Know yourself, and you will know the whole external world. Know yourself, and you will know the whole outside world For groups of students

Even the ancient sages said: "Know yourself and you will know the whole world!" All the sages talked about self-knowledge. The truth of a person begins in self-knowledge, and knowing himself, a person can return to his own authenticity, wherever he goes, wherever he is, no matter how delusional, and become awareness itself.
Knowing yourself means exploring your inner world, while not being afraid to see and accept yourself as a bad person in your eyes. and discovering all these "beautiful" qualities such as revenge, jealousy, hatred, pain-ego, resentment, etc. the creator of which is the person himself, and which are passed on from generation to generation, rid ourselves of them by studying the Secrets of human feelings, using the Law of Thought and the Laws of the Psyche.

Entering the path of self-knowledge, we turn our gaze into ourselves, and at the same time we live our normal life. We peer into the outside, listen to the outside, live in the outside world, but at the same time observe our own inner world. Our constant attention, like a double-edged arrow, is directed to the external and at the same time to the internal. Knowing that every moment of life something evokes in us and changes us, we become sensitive and attentive to what is happening to us, learning to deal with ourselves.

Do I need to study and know myself? Of course it is. Let's consider why, having penetrated into ourselves, we will be given knowledge of the whole world? The answer lies in the understanding of such concepts as - micro space and macro space. The whole world around us and everything that surrounds us is a projection of us, each person is a microcosm. In our body, the same laws apply as in the entire universe, only on a different scale.

What is closer to us for knowledge, Mars with Jupiter, or our own body? Our body is an instrument of cognition of the space in which we are. And it is an instrument not only in the sense that it has arms, legs and 5 sense organs ... with the help of which we cognize the world around us, but in the fact that it is the very matter, from the same atoms, with which we are identified from birth! That is, from the very birth we already have a deep and strong connection with this matter called the body, but we are not aware of it, we just have to deepen this connection further.

And to deepen it by concentrating on the object of cognition (which we always do in the case of cognition), in this case - our own body. You need to concentrate on all the sensations and feelings that arise, on all the processes that occur and subsequently, at a certain stage, we will be able not only to feel these processes, but also to control them. Having learned to control the processes taking place in our body, we will be able to gradually project this ability into the "external" world, proceeding from the fact that the world is one and indivisible.

But first, you need to understand how we control our physical body. If we take as a basis that there is Spirit, as an indivisible particle - the Divine principle, which we essentially are, the Soul - as a set of energy bodies / shells through which the Spirit cognizes matter, then our physical body is connected with us through the Soul, with the help of which the Spirit controls all the processes that take place in us, through the control of energy processes that ultimately form the physical ones.
So, realizing that physical matter is controlled from a more subtle level - energy, we understand that we need to learn to feel and control energy in order to be able to consciously form and control not only the processes taking place inside our body, but also in the space around us. Thus, expanding the space for creativity.

Our body is a reference point in the knowledge of the physical world around us. Since our world consists not only of the matter that we are accustomed to call physical .. having learned to feel and control the physical body, one can begin to simultaneously develop in oneself and energy sensitivity, which was already mentioned above. Our physical body is an instrument of cognition of physical matter, physical space. Just like the physical at all other levels (all such divisions are just for convenience, since in essence everything is one and indivisible), we have bodies corresponding to these levels. Therefore, for further development and improvement, we need to go further and further in the knowledge of the levels of being and our tools of knowledge and creativity at these levels. And then we will become like gods. Since we will own and manage matter, realizing it as a part of ourselves. You just need to understand that there is the One Creator of All That Is. And we will never surpass it, no matter how we want it. By this I want to say that a person should not exalt himself above God, since he is only his child and will always remain so, no matter how powerful he is.

Humanity has taken the path of development outside. Efforts are mainly directed to the development of crutches of the person himself, and the computer is trying to replace the human brain. Of course, like any development, it will bear fruit - “he who seeks will always find”, another thing is that this is an irrational approach, since we have everything ourselves, but we do not use it to the proper extent. On average, the brain is involved in conscious processes only by some 3-4 percent in ordinary people, and in geniuses 5-7. Even if we consider this issue from a scientific point of view, a person has practically unlimited possibilities, due to the fact that he has a mind. He can prolong his life for himself, having learned the destructive programs that are inherent in us and change them. And also to influence external negative factors that suppress us. The same is true if we take internal development .. at the first stage we learn to use what we have, at the second to create something new. But a person still uses only 3-4 percent of his brain in conscious activity. Have you thought what possibilities our brain will have if we increase its potential through cognition and development?

Get to know and study yourself and you will know the whole external world, the universe. Sages in ancient times, not seeing things, penetrated into the true essence of things, they did not travel to different countries, but they cognized the world around them and found answers to questions within themselves. Knowing yourself, you will begin to see people "through and through." In every movement and action of a person, you will begin to see certain traits of character and temperament. You just need to observe people and yourself, so study your behavior and those around you, observe yourself and the surrounding reality more often.

I strongly advise you to look into the interactive educational center "Know Yourself - Know the World", which opened at the Darwin Museum on September 1 - here you will surely leave at least two hours, and take with you knowledge, amazing discoveries, admiration for the implementation of this project and the desire to return here ...

The grand opening of the interactive educational center "Know Yourself - Know the World", which was attended by the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, took place on August 28, and on September 1, the Center opened its doors to all visitors. The preparation for the implementation of this project, the author of which was the director of the museum Anna Klyukina, for three years was carried out by the staff of the Darwin Museum with the support of the Department of Culture and the Department of Science.

The center is located in two halls, where more than 100 interesting interactive stands are located on a relatively small area of 190 square meters. This compact space contains just a huge amount of information, which is presented in a varied and exciting form. Information and various interesting items are placed not only on stands, screens, but also under the ceiling and even on the floor.

Here, literally at every step, modern multimedia systems, touch panels, contactless gaming devices, microscopes and much more are installed - it is interesting to get to know them and learn how to operate them, with their help it is interesting to receive information and learn about the world around us.

At the entrance to the educational center there is an interactive game stand - a screen onto which your image is projected. And if you stand in front of him and follow all the commands, then the center symbol will appear on the screen - a chameleon with which you can take a photo. Then the photo can be sent to your e-mail using the terminal located nearby.

The authors of the project, museum staff, developers, artists managed to make the Center such that it is interesting for visitors of any age - even adults hang out with great interest at the information and game screens, study everything, examine, touch, open the drawers and are surprised at how great everything is thought up and implemented.

In the photo below, and the following, you can see how much adults are passionate about the development of the stands and the study of information. It seemed to me that adults are even more interesting here than children (although, of course, everyone here will definitely find a lot of new, informative and interesting things):

Here you can touch absolutely everything with your hands - pick up a jar and feel the aroma of flowers, fold a human skeleton from bones or from individual elements to collect a plant, animal or bacterial cell. Here amazing discoveries are hidden everywhere - in the seemingly invisible boxes you can find a collection of insects or fungi, and by pulling the handles located on tree trunks, you can see samples of branches, leaves and bark.

The entire space is divided into three zones - "Know thyself", "Know the world" and "The unity of all living things."

In the first hall on the right there are stands with which you can "know yourself" - get acquainted with the structure of the human body, explore its individual parts and systems, or examine particles of body tissues under a microscope, check your physical capabilities and compare the indicators of your body with those of animals.

For example, putting your hands on the sensors mounted on the wall, you can measure your heart rate:

Here you can check your vestibular apparatus - you need to stand on an inclined rotating platform,
grab the handrails and try to hold on, and the screen displays the results of these tests:

Nearby there is a stand where you can compare the force of your blow with the force of the blow of animals:

This device can measure your height, weight, pulse, muscle and bone mass, water content
in the body and (the most unpleasant indicator for some people :) body fat mass:

To start measuring, you need to put a token into the machine (you can take it from the caretaker). At the end of the test, the device issues a check, which indicates the results and recommendations. There are contraindications - the device does not work if the height is less than 135 cm and the weight is less than 15 kg; and it is also contraindicated to measure body fat for pregnant women and people who have a pacemaker or similar devices.

With the help of these stands you can get acquainted with the structure of the human body - here you can assemble from bones
human skeleton or study various systems (bone, muscle, circulatory, nervous), and
Screen images can be zoomed in and rotated 360 degrees:

Human organs - heart, brain, liver and others - are located in the closet nearby.
On the organs, the parts of the organ are marked with numbers, and their names are written on the sheets:

Under a microscope, you can see how the tissues of the body and internal organs of a person look like:

Here is some kind of laboratory in which we did not have time to work - and therefore I do not know what is there
interesting that two children at once are in a hurry to get up on the stand, carefully set by the employees
museum especially for the youngest visitors:

& nbsp
-these, like all the small photos below, are clickable-

Opposite there are stands with which you can get acquainted with the senses -
sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell:

Sensory organs are not only in humans, but also in most other inhabitants of the animal world,
and this part of the exposition in a playful way tells about how we are similar and how we differ.

For example, here you can see the world through the eyes of a person, a bee and various animals:

Here you can get acquainted with another organ of the senses - taste. On the play stand, you need to distribute
chips in accordance with the taste of the products written on them - sweet, sour, bitter, spicy
(this stand is interesting for young children, but adults do not hesitate to play on it :) -

By clicking on the "buttons" of the touch screen, you can get information about the smell and its role in the life of humans and animals:

You can not only learn about the smell, but you can even feel it here! It is enough just to take a jar fixed on a magnetic wall (and tied by a string; so that they do not forget to put back :) a jar:

Most of all I liked the smell of ylang-ylang, which was not familiar to me before. And, apparently, not only to me, since it was at this jar that the string was torn off. And just at the very moment when I was here, museum staff and technical workers came up - they were discussing how to replace these strings so that they would not fray. In general, both times when we were here, we saw that technical personnel, museum staff, as well as the director of the museum and the author of this project, Anna Klyukina, came here regularly to check the performance of the equipment and interactive stands.

Acquaintance with sound. By moving the slider on the scale of the touch screen, you can find out which sound corresponds to a certain level, expressed in decibels, and how it affects a person:

This stand has a soundtrack - you can hear complete silence, the noise of a tram or subway car, the sounds of the city day and night, and others. And the most pleasant (of the presented) is the rustle of foliage:

In addition to the five basic senses (sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch), there is one more feeling (which "does not run away to the forest" :) - the feeling of hunger. Here you need to feed the chameleon, and at the same time check your reaction:

Animals, like people, also experience emotions, and some of them are able and do not hesitate to demonstrate them. This stand consists of four rotating cylinders with photographs depicting the emotions of a child and a monkey - if the pictures are chosen correctly, then a light will light up inside the cylinders:

It would seem a simple task, but for the emotion of "surprise" my pictures did not line up in any way
in the correct sequence. Noticing this, the caretaker came up and helped solve the problem, informing
(secretly :) that there is a "cheat sheet" on the cylinders (in the photo it is there in the upper right corner) -

In general, all these stands about taste, sounds, emotions (as well as the entire exposition of this educational center as a whole) teach us to be observant, attentive to ourselves and the world around us.

So the next stand encourages us to take a better look at ourselves (beloved :) - to determine our genetic characteristics, such as eye color, ear shape, and even whether the bend of the thumb is
and find out how many people with the same symptoms visited this educational center:

The elementary unit of any living organism is a biological cell, and this constructor will help you get acquainted with its various types (animal, plant, bacterial) and the structure of cells:

From individual elements (nucleus, cytoplasm, vacuole), in accordance with the scheme, you need to fold the cell
(a task for children, but adults are unlikely to be able to pass by):

A huge panoramic screen is installed in the center, which will help to make a virtual trip.
on the planet - visit the jungle or the North Pole, fly over the mountains or sink to the bottom of the ocean:

With hand gestures, you can turn the Earth, zoom in, move away and choose the place where you want to go on a journey. And if on the way there is someone whose silhouette is outlined, then you need to point to him - he will "see" you and start moving. In addition, coordination of movements is also developing here, since certain commands must be given with the left hand, and others with the right.

To the left of the screen there is a description of gestures and actions, and the caretaker willingly helps, teaches, prompts, but after two visits I did not remember what and how to do :). I was surprised that this screen understands where my left arm is and where my right arm is when my arm is bent or extended forward. To my question "How does he do it?"

The "Kingdom of the Living" stand shows the diversity of the world of living organisms:

A large screen is located nearby, which shows the life of a tree at different times of the year and day. Here you can see and find out what processes are happening - multi-colored arrows constantly moving around the screen show how, depending on the time of year and day, plants and trees receive carbon dioxide, food, water, and how they give oxygen:

And on the touchscreen next to it, you can select the season and time of day, and here information about oxygen, carbon dioxide, water appears (and under the text you can see an image of the structure of the atom):

We pass to the second hall of the educational center "Know thyself - know the world" ...

One of the stands clearly shows who lives where. Here is a magpie flying overhead:

An owl peeps out of the hollow (or is it an owl? I always confuse them :) -

Let's look under the bark - and through the round windows equipped with a magnifying glass, we will see that all sorts of bugs, worms, caterpillars live there:

Polypores grow on the trunk of the tree, and if you look through the windows, you can see who is hiding behind the foliage:

A lark lurked in the branches of a birch:

A redhead hid behind the branches .. no, not a fox :). All summer I tormented my hair with regular repainting (I could not decide on the color; I did not like everything :) and decided for the time being I stopped at such a bright autumn color (I will change it by winter; just not to fade :).

In one of the showcases, you can see a collection of tinder fungus (and below, in drawers, a collection of mosses is kept):

If you have examined and studied everything well, then incorrectly answer the questions without errors:

And you can also play a fairly simple game and resettle plants, insects, birds and animals in their habitats:

The wealth of flora and fauna is at our feet:

Such a design solution in the design of the exposition can be seen in other museums, but, as a rule, showcases built into the floor occupy a small area, but here it is almost the entire hall. Very unusual and beautiful (so sorry, but there will be a lot of photos of the floor :).

It seemed to me that the moles are large enough, at least 20 centimeters (considering the size of the mounds that they leave in the fields), and only recently I learned that they, it turns out, are quite small - the size of a mouse. And here for the first time I saw moles live (well, almost :) -

Walking on this floor it seems as if you are back in summer, walking in a meadow or in a forest. And then you pay attention to the fact that you do not always notice or see what the forest hides. And this feeling is enhanced by the forest depicted on the wall, along which there are tree trunks:

If, walking in the forest, you take your time and be observant, then you can spot a lot of interesting things. And this "forest" hides many surprises. For example, there are boxes on the wall and trunks, opening which you can see branches, leaves, fruits of various trees:

Below there is another small box where samples of bark of birch, maple, mountain ash and other trees are stored. The bark is under the glass, in which there is a window - by lowering your hand into it, you can touch the bark and find out what it feels like:

All the knowledge about trees obtained here (and previously available :) and your observation skills can be checked by answering the test questions:

Here you need to answer five questions (leaf shape, bark, flowers, branch shape, fruits), choosing the correct one from five options:

And if a question has caused difficulty, then you can always return "to the forest", open the desired box - and find a hint there:

It is interesting to pass this test over and over again by choosing some other tree. It's nice that there are no school marks here (as well as on all other stands), and there is a "right to make a mistake" - regardless of the number of mistakes, the test will be passed. And the mark is praise (like "well done"; without specifying the number of errors :) or, as on this stand, a bonus - additional information about the tree and where it is used and what is made of it:

If you don't have enough patience, you can spy on the correct answer :) -

Dragged on by brown mud
The smooth surface of an old pond
Oh, it was like Pinocchio, like that mountain ash
I was once young .. :)

In general, in early-early youth :), I did not like botany (and after it biology, zoology) (most likely, the teacher is to blame - I did not instill a love for the subject :), but here with interest I "made up for lost time", studying pistils - stamens, examining the leaves:

Here, on the screen illuminated from the inside, you can take a good look at the shape of the leaf, its structure and pattern:

Below the screen is an inconspicuous at first glance rack, where frames with other types of grasses, tree leaves and flowers are stored:

And then you can describe the structure of the sheet by answering the test questions:

I thought that I could handle the oak, but when choosing the shape of the leaf I managed to make three or four mistakes :).

This interactive touch screen stores information about the structure of plant parts - root, shoot, flower, fruits:

I didn’t think that my son would be interested in pistils-stamens, but this flower constructor fascinated him very much - here he spent a lot of time, composing various flowers from individual elements (pistil, stamen, corolla, calyx):

After you put a certain set of flower parts in the basket, images of flowers appear on the screen, corresponding to the formula you have invented:

Rotating the circle with the samples of seeds and fruits presented here, you can see them under a magnifying glass:

Cells of various plants can be viewed under a microscope:

In this case, what you see through the microscope is displayed on the screen:

And then you can check the knowledge gained:

By moving the slider along the scale on the touch screen, you can learn about the evolution of plants and see what they were like millions and billions of years ago:

The first time I came to this educational center three days after its opening; I was alone, without a child (when I was passing by, I could not help but go, because it was curious to see this Center, about the upcoming opening of which I learned in August from the TV news) - and spent more than 2 hours here.

A week later, we came here with our ten-year-old son, and spent almost three hours here. And all the same, we didn’t have time to work at some of the stands, I got a glimpse of the information somewhere, but we probably didn’t notice something and we’ll find it next time ...

So, on my first visit, I did not notice that the tables in the center of the hall, on the surface of which there are many interesting interactive devices and screens, also have drawers in which various exhibits are stored:

For example, in one of the boxes you can find a collection of tinder fungus:

And in another drawer you can see a variety of mosses:

The game "Who eats what" is especially popular with kids, but older children will not be able to pass by:

Here you need to feed animals and birds with food, the name of which is written on the token. The menu contains caterpillars, mosquitoes, strawberries, hazelnuts, seeds and even sweets, a sandwich, a sausage:

If the food is suitable, then a squirrel, an owl or a frog will willingly open its mouth, and, of course, they will refuse a sausage or candy. And also, if you listen closely (and if the hall is not too crowded and noisy), you can hear the sounds that the dummies make when you offer them the wrong food. These sounds are audio recordings of the voices of live animals and birds.

Here is another interesting game - here you need to populate the island with plants, animals and birds:

The game is similar to a game of cards, you can play together with a computer or invite a third person to the game :). The rules are such that it is impossible, for example, to settle a fox on an island if it does not have the food it needs (a hare). A hare needs a certain amount of rape, and if it is enough, then the hare can be settled on the island. But you need to look who lives there - if a fox already lives there, then she will eat it :).

One more game can be played at the same stand. You need to put a couple of pictures on the designated places on the table, then the computer reads them out and these plants, animals or birds appear on the screen. Then you can watch what happens - if it is a rape and a hare, then he will calmly walk in the meadow and eat grass, and if it is a hare and a fox, then the cheat will sneak up, grab and eat the oblique (by the way, the bloody scene is shown here - so that, for young children and especially impressionable adults, it is better not to look at it;). During the game, the video camera captures you and projects the image onto the screen - thus, seeing yourself on the screen with the inhabitants of the island, creates a "presence" effect.

My son played this game with enthusiasm, and at that time I was interested in the neighboring stand, where you can learn more about birds:

There is no textual information here, but you need to pass the test - by clicking on the buttons located next to the image of birds, answer the questions: which bird's voice sounds, which birds winter in the city and which ones arrive in the spring:

I must say that without being an ornithologist, it is almost impossible to pass the test accurately, but you can take the test again and again - until you memorize it :).

And with the help of this multimedia stand, you can find out what insects sing with:

There are buttons next to each insect (which, I confess, I did not see for the first time; and not only me - I noticed that other visitors pass by them, and pay attention only when they notice that other people are pressing these buttons). If you press the button, you can hear the sound that the insect makes. But it is especially impressive that at this moment the insect comes to life - it begins to move the parts with which it makes sound!

With the help of interactive devices and touch panels installed on this table, you can get acquainted with the inhabitants of the meadow and the reservoir:

Here you can get acquainted with the inhabitants of the reservoir - having caught a fish floating on the screen, you can read information about it:

My son really liked fishing (a favorite pastime of many men :), but while he was fishing, I was catching insects crawling in the grass and butterflies fluttering over the meadow:

Here, in the showcase, you can see a collection of the inhabitants of the meadow and the reservoir:

And if you notice the inscription "Open" located just below and pull out the drawers,
then you can see other insects:

And in the lowest box you can see the skulls of various animals:

Some were smaller than I imagined. It was interesting to see that here, too, the beaver's teeth (or rather, teeth :) are orange. When we were in the beaver nursery of the Voronezh Nature Reserve, I noticed the color of the teeth and thought - are they so bad that they gnaw aspen (which they bring them for lunch :) or are they like that from birth? .. By the way, when I held it in my hands the little beaver is two weeks old, it was necessary to look into his mouth (his teeth are not yet scary :) - then I would find the answer to my question :)

Here you can get acquainted with the diversity of the animal world:

And to examine under a microscope what the skin of a snake looks like, the hair of polar and brown bears, the needles of a hedgehog or a feather of a bird:

And at the end of the second hall there is a dark room (which you may not even notice among the bright walls of the halls), where animals lurk in the dark, but to see them, you need to step on the footprint depicted on the floor:

You can also study the tracks of animals and birds using the touch panel, and the knowledge gained can be checked in the game:

And then you can leave your mark - a mark in the protection of nature. You need to put your hand to the panel on the floor, and the handprint will immediately appear on the screen:

A visit to this wonderful multimedia interactive educational center "Know Yourself Know the World" is only worth a visit.

This is the cost of entrance tickets on weekdays, and on weekends - 120 rubles for adults, 80 rubles for schoolchildren and preferential categories, 20 rubles for preschoolers. In addition, you must purchase entrance tickets to the museum: 250 rubles for adults, 80 rubles for schoolchildren.

In addition to the fact that the Darwin Museum now has such a wonderful multimedia educational center, there is still another interactive exhibition (although, of course, not so large-scale, but also interesting) - "Walk the path of evolution". Also, the museum regularly opens new exhibitions and various events. In addition to excursions and programs for organized groups (which must be ordered strongly in advance :), the museum hosts programs for combined groups (including on weekdays).

On September 1, the Interactive Educational Center "Know Yourself - Know the World" will open at the Darwin Museum. No textbooks or stingy facts about the world around you - about 100 interactive exhibits and programs dedicated to the world of wildlife will be installed here.

Seeing the world through the eyes of a dragonfly, measuring the reaction rate, comparing yourself with animals, examining cells in detail and moving the continents with your hand - it will be interesting not only for children, but also for adults. Moreover, a river with fish will flow right under the feet of visitors.

"The essence of the Interactive Educational Center lies in its very name" Know yourself - know the world. " play together or even four, "said Tatiana Korovkina, an employee of the press service of the Darwin Museum.

The center already has its own symbol - a chameleon. You can use it by sending a picture to your e-mail. Also, the "Call a Chameleon" contest for choosing a name has just started. More than 100 visitors have already sent their options.

The area of the center is about 200 square meters. It should be noted that the development of the center was carried out for three years by a working group headed by the author of the idea, director of the Darwin Museum, Anna Klyukina. The author of the artistic solution is the Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Konov. The interactive center will be divided into three parts: "Know thyself", "Know the world" and "The unity of all living things".

"Know thyself"

In this part, you can learn about the differences in the structure of humans and other organisms on Earth. For example, guests of the center will be able to assemble a human skeleton, compare the force of their blows and blows of animals, as well as measure the pulse and compare it with the heart rate of a cat, mouse, hummingbird, horse, elephant and dolphin.

"What of what taste" is an exhibit in the form of four languages, each of which is responsible for a specific taste (sour, salty, sweet, spicy). Visitors will be able to take several cards depicting products (fruits, vegetables, pastries) and distribute them according to their tastes. At the installation "Sound and Our Health" you can listen to several levels of noise and find out which of them is harmful to human health every day.

The "Know thyself" stand will reveal the secrets of the structure of the human body: by controlling the image on the touch screen, one can see how the human body, its skeleton, internal organs, nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems work. Moreover, the image can be rotated and scaled. "Health passport" - a stand where you can measure your height, weight, body mass index and the percentage of fat accumulated during the winter. And the exhibit "The Significance of Smells in the Life of Animals and Man" will allow you to feel various aromas and find out how a particular smell affects a person.

"Know the world"

In addition to "smart" exhibits, robotic models of animals, magnified several times, will be installed in the center. Sounds made by robots are recorded from real animals, and each exhibit is hand-painted.

In the complex "Who eats what" you can feed the squirrel and the frog with the offered "products". The main thing is to choose the right food, since in addition to beetles and cones, there are sausages, sweets and sandwiches there. In the complex "Who sings with what" you can not only listen to the sounds of insects, but also find out what organs Madagascar cockroaches, crickets, cicadas, hawk moths and many others use to make sounds and communicate with each other.

The game "Who lives where" is an interactive screen divided into several areas of animal habitation (swamp, meadow, deciduous forest, and others). "Meadow" and "Pond" - here water striders glide on the surface of the interactive screen, frogs jump and fish swim. After a visitor to the center has caught an animal, information about it appears on the screen, as well as a small video clip and photographs.

The Life of One Tree complex is a life-size birch tree that is home to many animals and plants. Its left side will introduce the inhabitants - what animals and plants live on the surface of the tree, on the branches and under the bark. They can be viewed through the holes with built-in magnifiers. On the right side, you can select the season and time of day, as well as find out what processes are happening in the tree.

A part of the ecosystem of Moscow will be recreated in the glass floor of the complex - animals and plants that live under the feet of the townspeople: birds, fish, mushrooms. Here you can learn about the relationship between plants, animals, insects and birds.

"The unity of all living things"

The third part of the center will allow you to visit all corners of the globe thanks to special programs, powerful projectors, Kinect sensors and a five-meter semicircular panorama screen. Visitors will see the planet on it from space, will be able to rotate and scale it, as well as select areas of the globe in order to get a closer look at its inhabitants. Moreover, the animals will also interact with the guests of the center: the arotron fish will turn into a spiny ball, the echidna will bury itself in the ground, and the flying fish will fly over the surface of the water.

A separate place is occupied by the interactive table and the "Cage" constructor, and above the table there is a multimedia installation "Dynamic model of the cage". Here, having chosen the type of cell (plant, animal, bacterial), you need to correctly assemble a complete set of its components (nucleus, cytoplasm, vacuole). You can use the tips on the panel, as well as test your knowledge in the game "Cage".

The target audience of our center is family. So, parents will be able to help children master a difficult program for them. We also expect that the center will be of interest to young people who love modern technologies. There is no doubt that this educational center will be of interest to visitors. There is international experience. Today, in many countries, huge educational centers are being created, such as, for example, in the Gallery of Evolution in Paris. We have our own experience - five years ago an interactive exhibition "Walk the path of evolution" was opened in the museum. And this year we are planning to make a complete renovation of the light-video-musical exposition "Living Planet", which has worked for 12 years.

The concept of the center took three years to develop, and we faced many difficulties. Firstly, we had a hard time finding a place for our center. Secondly, it was difficult to find performers - as a result, the complexes were invented by the museum's researchers. Moreover, many of the complexes were developed in Russia for the first time, so their creation was equated with research work. Third, all new technologies cost a lot of money. For three years, the Department of Culture allocated funds for the center, but this year, the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship allocated half of the total cost of the project. If not for them, we would have been implementing this project for another three years, and during this time our innovations would have become outdated.

We have not yet finally decided how much the tickets will cost, but it will be a purely symbolic fee - 20 rubles for children, 50-70 rubles for adults. We make a separate ticket in order to somehow regulate the flow of visitors. For example, in Paris, a similar center is allowed in for sessions and on a separate ticket, but for now we have decided not to do sessions so that people can come in whenever they want. But in the center there is only 192 sq. meters, therefore, it may be necessary to regulate the flows. In addition, in the center of 70 sq. meters of showcases underfoot, so shoe covers will be issued for the ticket.
