

And, the funny thing is, it’s very noticeable that he loves people much more than the always grumbling and dissatisfied old man Carlin. Everything is always wrong, they sit wrong, they look wrong. Here is an example of a completely different concern for people.

Friend of Johnny Depp and many underground figures. He looks hyper-convincing in the role of a drunk and drug addict. But in life it’s completely different.

Bill Burr

Both the themes and presentation are comical. It’s valuable what he talks about quite banal things that constantly surround us, but it’s interesting to listen to and he’s not interested in acting. What’s great about him is not his themes—almost all of them are banal—but his presentation.

“- How is it that there are no reasons to beat women? Yes, I have at least 17 reasons right now! I’m not saying that this SHOULD be done, but, my God, there are simply tons of reasons for this!”

George Carlin

I already said above that I am unpleasantly surprised by the number of fans he has, his constant grumbling and dissatisfaction is very annoying, there is zero humor, but his desire to teach how to live is through the roof, like most older people.

For a long time I thought that I was the only one who noticed this, but it turned out that he irritates quite a lot of people with his grumbling for the same reason. People generally like to get irritated beautifully, it’s easier than fixing everything or helping someone, yeah.

Jimmy Carr

Cool English comedian, aloof British delivery with a surprised, astonishing s x fools, looking down, the material is cynical and sharp. There is no point in describing it, you have to watch it. The humor is very assertive, it’s not Moran or Dara, where you have to wait for a joke like a tram, every 10 minutes.

Jim Jeffries

Almost all humor can be described like this: we had a great time getting drunk, then we farted and puked, took a shit and got drunk again."

It will probably appeal to children aged 14-17 and people of the same psychological age.

Joe Rogan

Definitely in the top 5 best comedians. Thank you great Rumble for translating and dubbing all his concerts. As well as most of the comedians listed here too.

Rogan is a former commentator and UFC fighter (ultimate fighting in a cage), a very cool guy. Simply top class. But understanding of his words, alas, often comes only after 30-35 years)

The humor, besides jokes about whores, jerking off and other intergender things, is mostly philosophical, about our role on the planet, Space, perception and much more.

Louis C.K.

Some people think he’s an excellent comedian and puts him on all the lists and tops; I got tired of him after 1-2 shows. Description of all creativity: I am the father of two beautiful daughters and now I will tell you how I drink whiskey and eat cakes and fatty foods when they are not there.

The main theme is “family” humor, although there are a lot of his videos on the tube with other topics, but the shows often consist almost ENTIRELY of the “fat and redhead” whining about how women don’t like him and “oh, how funny that is.” Tired of it after 2 shows.

If Stanhope I rewatched each special, well... probably 7-8 times, but here even 1 time is depressingly monotonous.

True, I also watched his series, “Louis”, there is a much wider palette of humor, but this topic is also constantly looming before my nose. So sign up for the gym and stop whining, watch your nutrition, damn it. I don’t like this romanticization of squalor and looseness of mind and body.

Isn't it a good thing? Rogan.

Chris Rock

Everyone knows him for his roles in films, primarily for the role of a transvestite in The Fifth Element, as well as the role of the 13th, black, apostle in Dogma, and so on.

The acting is through the roof, very cool, a born actor. The content is typical black humor. The same Kevin Hart or Eddie Murphy, 30 years later. But it's funny, really funny.

Dara O Brian

Brief description of all concerts: A sly glance into the hall. This comedian walks around throughout the entire concert with a sly look, handing out “advances.” The look tells us “oh, now I’m joking!” I didn't get a single joke. All the “humor” is almost entirely devoted to making fun of the difference between the British, Scots and Irish, in various combinations. If this may seem funny to someone, I won’t interfere.

Richard Herring

Unexpectedly cool. Why unexpected? I don’t know, somehow I didn’t like him right away, he was obviously so eager to please. But then I appreciated it, appreciated it. The humor is of very good quality, quite soft, but, unlike those listed above, really funny. A lot of anti-religious spirit Mara, but Herring, IMHO, is better, takes it and covers the topic more broadly and more “humorously” or something. The description of the everyday life of the son of the Director of the Gymnasium was touching. Racing with Christ on bicycles, however, too.

Myself Bill Mar more of a satirist and “social” journalist than a comedian. Or a joking correspondent, you can call it that. The humor is not assertive, but rather soft, with a mocking "didn't you know that?)"

I also recommend watching his film. "Religious"2008, translated and voiced by the same magnificent Rumble, what would we do without it.

Of the very little-known artists, I highly recommend checking them out Whitney Cummings(at first I thought it was a pseudonym, well, such a surname is too much)). It turned out to be hers.

Withy is multifaceted. The performance itself seemed monotonous to me at first; I watched it and forgot about it. Honestly, she was hooked by her appearance, she was very beautiful.

I went to dig for more things with her. And it turned out that our Whitey is not only an actress, but also produced several serial shows and wrote scripts herself. Series " Whitney"I recommend it to everyone. I even wrote a review of it on Kinopoisk :)

Whitney is sooo cool. Her second serial project, also quite widely known in Russia, is "2 broke girls", "Two broke girls". I advise you to watch the F-Train in translation, it is incomparable, but you need to get used to it.

And also Chris Delia. He's a comedian, he acted with Cummings, I watched their concerts in different time separately, and then unexpectedly saw them in the same series. But a concert is a completely different matter. The themes are also, like Burr’s, quite banal, and the acting is also cool.

And finally, Reginald Hunter with a soft, intelligent black humor. It's rare, yes. He has 2 or 3 specials, all excellent.

For Ukrainian viewers raised at KVN, the popular genre of stand-up, where artists perform solo, actively improvise and communicate with the audience, remains something exotic. But not for fans of Irishman Dylan Moran. The always disheveled and hungover grump from the series Black Books, who is invariably included in the ratings of the most popular stand-up artists, tomorrow with his show Yeah! Yeah! Before his tour, website has collected 10 of her favorite representatives of the genre from which Woody Allen, Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey once grew.

Aziz Ansari

One of the youngest members of the list today is also one of the most popular stand-up comedians in the United States. Despite his name, Aziz has lived in the States since birth and does not even speak with his trademark Indian accent. However, his arsenal of jokes mainly consists of monologues about racism, Indians, and black rappers. Stand-up fame gave him a ticket to American TV and to Hollywood: today he is one of the main characters in the popular TV series “Parks and Recreation”, voicing a cartoon glacial period 4.

________________________________________________________________________________

George Carlin

When we talk about modern stand-up, in most cases we mean George Carlin. It’s hard to say that he is no longer with us, but there are at least thousands of videos of his performances on YouTube with millions of views. This brutally honest American loved to joke about his compatriots, religion, sex, gays, blacks, throwing more and more famous substances at the fan. Once his speech was even examined in the US Supreme Court.

________________________________________________________________________________

Louis C.K.

Louis, like George Carlin, is a child of the city. He was born in Washington, and spent his childhood in the capital of Mexico. I was raised in a multicultural family, where there seems to be blood from all continents. Maybe that’s why C.K., without hesitation, jokes about any topic that is taboo in the United States: racism, gays, feminism, equality, etc.

________________________________________________________________________________

Eddie Izzard

The most unusual of our ten comedians for his performances, as a rule, dresses up in women's clothing. This is not just a British sacrifice for success: he really is a transvestite. Eddie always asks not to be confused with gays because he likes women and calls himself a lesbian man. Izzard, like everyone else stand-up comedians, takes the stage without a strict script. But in this respect, Eddie is generally unique: he suffers from dyslexia, because the comedian simply cannot remember anything longer than three sentences. The artist uses the stream of consciousness method. I must say, a very intelligent and devastatingly funny stream.

________________________________________________________________________________

Russell Peters

The first and last name, which is completely ordinary for a Canadian, is apparently an attempt by Russell’s parents, Indian emigrants, to hide his origin and make life easier for the child. However, Peters now constantly emphasizes his origins on stage. His best monologues are those where he ridicules various racial and cultural stereotypes, and also makes fun of the accent, principles and practices in his family. All this together makes it the most popular modern master stand-up: a few years ago Russell Peters gave concerts in halls where more than 10 thousand spectators watched him.

________________________________________________________________________________

Dave Chappelle

The first black comedian on our list, more than others, has the moral right to joke about his skin brothers, which he succeeds in doing. Added to all this is banter about pop culture, politics, white people, and monologues about drugs. Chappelle is a welcome guest at ceremonies and tours of the most famous US rappers. The great '70s comedian Richard Pryor, who died in 2005, once named him his heir.

________________________________________________________________________________

Chris Rock

Chris Rock likes to joke about the same topics as Chappelle, Carlin and Pryor in his speeches. He is, however, distinguished by his particular eccentricity and energy on stage. He also added small roles in films to his stand-up career, participated in television shows, and in 2005, Rock successfully hosted the Oscar ceremony.

________________________________________________________________________________

Robin Williams

Williams is widely known today as a renowned actor, but even now he sometimes continues to appear on stage, giving live solo performances. Contrary to his often very phlegmatic film characters, Robin is a real hurricane on stage.

________________________________________________________________________________

Jim carrey

In order to understand how one of the best comedians of the 90s got into big cinema, you only need to look once at the recording of his live performance. Kerry made his way to Hollywood through stand-up comedy, and he spent it on solo career in clubs for more than 10 years before he was called to appear in the film.

________________________________________________________________________________

Dylan Moran

The Irishman, who became widely popular after the sitcom Black Books or Black Books was released. There he plays himself as viewers usually see him during stand-ups: a disheveled misanthrope, a grouch who constantly drinks wine and smokes cigarettes one after another.
