Baked cauliflower is easy to prepare, yet delicious and delicious.

If you like cauliflower, then try baking it in sour cream and cheese, you will love it.

  • 500 grams of cauliflower
  • 200 grams of sour cream,
  • 100 grams of hard cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dry ground spices,
  • fine sea salt to taste,
  • fresh herbs to taste,
  • a small piece of butter.

We disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences and put in a saucepan. Fill with boiling water, salt a little and, after boiling, cook for 7 minutes. Then we put the cabbage in a colander (so that the liquid is glass).

We put the oven to warm up. The temperature for baking is 180 degrees.

Thoroughly grease the heat-resistant form with oil, evenly spread the boiled cauliflower inflorescences.

Three hard cheese on a grater (we leave a small part aside). Mix cheese with sour cream (fat content optional), mix well. Season with salt and spices, stir until smooth. For sour cream dressing, you can use not only the usual ground pepper, but also turmeric, nutmeg, curry, paprika or marjoram (to taste and desire).

Pour the cauliflower with the resulting sour cream dressing. Sprinkle cheese on top (evenly).

Place the cauliflower in a preheated oven. We bake for ten minutes. Then we turn on the grill function and cook for another five minutes until golden brown.

Rinse parsley, dill or cilantro well, dry, chop finely and put in a cup.

We take the finished dish out of the oven and leave it alone for ten minutes (to cool down a little). Then sprinkle with chopped herbs, serve as an independent dish or add your favorite side dish.

For cooking you need:

  • cauliflower - 500 g
  • minced chicken meat - 350 g
  • hard cheese - 100 g
  • sour cream or mayonnaise - 100 ml
  • mold oil
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs.

We clean the cauliflower from the leaves, disassemble it into inflorescences, wash it and throw it into boiling water, cook for 5-7 minutes, drain the water and cool.

Important! We throw cabbage into boiling water and cook for no more than 7 minutes, otherwise it will boil down and be like cotton wool!


While the cabbage is boiling, prepare the filling: beat the eggs with a fork


Then add spices, minced chicken and salt and mix thoroughly.


Grease the baking dish with oil (I use olive oil).


We put the finished filling into the mold just like that, or form a shape for the holiday from the filling.

We decorate the minced meat with cabbage inflorescences with roots in the filling (see the photo below)


We rub the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle our creation evenly distributing the cheese over the entire area. Top can be anointed with sour cream or mayonnaise.


We load into a preheated oven to 190 degrees and bake for 40-45 minutes until tender.

For cooking you need:

  • Cauliflower - 500 g

  • Sour cream - 150 g
  • Young garlic - 2-3 cloves

Spread the baking dish with butter (I use olive or ghee).

It is undesirable to cook cauliflower with sour cream immediately, without preliminary preparation. Forks need to be cleaned of leaves, cut off spoiled inflorescences. Pour cold water into a saucepan or large cup, add salt and dip the cauliflower in the saline solution. Leave the cabbage in this form for a short time - about 20-30 minutes.

Why is this needed? It's simple: not only people love this wonderful vegetable, but also all sorts of worm bugs. And using such a salt bath, we will cleanse the cabbage.


Boil the cauliflower before baking. Pour cold clean water into a saucepan, bring to a boil, salt to taste. Now put a whole cabbage forks in boiling water and boil for about 5 minutes.

Do not overcook the cabbage, because we still need to bake it. If you are going to cook whole forks, then turn it over during cooking. I most often cut cabbage forks into several large pieces, which I throw into the cooking pot. By the way, if you want to preserve the snow-white color of boiled cabbage, then during cooking you need to add a little lemon juice to the pan.

Now you need to cool the boiled cauliflower. I usually take it out with a slotted spoon and put it on a wide gap - let it cool down.


Now the whole forks or large pieces of cauliflower need to be disassembled into portioned inflorescences. Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil and spread the cauliflower in a thick layer.


It's time to prepare the sour cream filling. But we will add grated hard cheese to sour cream for a piquant taste. I usually try to use Parmesan. It seems to me that its pungent, characteristic aroma lends a rich flavor to any dish. But you can use cheese to your liking, for example, varieties of the "Russian" series will emphasize the creamy taste of sour cream filling and make the dish more tender.

It is better to grate the cheese on a fine grater.


To prepare the sour cream filling, mix sour cream, grated cheese in a separate bowl, add salt and a mixture of peppers to taste.


Pour the cauliflower on a baking sheet with the cooked sour cream filling, and sprinkle a little more prudently left grated cheese on top.

When choosing a cauliflower, try to get a good look at it. Few people know that its inflorescences can vary slightly in color - from completely white to slightly yellow and even purple. This is not a measure of the quality of the product. The darker the inflorescences, the more sunlight the plant received during growth. But the dark spots should alert you. Most likely, they say that the vegetable has already begun to deteriorate.

1. Before cooking, rinse the head of cabbage under running water, remove the leaves and cut it into inflorescences.

2. Boil water in a saucepan, add salt to taste, transfer prepared inflorescences there.

3. Wait until it boils, boil for about five minutes, drain the water and transfer the vegetable to a plate. Remember that cabbage cooks quickly, so do not exceed the boil time, otherwise it will become too soft and tasteless. Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil. Transfer cauliflower to it.

5. Drizzle cauliflower with sour cream. Mix well. Sprinkle with aromatic herbs, such as Provence, if desired.

7. Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Take out and cool.

  • Sour cream - 130 ml.
  • Egg.
  • Pepper, salt.

Step by step photo recipe:

Carefully inspect the head of cabbage, cut off any darkening, damage. Disassemble it into inflorescences. I do not advise you to cut the leg very short, the inflorescences will disintegrate and crumble. Instead of strong heads, you get an incomprehensible mess.

Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt, add cabbage. Wait for it to boil, boil for 5 minutes. Then drain the unnecessary broth (you can put it in a colander).

To make the filling, beat an egg into a bowl of sour cream. season with salt and pepper. Loosely loosen with a fork until smooth.

Take:

  • Chicken fillet - 600 gr.
  • Cauliflower - kilogram.
  • Cheese - 100 gr.
  • Bulgarian pepper.
  • Tomatoes are a couple.
  • Garlic cloves - 3 pcs.

  • Tomato paste - 3 large spoons.
  • Sugar to taste.
