Who is among the celebrities buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery? Vagankovskoe cemetery Monuments to celebrities at Novodevichy

Recently, majestic tombstones have appeared on the graves of several national favorites. And although an amount approximately equal to the cost of a one-room apartment in Moscow was spent on the manufacture of each of those monuments, which we will talk about today, one thing is clear: our love for Vyacheslav TIKHONOV, VLAD GALKIN, Alexander LAZAREV, Vladimir TURCHINSKY, who passed away, is priceless. ...
On the actor's alley of the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow, where Vlad Galkin rests, on June 28, the long-awaited monument to the actor was unveiled. The sudden death of 38-year-old Vladislav, who died three and a half years ago, shocked the whole country. It makes no sense to remind now of the tragic circumstances. That week, when Galkin was seen off on his last journey, his last work was shown - a series about Grigory Kotovsky. At first glance, it seems that it was in the image of the legendary divisional commander that the actor was immortalized in a bronze sculpture installed on the grave. Near a stone block sits little Huckleberry Finn. This mischievous future popular artist played at the very beginning of his career.

Vlad and Dasha were a beautiful couple
The secret was revealed by the author of the monument - artist and sculptor Vladimir Usov, creator of the monument to Yuri Gagarin in the city of Nicosia, Cyprus: - It took a year to work. The compositional solution came out pretty quickly. The customers were Vlad's parents - Boris Sergeevich and Elena Petrovna. They asked to make only a sculpture of the boy Huck, but I was able to convince them that we are making a monument not to the hero of Mark Twain's novel, but to Vlad himself. Without excluding the child's figure, I suggested sculpting the late Galkin himself, and not at all an actor in the image of Kotovsky. So we got such a two-figure composition - a boy sitting near a stone, and Vlad, standing next to it. Such a philosophical circle. In my opinion, this is a good decision, revealing the artist's image. According to the idea of the sculptor USOV, the monument to the main "trucker" of the country symbolizes the philosophical circle of his life: from a child-actor to a superstar
Fundraising for the monument to Vlad began immediately after his death. Then, surrounded by the family, they were gossiping that, trying to find money, the parents asked his wife, actress Daria Mikhailova, with whom the deceased had not recently lived, but did not manage to file a divorce, to sell the car. The car was presented to Dasha by Vladislav. Allegedly, Elena Petrovna and Boris Sergeevich knew that shortly before his death, their son gave Mikhailova $ 45 thousand for safekeeping - part of the fee for one of the last films. But Mikhailova refused to part with the car and even return this money. The Galkins opened an account so that fans could transfer donations to the monument. “After the funeral, we found several messages on the Internet about opening accounts for the monument to Vlad,” Boris Galkin explained then. - It became clear that this was the work of crooks. People could give their money to some unknown person and lose it forever. Therefore, we were forced with the Union of Cinematographers to open the only official account for the monument to our son.
Before that, Lena and I received some strange calls, offered cash. I said it was out of the question. In a word, we posted information on the union's website to block the possible emergence of new accounts from crooks and unauthorized fundraising ...
Who else provided financial assistance to the family and whether Mikhailova decided to do her bit is still a mystery. “Boris Sergeevich personally paid all the expenses,” says the sculptor Usov. - By the way, another sculptor worked on the monument before me, but the contract with him was terminated. Relatives came to the opening, Boris Sergeevich, Elena Petrovna, but I did not see Daria Mikhailova.
We will remind, recently it became known that Boris Galkin broke up with Vlad's mother and married the singer Inna Razumikhina, who is younger than him by a quarter of a century. But the noble people's artist, even after the divorce, did not stop supervising the work on perpetuating the memory of Vlad, the son of his ex-wife, whom he adopted as a boy, raised and brought to the people.
The headstone is made in the old Russian style
Lazarevsky churchyard

Not far from the grave of Galkin, People's Artist of Russia Alexander Lazarev is buried, who died on May 2, 2011 at his dacha at the age of 74. The monument to Alexander Sergeevich was ready in spring, on the second anniversary of his death. But the long winter prevented the installation of the tombstone in time. When the snowdrifts melted, a lot of water accumulated on the actor's alley at the Troyekurovsky cemetery. I had to wait until the earth dries up. - On June 18, relatives, artists of the Mayakovsky Theater and our chief director gathered and unveiled a monument made of black diabase, ”shared the master's widow, actress Svetlana Nemolyaeva. - Sasha is a Petersburger, and after consulting with my son, I decided that it would be a Russian Orthodox tombstone, similar to the monument to Dostoevsky in the Alexander Nevsky Lavra.

LAZAREV and NEMOLYAEVA: only death could separate them
According to Nemolyaeva, the idea to perpetuate the memory of her husband with just such a monument came when she was visiting the Northern capital.

I met my last wife Tamara TIKHONOV at the scoring of the French film "Man and Woman" - I walked around the laurel and met a guide who showed me the oldest burial places, - the actress continues. - It turned out that Peter the Great allocated a place for this churchyard for famous people. And it is called very symbolic for us - Lazarevsky. In honor of Saint Lazarus. The guide gave me a book that tells about all the monuments. Then, together with our son Sasha, we carefully studied the photographs of the tombstones and chose one of them for Alexander Sergeevich. The monument turned out to be very expensive. But they helped us with the money in the Mikhail Ulyanov Foundation, which is headed by his daughter Elena, in the Union of Theater Workers under the leadership of Sasha Kalyagin and, of course, in our native Mayakovsky Theater. Many thanks to all, without them we would not have coped. The sculptor Andrey Balashov listened to our wishes and made all the architectural calculations. So this monument is a joint collective work.

Tamara Ivanovna is proud of her grandchildren - twins Slava and Gosha People's Artist of the USSR died of a heart attack on December 4, 2009, and until recently, a tombstone did not appear on his grave at the Novodevichy cemetery. Colleagues began to ring all the bells, discussing the annoying fact at every corner. Tikhonov's widow, Tamara Ivanovna, in response, complained to the press that the sculptor Alexei Blagovestny blinded such that she was in shock. In addition, the pensioner complained, the 4 million rubles allocated by the government for the monument seem to have evaporated. The talkative woman admitted that not everything is in order in her family. They say that the work is supervised by her daughter Anya and son-in-law Nikolai. The son-in-law allegedly does not work, but receives money for selling video materials from Tikhonov's archive, moreover, after drinking, he raised his hand to his mother-in-law. In short, the guard! And now the monument to Tikhonov was opened to the tune from "Seventeen Moments of Spring" and in the presence of all relatives and many colleagues.

Daughter and son-in-law of "Shtirlitsa": actress Anna TIKHONOVA and her husband - director Nikolai VORONOVSKY
The master, who reworked his creation several times, in the final version showed the favorite of millions of viewers in his most recognizable role - Stirlitz. And behind the figure of the legendary actor, he blinded a bizarre relief based on the famous story "The Adoration of the Magi", which depicts three dozen biblical characters, the central of which was the Mother of God and the Child. Vyacheslav Vasilyevich, in the form of a Soviet intelligence officer, seems to come out to meet fans from the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci. At the opening ceremony it turned out that the sculptural composition was cast in Italy and it cost not 4, but as much as 5 million rubles. The late actor's daughter, Anna, admitted, I am grateful to Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Mashkov and sponsors for their help in installing the monument. Tikhonov's widow did not make speeches, and those present did not understand whether she was now happy with the result or not. But it was obvious: Tamara Ivanovna was glad that her twin grandchildren - Gosha and Slava - were nearby. The latter, by the way, was named after the great grandfather.
Many people liked the monument to Vyacheslav Vasilyevich In the footsteps of his dad, Actor, showman, TV presenter and athlete Vladimir Turchinsky, who died of a heart attack at the end of 2009 at the age of 46, was buried in a cemetery in the village of Voskresenskoye near Moscow. “Dynamite” lived in a country house with his wife and little daughter in the neighboring village of Pashukovo. “Due to my age, I did not work on the monument to my son,” said 80-year-old Nina Turchinskaya, the mother of the deceased. - The work was supervised by Irochka, Volodin's wife. The money was collected by the whole world: part of it was given by us, family, part - friends, part - in my opinion, Nikita Mikhalkov's fund.
TURCHINSKY wore his wife Irina in his arms. And the British won. I buried my husband and son, now they are lying side by side (Turchinsky rested next to his stepfather. - G. U.). When Volodya died, so much mud was poured on his wife Ira, I don't know how she endured everything. I have a wonderful daughter-in-law, she treats me wonderfully. Now she has moved to Moscow and lives in a new apartment. An intelligent and beautiful woman, she is still lonely, but she will definitely meet a good person. Many look after her, woo her. She is not just Volodya's widow, but she represents a lot of herself: two higher educations, a Moscow champion in fitness. Xenia's granddaughter is now 13 years old. Like her parents, she is an athlete. Now in Kerch at the training camp.

The grave of "Dynamite" is strikingly different from the modest neighboring burials at the churchyard in the village of Voskresenskoye near Moscow. The opening of a tombstone stylized as a Colosseum, a circus arena or a stage - everything that TURCHINSKY lived for, took place on September 2, 2012.

Accidentally wandered into the site “Virtual cemetery. The graves of celebrities. " There is nothing new in this - in Ying-those there have long been necropolises and graveyards, arranged by inconsolable relatives for their loved ones, relatives and friends, there are even necropolises for pets - beloved but deceased dogs, cats, birds ...

The organizer of this site launched a project dedicated to domestic celebrities, and began to replenish the bank at the expense of the materials sent.

I downloaded a dozen photographs of writers' graves ...

Among them

Prigov Dmitry Alexandrovich (1940-2007)

Like everything in this fanfare-mediocre infantile-avant-garde get-together, the message about the funeral of D.A. Prigov on Grani.Ru begins with LIES.

Clowns and clownwomen, clowns and clowns (right?), Graphomaniacs and graphomanesses, inhabitants of a territory swollen with money and tears in the middle of a devastated country bounded by the Moscow Ring Road, members of the "avant-garde" nomenclature crowd - SOROKIN, EROFEEV, RUBINSHTEIN.

It was as if the writers of poetry and prose came, as it were, to the funeral, having detached themselves from their own affairs.

But the death of the person and the funeral turned out to be real.

Eternal memory to God's servant Demetrius! ..

The text on the page of D.A. Prigov ends with information from the series "This is interesting!":

«… D. Prigov became the FIRST DEATH IN THE LAST 80 years, who was buried in the cemetery of the Donskoy Monastery with a GRAVE INTO THE EARTH, since 1927 only urns with ashes were buried there».

I wonder what the writer himself would have said about this? ..

I would have to say something witty. And I would have folded a rhyme.

(Forgive me, God, sinner).

Amen.

Some clever boy (girl?) On the site of the "Virtual Cemetery" sketched a note about D.A. Prigov:

“… Dmitry Prigov is perceived as a postmodern poet, called an artist, but, in my subjective opinion, he is a phenomenon, a phenomenon of“ tusovka culture ”, a myth created not even by himself. Everything that Dmitry Prigov did was a game, a performance, and his texts and paintings were just instruments of "cultural shocking". In my opinion, all this was funny, curious, but had nothing to do with art, although, perhaps, his work helped someone.
D.A. Prigov on July 16, 2007, buried in Moscow, at the Donskoy cemetery (3rd academic). The funeral took place on July 20, 2007 "

Telling your interlocutors about visiting a cemetery as a sightseeing, very often you see surprise and alertness in the eyes. How, instead of magnificent estates, museums and art galleries, you wandered among the graves and admired the beauty, decoration, admired sculptural compositions ?!

Indeed, it does not look like a standard piece of architecture and art, but how much you can see and learn when you find yourself in famous cemeteries! Almost every big city has its own famous burial sites, where tourists flock and where excursions are held. And there are plenty of people willing!

Novodevichy cemetery

We suggest taking a walk through two of the most famous and significant cemeteries in Moscow - Novodevichy and Vagankovsky. The great minds of our fatherland, the heroes of the Second World War, statesmen, writers, poets, composers, actors, directors, singers, athletes - all these people have left an eternal mark on Russian and world history on their territories. Our famous sculptors, artists and architects worked on a large number of monuments: M. Anikushin, E. Vuchetich, S. Konenkov, V. Mukhina, N. Tomsky, G. Schultz, many of them also found their last refuge in these cemeteries. Some of the gravestones keep amazing stories, secrets and assumptions that have remained unsolved (we recommend reading the versions about Nikolai Gogol's reburial, as well as finding out where the stone at the grave of Mikhail Bulgakov was taken from. - Ed. Note).

Cemetery Vagankovsky

Despite the cold and rainy summer, we managed to take advantage of several sunny days and capture our walk in photographs. Although it is worth noting that the cloudy and gloomy sky gives mystery and mysticism, which, of course, changes the overall mood and impression of the place. It all depends on the visitor, on what emotions you want to get in a certain life period. There is something to think about here, and the silence and the feeling as if time has stopped around help to clarify thoughts and distract from everyday worries.

Novodevichy cemetery

The Novodevichye Cemetery is considered the main Moscow necropolis. In Soviet times, it became the second most important burial place after the Kremlin wall. The cemetery is located in the southwestern part of the city, in Khamovniki, on the territory adjacent to the Novodevichy Convent (Sportivnaya metro station).

The first burials appeared in the 17th century on the territory of the Novodevichy Convent. By the 20th century, there was practically no free space, and then land was allocated behind the southern wall of the monastery. The official opening date of this part is 1904. At the moment, the cemetery occupies more than 7.5 hectares, consists of 4 territories, where 26,000 people are buried.

The territory of the Novodevichy Convent is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and is one of the most beautiful burial places in the world, deservedly included in the top 10.

Cemetery Vagankovsky

Vagankovskoye cemetery is a monument of Russian cultural heritage. The official year of foundation - 1771 - the time of the plague epidemic that accompanied the Russian-Turkish war. Both the Turkish army and the Russian suffered from the Plague Riot. By order of Empress Catherine II, those who died from the plague could not be buried within the city, so the land near the village of Vagankova was given for mass burial of ordinary Muscovites. The cemetery was filled with the graves of unknown people from the slums, poor peasants and petty officials until the 19th century - before the first burials of prominent personalities appeared.

On the territory of the Vagankovsky cemetery, more than 100 thousand graves are related to the tragic events of our history.
