And, of course, the bright and provocative outfits of the singers, which they periodically took off, remaining practically naked.

Courage on the verge of scandal and at the same time constant romance - this is, perhaps, what gave the team millions of fans, many of whom are still crazy about the creativity of the “Nanai people”.

The first mini-record “Na-Na” was released in 1989. This album, which was called “Group “Na-Na””, included only four songs. The album did not gain popularity, however, already in 1991, the renewed team released the first official record “Na-Na-91”, which became the beginning of the group’s enchanting success.

In the same year, the Nanais presented their first show to the public, called “The Story of One Benefit Performance.” What shocked the audience the most was the composition “Eskimo and Papuan,” which the singers performed almost naked against the backdrop of dancers dressed in fur coats. The number caused a scandal, and Bari Alibasov rubbed his hands with satisfaction: the producer achieved his goal - the whole country learned about the team.

The group “Na-Na” began to be invited to group concerts, the first videos and interviews appeared. And already in 1992, the band went on a concert tour of the cities Far East and Siberia.

1992 was the year of triumph for the Nanais. The group released the album “Faina”, the song of the same name from which occupied the first lines of all possible charts for several years. A video for this composition was also shot. The actor took part in the filming of the video. However, the first edition turned out to be too erotic, so the Nanais had to release a chaste version of the video, and the first one was removed from the air.

That same year, the group toured abroad, visiting Germany, the United States and even Turkey. And a year later, the team added to the series of albums, presenting fans with the album “Beautiful”, which included the hits “ White steamer", "Well, beautiful, let's go for a ride", "I'm going to see my dear one" and, of course, "The Hat Fell", which almost surpassed the legendary "Faina" in popularity.

1995 was marked by the appearance of the album “Na-Nastalgia”. The show, which presented new compositions, surpassed the group's previous concerts. This time, the audience was delighted by the “Nanais” themselves, and by invited musicians from Kenya, Bolivia, India, Chukotka, as well as recognized jazz bands and even a symphony orchestra.

It seemed that nothing would surprise fans of the Na-Na group, but the team again managed the impossible: at the end of the year the guys presented another album called “Flowers”. This record is notable for the fact that it was recorded in Thailand, with the assistance of the family of the Thai King Rama IX. The songs are sung in Thai, and the record itself is supplemented with photos of the band members, printed not just anywhere, but in the country's royal printing house.

In 1996, the group delighted fans with the albums “A Night Without Sleep” and “All Life is a Game.” Unfortunately, the songs from these records did not gain popularity. But the next album of the “Nanais” - the record “Count it, right?!”, released in 1997, again reminded the country of who the most popular artists are.

Updated group "Na-Na"

The album's release was preceded by a multi-hour show featuring military equipment, motorcycles and cars. The singers performed each composition with true artistry, appearing before fans in the guise of sailors, cowboy costumes, and even as astronauts. Along with the artists, illusionists and magicians appeared on stage.

In 2001, the group conquered new heights: the musicians were invited to the United States, where the Nanais gave many concerts and took part in the American Awards. Music Awards and even performed with legendary singer.

The crisis did not spare the Na-Na group either. In 2002, the singers had to return to Russia. Later, Bari Alibasov admitted that this period turned out to be the most difficult in his career. The producer even received treatment from psychiatrists, trying to cope with severe depression and thoughts of suicide. The mood of the “Nanais” was little better.
