Drawing an autumn landscape in stages with colored pencils. We draw autumn landscapes in stages: monotype, pencil, applique

When summer ends, the leaves on the trees turn yellow and begin to fall off, a natural question arises for novice artists - how to draw an autumn landscape? My new instructions will help you create a harmonious composition and choose colors. You will learn how beautiful and easy it is to draw a drawing of an autumn landscape near the water with a pencil and paints.

Step 1

In order to draw an autumn landscape in stages, you will need a rough sketch of your future painting. First sketch out the horizon line, the silhouettes of trees in the distance, the sun, sketch out the foreground. For me it will be a tree, a piece of shore and reeds. So our pencil drawing of the autumn landscape is ready.

Step 2

It's time to move on to color. You can use gouache, watercolor, acrylic, or oil paints. Pastels or colored pencils will also work. It all depends on your personal preference.

First, let's see how you can paint an autumn landscape with gouache or watercolor. Paint the sun with a rich yellow and the sky with a blue to blue gradient. Near the sun it will be lighter, closer to the river - darker.

Step 3

In order to understand how to draw an autumn landscape for beginners step by step, you need to divide your work into several sections. Now let's turn our attention to the trees in the distance. Paint them with a rich orange or brown color, paint the tree trunks, and make the leaves lighter and more saturated with red shades. So you can create the illusion of a golden autumn forest in the light of the setting sun.

Step 4

Now pay attention to the reflection of the trees in the water. Make the highlights horizontal, use the same colors as for the trees, only slightly darken them with water paints. Then sketch out the silhouette of the foreground tree using black or dark brown gouache.

On a note: My detailed instructions will help to draw a natural autumn landscape even for a child of 2, 3 or 4 grades.

Step 5

Work on the foreground. To make the image three-dimensional, use a variety of shades to draw the reeds.

Step 6

Add vibrant variegated leaves to the tree. Don't be afraid of rich colors, as this object is the center of our composition. Specify the direction of the river flow using white strokes.

We have selected for you 3 simple, but completely different in execution techniques for depicting autumn nature. Choose the one that you like.

Autumn landscape watercolor in monotype technique

A traditional autumn landscape - a colorful forest on the shore of a reservoir, reflected in a water mirror, can be painted using an original and easy-to-use technique.

You will need:

  • watercolor paints (preferably honey-based);
  • water;
  • natural brush (squirrel) - recommended size 2.5;
  • a sheet of thick paper for watercolor painting;
  • palette for mixing paints.

Technique for drawing an autumn landscape in stages:

Apply a thin layer of water to the paper with a brush. Leave the sheet to dry.

Draw a line for the horizon. Determine where the sky will be in the drawing, allocating more space for it than for objects located on the ground. Paint the sky in a light blue tone, applying paint from bottom to top, heading from the horizon.

Draw water. To do this, select a more saturated shade of blue and apply it, heading down from the horizon line. When drawing a surface of water, make movements with a brush horizontally. Leave the sheet to dry - the paint should dry completely!

Draw the sky. Use the brush to paint yellow and draw a stripe across the sky, approximately in the center of it. Draw the exact same crimson stripe closer to the horizon. These lines represent solar reflections.

Apply enough white paint to the brush, dilute it a little with water. Draw several oblique stripes across the sky and blend them in the same direction. These will be clouds.

Draw water on the brush and blur the raspberry and yellow streaks, moving the brush horizontally.

Dip a brush in brown paint and paint a wide stripe on the horizon. It will be a forest in the distance. Wait for the paint to dry completely.

With orange paint, paint the silhouettes of the trees that will be in the foreground - directly on the shore. You can do this not only with a brush, but also directly using leaf prints.

Fold the sheet in half, folding it up and down. Run your hand over the paper and unfold the drawing. You have imprinted the reflection of the trees in the opening mirror.

Behind the trees depict the sun, silhouettes of birds flying across the sky. Wait for the drawing to dry

Brush with yellow paint and paint the silhouettes of the trees at the top of the sheet. Fold the drawing in half again, swipe and unfold.

At the top of the landscape, paint the trees in orange and yellow and the grass in yellow.

Draw the trunks and branches of the trees.

Autumn drawing in monotype technique is ready!

Autumn landscape in pencil

Using a pencil, it is best to depict late autumn, when there is practically no foliage on the trees, the weather is frowning, and the artist's mood is a little sad. We suggest you depict two thin autumn trees bending under the gusts of the cold autumn wind on the bank of the river.

Autumn landscape technique in stages:

Outline straight horizons and perspectives

In the foreground, depict tree trunks.

Draw the left and right banks of the river

To prevent the trees from "hanging in the air" draw a small mound at their foot, covered with dry and sparse grass.

Draw in detail the silhouettes of both trees - rhizomes, trunks, branches

Draw some fallen leaves on the ground and draw a few remaining leaves on the branches of the trees. Draw reeds along the banks of the river.

Use horizontal lines to depict the flow of the river.

Cover the mound on which the trees grow with shading of different intensities.

Draw the silhouette of a forest on the far bank of the river with the same shading.

Draw clouds in the sky and silhouettes of birds flying away to warm lands.

Draw a thin autumn cobweb among the branches of the tree.

Use the eraser to add highlights to the landscape for an even colder mood.

Create an autumn landscape using natural materials

Children will surely enjoy working on this landscape, because the original technique of execution involves the use of real autumn leaves.

You will need:

  • watercolor paints;
  • gouache;
  • simple pencil;
  • thick paper for drawing watercolor;
  • natural brushes (pony, squirrel No. 2.6);
  • masking tape;
  • autumn leaves of various shapes.

Progress:

Mark the horizon line with a simple pencil

Tear the paper tape into free-form pieces and stick them above the horizon - these will be clouds floating in the sky

Draw the horizon line with yellow watercolor. When depicting the horizon, brush with more water so that the line is blurred.

Paint the sky with rich yellow, moving the brush from left to right.

Gradually introduce greenish shades into the general background of the sky. Remember to add plenty of water to the brush.

Accentuate the horizon with darker shades of blue and green. Thus, you will depict the forest located in the distance.

Paint the foreground of the landscape with blurred patches of different shades of yellow and green.

Peel off the paper tape above the horizon line.

Prepare the autumn leaves that you will use to draw the trees in the distance.

Cover the leaves with orange, yellow, or brown gouache.

Attach the leaves to the background of the drawing, beyond the horizon line. Make prints.

In the same way, print out the outlines of the leaves in the foreground of the landscape. For the foreground, pick up leaves of a different shape and use richer shades of gouache.

Use a thin brush to paint the trunks and branches of the trees in the foreground.

The original autumn landscape is ready.

Creative autumn for you!

Drawing an autumn landscape in stages

Drawing master class. Landscape-mood "Late Autumn"

Kokorina Elena Yuryevna, teacher of fine arts, Municipal Educational Institution Slavninskaya Secondary School, Tver Region, Torzhok District.

Purpose of work: a drawing master class is intended for children from 10 years old, teachers of fine arts and teachers of additional education. The drawing can be used to participate in competitions, exhibitions, interior decoration or as a gift.

Target: performing a landscape on the theme "Late Autumn"

Tasks:
to develop the idea that through the selection of colors it is possible to convey in the drawing a certain weather and mood characteristic of a rainy late autumn;
to form skills of wet toning of paper with watercolors;
foster interest in landscape painting and in the drawing process itself.

For work we need: album sheet, watercolor, a glass for water, brushes of various thicknesses and hardness (squirrel or pony No. 4, No. 2; bristle No. 8), wax pencils.

All rain and rain. There are puddles everywhere
Streams pour onto the ground from the rooftops.
Every day is gloomy and worse,
And from the sharp autumn cold
You don't know where to find shelter.
All the rain and rain ... the roses withered,
The flowers are cold, do not bloom,
And there are only tears in the trees ...
Another week - and frosts
They will come to us menacingly from the north.
(M.P. Chekhov)

Late fall. Many people consider this time boring, sad and sad. Probably it is. Usually during this period endless rains fall, the sun hardly comes out, birds do not sing, the days look gray, it starts to darken earlier. The trees are already completely naked, the leaves have flown around. The sky hangs low in gray clouds. But there are also very pleasant days in late autumn. Suddenly the rain stops and it warms up a little, fog swirls over the ground. Breathing easily ...

Today I propose to draw a landscape that conveys the mood of late autumn, which Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin told us about in his poems:
The days of late autumn are usually scolded,
But she is sweet to me, dear reader,
With quiet beauty, shining with humility.
So unloved child in a dear family
I am attracted to myself ...

For the drawing, let's take a gray-blue tinted cardboard. Use a black wax pencil to draw the base of our landscape.

Let's start with the tree. Let's draw the trunk and branches.

Let's outline the horizon line.

Let's draw a house.

Around the house, a fence.

Let's draw the details of the house: windows, roof.

Draw several large leaves on the tree branches.

We will also add a few leaves to the ground, and a small puddle in the foreground.

Draw clouds in the sky.

Stage two: paint over the drawing with watercolors.
Let's start by filling the background. To get blurry tones, we use the technique of toning paper in a wet way.
I would like to remind you of the raw toning technique. Moisten a sheet of paper with water with wide strokes with a wide brush. Then on a wet sheet we apply paint of the color we need and suitable for the given color of the picture. We apply so that the borders of the paint touch, even slightly overlap each other. So with one color you can highlight the earth, and with the other the sky, and the border between them, it turns out to be blurred.
When painting in gloomy, rainy, cloudy weather, we will use gray, black, purple, brown, dark blue ... a range of colors.
To fill the sky we will use violet watercolor, iron azure and ultramarine.

Paint over the tree trunk. For this we take black watercolor, natural umber and sepia.

Fill the bottom of the picture. For the autumn withered grass we use natural umber and burnt sienna.

We paint over the house. For the walls we use golden ocher and natural sienna; for the roof - dark red kraplak and sepia.

We draw the background. To do this, take a brush with stiff bristles and use the "poke" method to paint trees.

Use short strokes to texture the blades of grass in the foreground.

Paint over the leaves on the tree and on the grass with golden ocher.

Use black paint to shade the foliage of the trees and emphasize the texture of the nearest tree trunk.

For the puddle, let's take the same colors as for the sky: violet watercolor, iron azure and ultramarine.

This can be the end of the drawing, but I suggest third stage: draw the details of the drawing with wax pencils.
Use a black wax pencil to highlight the gray clouds.

Enter black, dark blue and purple pencils at the top of the sky. We put the strokes horizontally, easily. Emphasizing, not overlapping, the texture of the paint.

Draw a black pencil on the trunk and branches of the tree.

Introduce a dark green pencil into the grass.

Use a yellow pencil to emphasize the shadows on the walls of the house.

Looking closely at the drawing, we see that there is not enough foliage on the tree. Therefore, we take a brush with stiff bristles and golden ocher and, using the "poke" method, apply paint to the crown of the tree and under the tree.

Now the work is finished, you can insert it into the frame.

Autumn is a favorite time for many children. Its bright colors and the blueness of the endless sky delight, fascinate and charge with positive. Autumn beauty is reflected in music, poetry, stories and on the canvases of great masters. Children love to transfer their observations of changes in nature to paper. And even if they are not at all neat and somewhere not very beautiful, but this is not scary, because the guys are just learning to pick up a pencil and work with a brush.

Not every child will immediately figure out how best to portray the autumn theme. Parents or caregivers should remind their children of the autumn landscape. You may have to go for a walk together and draw the baby's attention to the shape of the leaves, the color of the trees, and the blue of the sky. Let the child, when he comes home, try to transfer them to paper.
Autumn themes may include a lyrical landscape.

Reflect the melancholy of migratory birds.

... or the beauty of the swirling leaves.

Children's drawings autumn

Children's drawings can convey a sense of longing from rainy weather.

Autumn is a mushroom season, so the beauty of the delicious representatives of late autumn cannot be bypassed.

For many children, the arrival of autumn is associated with the Day of Knowledge.

Autumn pencil drawing, step by step master class

Step 1
Drawing begins by drawing a large "V" shape onto the paper using long, curved lines. Note that the "V" sides are not straight, but wavy. One of the lines at the top has a small branch.

Step 2
A couple of long, curved lines are added to the drawing, which descend from the "V" -shape downward. It is a tree trunk that thickens slightly at the ground.
Step 3
From the upper branches, curved lines of different lengths are drawn on both sides.

Step 4
The two lines form another wide branch extending from the trunk of the tree. Then additional small branches are made.

Step 5
The trunk of the tree is covered with leaves.

Step 6
A dense, irregularly shaped hardwood with jagged ends is added.
Step 7
Fallen teardrop-shaped leaves are depicted under the tree.

Step 8
Fill all bald spots with additional branches, twigs and leaves. Detail the trunk using curved lines of varying lengths.
Step 9
Draw a second horizon line that rises above the first. They add irregularities in the ground and a few fallen leaves on it.

Step 10
A palette of colors is applied to the drawing: from golden yellow or copper to red-orange or brown. In the distance, according to the principle of the given tree, you can add a whole forest.

Drawing golden autumn, step by step with photo

An example of a golden autumn drawing is made in an unconventional technique - painting with a sponge. Such work will evoke positive emotions in the child, and also show how to use familiar objects in drawing.

Materials:

  • album sheet;
  • gouache paint in four shades: red, yellow, green, brown;
  • brushes;
  • two foam sponges;
  • scissors;
  • disposable plates.

The outlines of trees are drawn on the dense side of the sponges. Then carefully cut out the excess parts with scissors.

Three colors are diluted in plates to the consistency of sour cream: yellow, red and green.

Using a sponge, draw a yellow base on the sheet. Then they dip one template of the tree in yellow paint and the other in red and make neat prints on paper.

On the sides of the picture, prints of fir trees are applied and with a long stroke - the remains of green grass.

A little red is added to yellow trees.

At the top, they depict the sun with a brush and draw tree trunks with a brown tint.

At the end, reddish strokes are made at the base of the trees.

Drawings autumn grade 1, 3 options with explanations

Alternatively, a child's drawing can be drawn using a real leaf and paints. To do this, take several sheets of different shapes, apply to paper and draw a contour with a pencil. The middle is painted over with paints with a sponge or brush. Another way of painting is when paint is applied to the wrong side of the sheet and pressed against the surface of the sheet. The drawing is obtained with an imprint of sheets of different sizes and shapes.

Landscape "In the garden"

At the bottom of the sheet, draw the outline of the hill. Then a counter line is drawn on the right side.

In the middle of the junction of the two hills, another smaller one is depicted and two arched on the sides.

Drawing a tree starts at the base of the trunk.

Curved lines represent the main branches that are inside the trunk. On both sides of the main branches, small branches with curved ends are drawn.

Leaves and fruits are added to the branches of the tree, several of them have already fallen to the ground.

For the design of the picture, autumn colors are chosen: yellow, brown, red and orange.

Collage of leaves

Leaves of various shapes and sizes are collected for work. Place one of them on a flat surface and cover with paper. Carefully hatch the paper surface with crayons or oil pastels so that the shape of the stencil appears. Then the sheet is removed from under the paper and the next one is placed. It can be painted in a different color.

Drawing of autumn grade 2, 3 options with explanations

Autumn drawing with cotton swabs

Materials:

  • watercolor paints;
  • watercolor paper;
  • painter's masking tape (optional);
  • straws;
  • cotton buds;
  • wide brush;
  • water.

The edges of the sheet are pasted over with masking tape in order to have a work with a clean frame at the end. For a beautiful graduated base, the leaf is first moistened with plain water and then a little color is added. While the paper is wet, paint the clouds, then let it dry.

On the lower half of the leaf, yellow, green and red shades are applied for the horizon. Again leave work to dry. Mix the black ink with water to the consistency of ink. A little paint drips at the bottom of the work. Then they give the children a tube so that they “blow out” parts of the trunk and branches. Add paint where necessary. Let the work dry.

Apply the yellow and red "leaves" to the tree with cotton swabs.

Leaf under foil

The work looks original with a leaf placed under a thin foil (the top should be shiny). Use your fingers to gently iron the metal material to develop the pattern. Then the base is covered with a layer of black gouache or ink. Leave the work to dry and gently pass over it with a metal washcloth. The veins will become shiny and the depressions will remain dark. Then the relief is placed on cardboard.

Tree in autumn

The following work was done using common salt. To begin with, the sheet itself is moistened with a sponge, paint is applied and the wet background is sprinkled with salt.

After 10 seconds, the salt is shaken off, and the workpiece itself is dried. The contours of the grass and wood are applied, and then painted in mixed autumn colors.

Drawing autumn in kindergarten paints:

Any children's autumn drawing, drawn with paints or pencils, is replete with bright colors. Someone associates their favorite time with rowan bunches, someone associates it with a dull rain, and for others, this is the mushroom season. Kindergarten kids are just beginning to master the technique of drawing with paints, therefore, simpler works are chosen for them and ready-made templates are often used.

younger group, step by step

Personal autumn drawing

On a brown sheet of paper, the child traces his palm. Then it is cut out and glued to a white background - this will be the base of the tree.

With the help of a wine cork, colorful circles are randomly applied around the crown.

Autumn tree

The technique of drawing such a tree is so simple that even a three-year-old will master it. For work, a barrel template is printed, paint, a brush and a round brush are prepared.
Paints of different tones are squeezed onto separate plates: yellow, orange, brown and red. The brush is dipped into one of the flowers and applied to the tree, depicting leaves. Then the trunk of the tree is painted brown.

Finger drawing

Children can convey their vision of the world with the help of fingerprints. Drawings in this technique are unique and unique. Initially, objects are depicted by handprints, and then they are transferred to finger drawing. For work, special paints are selected that are safe for the baby.
A brown tree trunk is depicted in the center of the leaf. Then, dipping fingers in yellow and red tones, they leave impressions of multi-colored "leaves" around it.

middle group, in stages

The educational program of the middle group necessarily includes an autumn theme. For work, they use a variety of techniques and an unconventional approach.

Painting with a wax candle

To work you need:

  • a sheet of office paper;
  • candle;
  • paints;
  • autumn leaves of different shapes.

The sheet is placed under the paper and rubbed over the surface with a candle. The print is covered with paint. Where the protrusions have formed, gaps will remain. Repeat similar steps with other leaves.

Green leaves are used for painting, because dry crumble when pressed.

Technique for painting with wax crayons

To depict the sheets, you will need office paper and wax crayons.

The sheet is covered with paper and chalk is driven over it until an impression appears.
For brightness, a white background is glued onto colored cardboard.

Autumn landscape

Materials:

  • sketch of a tree on paper or cardboard;
  • brown pencil or oil pastels;
  • Finger paint;

The baby's hands must be washed before changing colors.

To begin with, draw a tree outline on paper or print a ready-made template. The trunk is covered with brown pencil or oil pastels.
On the palette, brown, yellow, red and orange finger paints are prepared.
Dip your finger in one of the colors and press it against the paper. One or all fingers can be used for painting.
Colored prints are made until the tree is filled with autumn leaves. At its base, yellow paint is applied with one stroke of your finger.
You can add fallen leaves to the landscape, or paint on birds and clouds. At the end, the work must be dried.

senior group, master class with photo

The technique of drawing in the older group is a little more complicated. If a tree is transferred to paper, then the peculiarity of the structure of the crown, the thickened trunk and its own color of the bark are already visible in it. In children's drawings, the proportion, the composition "close-far" and the possibilities of color must be maintained.

"Wet" autumn landscape

Materials and tools:

  • watercolor paper;
  • soft brushes with a pointed tip;
  • Toothbrush;
  • a set of watercolors and a palette;
  • a glass for wetting and rinsing brushes.

The brush is dipped in water and moistened well. The tree will be made in the form of an arbitrary accumulation of clouds, so it's not worth fearing that the child will ruin the work.

The watercolor overlays on top of the previous wet coat of paint. This painting technique is called "wet on wet". For foliage, a combination of yellow, orange and olive green is used.

Mix a little brown and black to get a gray-brown shade and draw the shape of the trunk and several branches with a brush.

Then proceed to the funniest and easiest watercolor painting technique. A wet toothbrush is dipped in yellow and, holding the bristles with a finger, they begin to spray paint over the surface of the paper.

Repeat the same work with orange and olive flowers. The toothbrush gives fine foliage a hazy effect.

The larger spray is done with two crossed brushes.

It is better to start the work with lighter colors and have another damp brush without paint on hand. It is used to soften transitions.

Floral prints

Using fruits and vegetables, you can create interesting prints on paper. This technique will certainly appeal to children.
Materials:

  • fruits (apples, pears, oranges, bananas, lemons);
  • vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, potatoes, carrots, corn, mushrooms, Chinese cabbage);
  • knife;
  • cutting board;
  • white cardboard;
  • paper sketch (optional).

At the stage of cutting vegetables and fruits, children need help from adults. Before work, fruits and vegetables are washed and dried. Approximate cutting:

  • apples and pears - cut in half lengthwise;
  • bananas - in half;
  • oranges and lemons - half-and-half across;
  • corn - in half, insert a tube for the handle;
  • pepper - half-and-half across, remove the seeds;
  • Broccoli and Cauliflower - Divide into individual inflorescences
  • mushrooms - in slices or in half length;
  • potatoes and carrots - in quarters or specific shapes, such as a flower or a star.

Place the paint in shallow containers. Sketch the drawing on paper. The fruit or vegetable preparation is dipped into the paint, evenly distributing it over the surface. The template is pressed tightly against the paper, making an impression.

Vegetable broccoli prints are perfect for trees, while rolling corn is perfect for the grassy layer.

Drawing with cotton swabs

A relatively new technique of children's creativity - drawing a picture on paper with paints and sticks is very popular with children. For such creativity, paper, cotton swabs and gouache diluted with water are needed. Dot patterns are applied to the sheet slightly wetting.

All work was done with cotton swabs.

Beautiful pictures of autumn, photo

Children's drawings have a special spirit. There are no rules, canons in them, only inspiration and a child's spontaneous soul.
An autumn pattern can be voluminous or supplemented with natural materials: leaves, seeds and small fruits.

Multi-colored shading is another technique when the colors of felt-tip pens, pencils and even gel pens are mixed in the process.

It is commendable when parents support children's creativity. It not only brings people closer, but also expresses individuality and helps to cope with emotions.

If you have always wanted to learn how to draw, but for some reason you didn’t succeed, then our article will definitely come in handy for you. Here you will find simple drawings of golden autumn with a step-by-step explanation.

Even without having a special talent for drawing, you can draw fairly simple but beautiful drawings. There are already many articles on our site that explain in detail how to draw various drawings with pencils, gouache or watercolors.

This article will help you draw not very complex autumn landscapes with colored pencils and paints.

How to draw a beautiful autumn landscape of nature with a pencil step by step for beginners?

Now we will tell you how to draw a bright autumn landscape using the most common simple pencils that you can buy at any stationery store.

On a blank sheet of paper, we first outline the approximate location of our fence. To do this, draw a short vertical line below the middle of the sheet and slightly to the right. Then we draw a horizontal stripe crossing it and two stripes at the bottom, going to the vertical one.

We outline the trees. To do this, draw, as shown in the figure, two vertical lines. We draw a crown for trees - large ovals of irregular shape. In the background, mark the forest with a curved horizontal line.

We draw the fence in detail. There should be 7 vertical stakes in total. The two lower horizontal lines that we drew at the beginning are rods behind stakes. We also outline them. Under the fence, you can mark the grass.

We make our trees voluminous - we add a lush crown, not very thick trunks. Be sure to draw branches in the crown so that the drawing looks more natural. In the foreground, mark the path. You can take the path into the distance, or you can do it as in the photo.

... "There is nowhere in more detail." So this part of the work could be called. All the details that were conceived must be transferred to paper. These are clouds, drawing of leaves, bark, grass in the foreground. Draw a little bird on the fence.

Take the eraser and remove all unnecessary strokes. so to speak, "clean up" the drawing. The lines should be smooth, single. Since a person is not a robot, the hand of even an experienced artist can sometimes tremble and give out not perfect lines.

We take 5 colored pencils: 3 shades of green (from light to dark) and two shades of yellow (one lemon, the other warmer, a mixture of lemon and ocher). And with the help of these pencils, with vertical short strokes, we begin to draw the grass in the foreground and in the far. Please note that the grass in the foreground is drawn in more detail, as opposed to the far one.

With the help of red, gray and yellow we draw a path and stones. We leave a few red small spots on the path - these are fallen leaves.

Draw the trunks and branches of birches with a black pencil. Do not forget that the birch trunks are painted with stripes (we use black and gray pencils for this), and the branches can be drawn in black. At the bushes, paint over the trunks brown.

Now we play with colors! We take green, brown, red, orange, yellow and lemon pencils (if there are more shades in the set, use them too!). With all these flowers we draw the crown of trees and bushes. To do this, remember autumn and the colors the foliage is usually painted with in autumn. For birch, you can take yellow and orange, for the rest of the bushes - red, green, yellow, lemon, brown gray. Burgundy, marsh, emerald are also suitable. Finally, add colors to our bird.

Draw our fence using gray and brown pencils. Do not forget that the fence is in the foreground, which means it must be drawn well enough and in detail.

With the help of green, yellow and orange pencils draw the background. And in the background we have a forest. Draw such a forest so that looking at it, you would like to go there.

At the beginning of the work, we outlined the clouds with a simple pencil. Now with the help of blue and purple we will paint the sky and those very clouds. With light vertical movements of the blue pencil, outline the sky, and with even lighter movements, but already with a purple pencil, add volume to the clouds.

Bring the drawing to perfection, correct minor flaws. The purple pencil on the clouds can be lightly shaded with your finger or dry brush. The drawing is ready! Now you can draw a simple autumn landscape with a box of crayons!

How to draw a beautiful autumn landscape of nature with paints, watercolors, gouache? Step by step for beginners?

What kind of gouache drawing can even a beginner draw? The answer is: "One that does not contain clear lines, forms and can be almost anything, depending on the mood and desire of the author of the work!" In this part of the article, we suggest you learn how to paint a beautiful and colorful landscape using a brush and gouache.

We take two colors: blue and white. We mentally divide the sheet horizontally into two halves, the top should be slightly smaller. Now, with wide horizontal strokes, paint over the upper part with white gouache, and the lower one with blue.

We create the background. Now our task is to mix these two colors, to make the transition smoother. Continue to go white with the same wide strokes on the blue part, the colors will begin to mix and get a gradient. Highlight the middle with white color, as shown in the figure.

At this stage, we mark the horizon line and right on it with the help of white, gray and brown colors, we mark the forest in the background with strokes. With a pencil, we mark a tapering path to the horizon from the near edge of the sheet. Draw trees along this path with a thin brush and black paint. Try to make the trunks not equally straight. There should be bends, fractures - everything to make the tree seem "alive".

Let the trees dry out and literally press the leaves into the paper with yellow paint. To do this, take a pony brush No. 4-6, dip it in water, then dry it with a towel or rag, make the brush fluffy by running your finger over it a couple of times and dip the brush in the paint. Then with this “tousled” brush with paint we put “blots” on the paper in the places where the foliage should be, as in the photo below. These "blots" are the leaves.

In the palette, mix yellow and white paint until a light yellow pastel shade is obtained. In exactly the same way as in Step 4, we mark the background. On the path marked with a pencil, draw the reflections of the trees.

Add red and orange to the work. Several strokes in red into the foliage of the nearest trees. Divide the asphalt on each side visually into 3 sections, separated by blue. We paint over each section in red and orange. You can make a few strokes of yellow paint in the foreground on the asphalt - these are fallen leaves.

We mark the border as shown in the picture, add more detail to the work. You can add more leaves, add a few twigs to the trees.

Now your work is finally ready! Let it dry and frame it.

If such a drawing seems too complicated for you, then try to draw a simpler version - just a very beautiful tree.

Take clean watercolor paper, visually mark where your tree will be located. We recommend choosing a place for it in the middle. Now we take the yellow watercolor, dip the brush in water, then in paint. We need an additional item: a toothbrush, a stick, a ruler, in general, something that you can knock on lightly. We bring the brush as shown in the figure and tap the paint onto a sheet of paper with a tapping motion.

Add another color - red. We get beautiful splashes.

Important! Do not brush too much water on the brush, otherwise the drawing may turn out too blurry!

Add green, orange and a few drops of blue to the yellow and red.

You can add a few more colors: pink, lilac, malon.

Using a spray gun, we slightly blur the crown of our future tree so that the colors are not so bright and beautiful overflows are obtained. It is enough to sprinkle the drawing with water only 2-3 times.

When the paint spreads a little, let it dry, before that, blending it a little with a brush.

Draw twigs here and there with a thin sharp brush. Mark the trunk and the ground below with brown paint - the tree is ready!

How to draw an easy landscape in autumn with a pencil for beginners?

The landscape that we suggest you draw below is actually quite light. And our step-by-step guide will help you avoid mistakes in your work. Good luck!

Mark the horizon line just above the middle of the sheet. Then, with an inclined line, we designate the foreground - a hill where our trees will grow.

We draw the silhouettes of the trunks with two vertical lines. We try to avoid straight lines.

We will have a lake between the hill and the horizon. We mark its far and near coast on the left side.

To the right, in the distance, you can also see the distant coast. Mark a low forest at the top of the bank, as shown in the picture.

In the foreground, where we have outlined the hillock, draw the grass. This is quite easy to do. Again, try to avoid straight lines.

Now try to draw as realistic as possible, as long as your skills allow, to draw tree trunks with branches. The tree on the right should be wide enough.

Now finish painting the left tree. In some places on the branches draw leaves, draw leaves of the same shape on the ground near the tree. Where you drew the grass, draw in addition the reeds.

Shade the lake with wide strokes, not tightly, with a simple pencil, leaving a large distance between the lines.

Take a simple pencil and shade in the hillock that the trees are on. Do not forget that the shadow from the trees will be darker.

Shade the distant plan, disassembling it in shadows. Paint over the reeds with a shade of medium intensity.

Paint the entire background, including the lake and the left bank of the lake, as shown in the picture. And try to make part of the lake along the banks a little darker than in the center.

Shade the sky with gentle pressure on the pencil. Then, with a little more pressure on the pencil, draw light clouds.

Using the eraser, highlight the small circle on the left, as shown in the picture - this is the sun. Now the atmosphere is not so dark, and your drawing is finished! Congratulations!
