Competitors:

Both adults and children can take part in the competition. No age restrictions have been established.

Competition works:

Audio and video recordings of performances are accepted for the music competition. Both soloists and musical groups can take part in the competition.

Participation rules:

In order to take part in the competition, you must:

1. Fill out an application for participation in the competition, upload the work and a document confirming the payment of the registration fee.

Registration fee is paid for each work participating in the competition. If the work is co-authored, then the authors are issued a single diploma. If each author needs an individual diploma, the registration fee is paid according to the number of authors of the competition work.

2. After filling out the application for participation, a notification about the acceptance of work for the All-Russian competition will be sent to the e-mail address indicated by the participant within one hour.

3. Competition material can be submitted to the competition in any format. The amount of data should not exceed 80 MB. The participant of the competition can use the resource for storing files (youtube.com, Yandex.Disk, Files.Mile, etc.) and send a link to the competition material to the competition (a file in doc or rtf format containing a link is uploaded to the application).

4. By submitting an application for participation, the participant of the competition gives his consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Law of 27.07.2006. No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data".

Winner's reward ceremony:

1. The results of the competition are published on the website of the Center in the section within 5 working days from the date of completion of the competition.

We invite young and young vocalists to take part in a unique competition. Nomination - pop vocals.

This competition was created to give talented performers a real chance to become famous. We do not promise this to everyone. But we will do our best for the best.

In the jury of the competition, we invited established Russian pop stars, Western musicians, famous producers, representatives of central television, influential people in show business, talented and already announced young vocalists, as well as representatives of the press.

We will provide information support to the most talented performers on radio stations supporting our competition, on thematic Internet portals, in the well-known print press, we will give the opportunity to record a song in one of the best studios in Europe, where world and domestic stars were written, including the Russian track for Eurovision.

Technical requirements:

• Any performances with a "plus" soundtrack are prohibited.
• Instrumental or vocal dubbing of the melody performed by the contestant is prohibited.
• The presence of "backs" in the phonogram is allowed only for soloists and duets. However, dubbing the vocal parts of the contestants is prohibited.
• It is forbidden to use "backs" for trios, quartets and quintets in the phonogram.

Application regulations

To participate in the competition, you need to submit an application through the online form on the website and pay for registration before October 31, 2018. All required fields of the application must be filled in. Attention! Only 80 contestants can take part in the competition (in total for all age categories). This is done so that each participant can receive brief comments from the star jury. After 80 participants have been recruited, applications will be closed.

The order of the competition and the assessment of the competitive performance:

• Registration of participants opens 1 hour before the start of the performance.
• Before the start of each nomination, lists of competitors are posted, defining the order of performance.
• Evaluation of the competitor's performance is carried out immediately after the song has been performed.
• The jury members give marks in an open form, using points from 6 to 10.
• Awarding takes place immediately after the completion of the performance of all participants in the age group.

The aim of the competition is to find, develop and support young talented performers of popular music, jazz, rock and other progressive trends.

Children, adolescents and young people between the ages of five and thirty are invited to participate in the competition. An application for participation can be submitted on the official website of the competition goldnota.ru.

The Golden Note competition was first held in 2014, during which time more than four hundred contestants took part in the project. The jury of the competition included famous musicians, producers and cultural, art and sports figures. In May 2017, the members of the jury will be mainly the winners and participants of the "Voice" show, and other stars of the domestic show business.

On May 19, 2017, the Golden Note competition will be held at its unchanged venue, in the center of Moscow, not far from Chistye Prudy, in the concert hall of the Igor Sandler Production Center. The participants of the competition will take the stage, where all the Eurovision participants, BlackStar musicians and many other stars of the national show business have rehearsed their programs. This room has hosted press conferences for bands such as the Scorpions, Slade, Deep people, producer and sound engineer Jimmy Douglas, who has worked with Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, and many other world celebrities. Hola !!! Hello everybody! With you Dayana Hernandez and my column "Fashion and Style". And again we are with you in the center of the largest and most interesting events.

December 5, 2014 in Moscow, when the whole country is immersed in the pre-New Year bustle, the first international competition for young and young performers in the direction of pop vocal "Golden Note" started at the Igor Sandler Production Center. The competition was attended by performers of four age categories: Kids under 9 years old, children from 10 to 12 years old , young performers from 13 to 15 years old and young performers over 16 years old. The jury included art workers, famous producers, Western musicians, television representatives, such as: Iosif Kobzon, Bari Alibasov, Mikhail Grebenshchikov, Alexey Glyzin, Natalya Terekhova, Artur Berkut, Maria Katz, Victor Chaika, Nikita Presnyakov, Alexander Levshin, Victoria Pierre-Marie, Leonid Melnikov, Eddie Butler and of course Igor Sandler himself. The participants came from 26 cities of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, accompanied by their parents and vocal teachers. Behind the scenes there was a professional bustle, someone was chanting before going out, someone was having their hair done, someone was spinning in front of the mirror, checking whether all the elements of the stage costume looked decent. Who do you think was the most nervous !? These are, of course, adults who sincerely worried about their children, grandchildren and students. Oddly enough, the participants behaved confidently in an adult manner, or at least so it seemed to me.

And finally, the members of the jury took their places in the hall, the backstage plunged into silence, the friendly voices of the hosts announced the first performer, Valeria Baryshnikova, with the song "Vanya". It was a 13-year-old girl who, at first glance, did not stand out from her peers, who came to the competition from the city of Penza. Unfortunately, I cannot convey with what polyphony the hall was filled, it was a delight !!! The participants, one by one, surprised the guests and jury members with their vocals and self-sufficiency in choosing the business they are engaged in ...

As hard as it was for the contestants to keep the “Golden Note”, it was so hard for the jury to give their preferences. But what to do about the competition remains a competition !!! What the jury members paid attention to when evaluating the number, I managed to find out.

Viktor Chaika - Composer, musician, poet, singer and finally a producer, first of all evaluates the vocals, since this is the essence of the competition. As a collection of the number as a whole, it pays attention to how much, the song is correctly selected in relation to the tonality and timbre of the voice. And finally, a stage costume, which completes the whole number. Victor is sure that most of the contestants are potential stars of our stage !!! The main thing is hard work and faith in your star !!!

When talking with Bari Karimovich Alibasov, it was hard to be serious, every comment and discussion of what was happening was accompanied by jokes and funny facts from his career. But this did not make him a less strict and demanding member of the jury, in between performances everyone needed relaxation and Bari Karimovich understood this very well.

It was very interesting to talk with Artur Berkut, a Soviet and Russian rock musician. As Arthur told us that even in the presence of indisputable vocal data, he always tries to look deeper, to discern the inner world, the performer's charisma. And when I am convinced, - says Arthur, that the voice sounds in the air with a soul, then this is aerobatics !!!

Maria Katz was sincerely and emotionally worried about the guys, although the singer herself was a member of the jury. As Maria explained, “Golden Note” is not the first competition that she evaluates. Repeatedly she was a member of the jury at the International Children's Festival of Arts and Sports "Kinotavrik", many Moscow and regional competitions. But in spite of the fact that she understands very well why she is here and what she is doing, she really cares for the guys.

I myself have been studying vocals since I was 5, - says Maria, and even then I confidently chose a profession for myself. And believe me, I was not always on this side of the stage and I feel very well all the excitements and experiences that these young hearts are now experiencing.

After talking with many guests, participants and members of the jury, I decided to ask my main question to Igor Borisovich Sandler, a Soviet and Russian musician, music producer, honored worker of culture of Russia and a person who lights the stars.

Dayana: Igor Borisovich, if a child loves to sing and he succeeds, where to start in order to achieve such success as our competitors have achieved?

Igor Sandler: It is imperative to work in this direction and not be lazy in any way. Where there is laziness, there is wasted time! Where time is wasted, there is lost opportunity!

Dayana: And what needs to be worked out first of all?

Igor Sandler: First of all, you need to contact a good vocal teacher, but after that the painstaking work will begin. It is necessary to put the vocal apparatus, to deliver the breath correctly, and to form the sound correctly. Singing constantly, playing etudes, scales, turning to vocal exercises. Patience and work will grind everything !!!

Dayana: Please tell me when evaluating the performances of the contestants, do you make allowances for the fact that they are still children?

Igor Sandler: Well, of course, we do not make a big indulgence, children remain children. Young performers should be given a chance to realize their talent and their creativity. Children try, they do their best, but not everyone succeeds for different reasons. Someone is worried, someone is a little flawed somewhere, but nevertheless we try to judge strictly. If there are errors, then of course we try to point out these errors in order to exclude them in the future.

Have you ever wondered what criteria the jury members are guided by when awarding certain points to the participants of certain competitions? If you carefully read the comments of professional people with whom I was able to communicate, then you can make a logically correct conclusion. There is a basic criterion - vocal and voice data, but that's not all. The performer must conquer the audience with a complete, complete number. Some of the jury members pay attention to the level of artistic performance, some to the possession of stylistic features, some to acting and image. And it is from such important components that the number and the evaluation score for its performance are born.

The XI International Vocal Competition for Young and Young Performers "Golden Note" was held on March 16, 2018 at the Igor Sandler Production Center. Among the jury members were Eteri Beriashvili, Sergey Belikov, Dmitry Chetvergov, Alexander Kushnir, Margarita Pozoyan, Sergey Galanin, Sharif, Mariam Merabova, Alexander Levshin. Representatives of the Igor Krutoy Academy were also present and presented one of the contestants with their special prize: an invitation to participate in the selection round of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The jury members and organizers of the competition managed to become real friends for the young participants in these few hours: they asked questions and gave not only professional, but also life, human advice. At first glance, Alexander Zhurbin, stern at first glance, repeatedly raised the plate with the maximum assessment, not hiding his emotions from the performances of young artists. Arthur Best's refereeing became a kind of intrigue: the singer, who has incredibly strict requirements for himself, just as meticulously assessed others, giving everyone the expected "top ten" only a few times during the competition.

- I give nine points just when I like everything. It stimulates to develop, - explained Arthur.

Despite his skepticism and high demands, Arthur noted the performance with the song “When We Were Young”, Sergei Mazaev happily sang along to the song “Sweet Dreams”, and the whole audience applauded the young violinist performing Konstantin Kinchev’s song “Sky of the Slavs”.

“I am very glad and pleasantly surprised that so many debutants participated in the competition this time,” summed up the results of the “Golden Note” Igor Sandler. - I am glad that all these performances were strong and bright. The guys are very talented. I hope to see them at our next competition.
