You will download! And the jokes of the hosts of "Saltykov-Shchedrin" amuse only themselves. They sway with laughter for an hour (or are they pretending to laugh here too?) With mute bewilderment on the other side of the TV. And if the frontmen of the show sometimes succeed (Fomenko and Kortnev worked together in Oba-na!), Then why the other three are sitting in the studio is a mystery. Is it just to giggle?

On the newest Russian TV, there was only one relatively successful attempt to revive the satire in prime time - "Cartoon of Personality" (aired on Channel One). But this project, too, eventually reached the mice, that is, to pop stars: Pugachev – Galkin – Baskov – Volochkov. For this, the author of "Dolls" Viktor Shenderovich called "Mult" "imitation of satire." So, "Saltykov-Shchedrin" falls short even of imitation. Maslyakov would not have taken a team with such a level of humor to HSE even for his beautiful eyes.

The idea for a satirical show itself is great. But, so to speak, untimely. "Searchlight" proved: even when nothing is impossible, something is still possible if you act subtly. And if it doesn’t work subtly, then it’s better not to start. In order not to discredit either itself, or the genre, or Saltykov-Shchedrin.

European propaganda, and after it domestic European fans, consistently dehumanize Russia, its leaders and people, make us treat us like non-humans. Russian television must meet a variety of challenges. Does it match? What is it doing? What is the opposition?

The energetic, offensive Irada Zeynalova in Voskresnoye Vremya on Channel One was completely unexpectedly replaced by the editor-in-chief of the Expert magazine, a well-known analyst, and now a politician Valery Fadeev, who previously led a not very bright, not very crowded, relatively calm, "The structure of the moment." He has little professional experience as a presenter (especially of such a significant program as Vremya). Perhaps, on the First Channel, the need to compete with the Vesti Nedeli by Dmitry Kiselyov, who “reigns” on Sunday political air from eight to ten in the evening and later, has irrevocably disappeared. Something is too much, something, on the contrary, is missing. Swagger is too much; real sharpness, as well as successful ones, is not enough. The well-known film director and already an experienced TV presenter, of course, satirically repels the Soviet "International Panorama", which, by the way, was led by outstanding journalists worthy of all respect, but not mockery. In addition, Tigran Edmondovich is not too legible to sarcast everyone abroad. There are no objections to the essence of his merciless criticism of "world imperialism", but in terms of form ... It seems to me that it is not worthwhile to treat our "sworn partners" the same way they treat us, and stoop to their level. And so to flirt on the air with "top" guests (as with Maria Zakharova in the first issue), undermining her and her reputation, too. And when the presenter jokes flatly, for some reason constantly remembering his ethnic origin, it becomes somehow, right, uncomfortable - nevertheless, NTV does not have such a niggist audience as the "fraternal" TNT channel, and the "Armenian radio" of jokes is not here very much passes.

Satire and humor are no joke, Tigran Keosayan certainly has a sense of humor and charming charisma, and therefore I hope that his program will improve over time: he will pick up what is missing and get rid of the excess. Moreover, NTV has experience in correcting.

The birth rake of capitalism

At the end of the last season, the media harshly criticized the enthevesh satirical program "Saltykov-Shchedrin Show", as well as the humorous program from the First Channel "MaximMaxim". The last one - oh, have you really heard the criticism? - in the shameful form in which it was, it ceased to exist - it was completely closed. And the first, to everyone's joy, has radically changed.

The very things that were scourged disappeared from the show: the grimaces and scoffing of Nikolai Fomenko - he and other "superfluous" co-hosts are no longer in the program. And also "dimple little topics", replacing satire by sucking humor out of the finger. In the program, named after the great satirist, there was neither Shchedrin, nor his pain for our country, in which bungling and avarice are growing on an astonishing scale. And what has appeared? Not what, but who is Mikhail Zadornov.

Now Mikhail Nikolaevich sets the tone for the program. Abundantly and to the point, he quotes the aphorisms and phrases of the great Russian satirist, which are still modern. Supplements Saltykov-Shchedrin with his topical Prodorns. Listening is both funny and painful. But since Zadornov loves Russia and is rooting for her, the feeling of mockery and mockery of the Motherland, which slipped in other issues, is gone now! And the objects of satire here are different, much larger: even the first persons are remembered, and not just some deputy governors.

Even the "sacred" is criticized, that which is not allowed on any channel - Russian television, which copies one Western show after another, with their themes, motives and hits.

Now in the program - I can't believe my ears and eyes! - Russian folk and Soviet songs performed by a jazz ensemble in love.

Only musician and showman Alexei Kortnev and cavalier Dmitry Kolchin remained from the previous cast of presenters. And now they are both in place, they are on the right track, their eyes are burning, and their laughter is not strained. Kolchin acts in the satirical image of a modern cheater-boss - and he does it well, and Kortnev composes satirical zongs that are suitable for her main theme during the program, which are performed in the finale. And the columnist for "fools and roads" Gera Gigashvili also sounded meaningful and fervent. It even became a little scary: suddenly the producers of NTV would smooth down or remove the "fear for the sake of the Jewish" program, since it turns out to be actually very bold and sharp.

Or unknown to a wide Russian audience, except for the listeners of the same "Echo of Moscow", where the lovely Sofiko began, better than Oprah Winfrey? The attacking, loud, energetically (sometimes too much) articulating Olga Skabeeva and the professional, mobile, diplomatic Evgeny Popov had their own programs, now they combined in "60 minutes", balancing and complementing each other.

In the first issue I was surprised ... no, not the participation in the program of Michael Bohm, who has already become some kind of family - "affectionate Misha" from the American fairytale forest, not the caricatured fanfaron Jacob Koreib, looking at whom one cannot but recall Pushkin's "arrogant Pole". And of course, not always our experts, the same on all channels, but the fact that in addition to the Russian and anti-Russian there was a third position, which was embodied by the military expert Semyon Bagdasarov.

Speaking about the clash of interests between the United States and Russia, he dared to criticize our political leadership for lack of consistency in Syria (and, one must think, not only there).

Essentially, a lack of patriotism. It is not necessary to conclude an armistice, which is in the hands of the enemy, but to finish it off, bring it to its knees, and then only agree on something. The presenters were somewhat dumbfounded, Bagdasarov's colleagues objected. But it was felt that many in their hearts agreed with him. Moreover, we lack consistency, certainty and inflexibility not so much in foreign policy as in domestic policy. However, maybe this is all-pre-election rhetoric.
