Scenario for a stylized "wild west" party. Cowboy party for adults at your home Quest in Western style scenario

Idea: Hosting a party in the style of the Wild West. This scenario can be adapted for both a children's party and an adult party.

  1. Invitations. Gather your friends and family to your Country Party with personalized invitations. We offer you an example of such an invitation, which you can download directly from our website and sign in this style. It will be more interesting if you put something in the envelope along with such an invitation: a cowboy scarf, a sheriff’s badge or Western-style confetti - stars, cacti or cowboy hats and boots. #
  1. Use your imagination to come up with some really interesting invitations. Here are some ideas for you:
  1. Design Western WANTED posters for your party invitations! Include all the party details in them, roll them up and wrap them in bandanas. Use colored paper or parchment for this, write in black ink.
  1. Another idea for an invitation to such a party is a message in the form of a cow bell. Buy jingle bells, paint the guest's name on the outside, and attach the party details to the tongue on the inside. Send the bells by mail or deliver them in person. You can find these bells in a gift shop.
  1. Another idea for a unique invitation is multi-colored cowboy hats for each guest with all the party details written on paper that needs to be folded and tucked into the inner lining. Be sure to ask your guests to come to the party wearing an invitation (with a hat, not a paper on their head).
  1. Whatever invitation you choose, ask your guests to come dressed for the occasion. Of course, you, as the owner, should wear the following: jeans or denim (skirt or pants), fringe, cowboy boots with spurs, bolo tie (in the form of a lanyard with an ornamental clip), sequined cowboy hat, holster, leather pads trousers.
  1. Decorations and decorations. At the entrance, display a huge banner with greetings such as "Welcome to the Good Old Wild West." Before entering, set up a life-size cardboard cutout of a celebrity dressed as a cowboy so that each guest can take a souvenir photo with the famous figure! You can also place a large laundry basket in front of the entrance with bandanas (multi-colored head scarves with white designs) and cowboy hats so your guests can fill in any gaps in their cowboy attire.
  1. The ideal party location for your favorite cowboys was a rented barn, stable (not working) or farm (also not working). But this is unlikely to be possible in a big city, so be prepared to create a lot of decorations if you want to give your party a real Wild West flair. In the absence of a farm, a large hall or dining room with a spacious interior is best suited for such a party. Set up a small stage in the center of the hall and place several haystacks around it. Also, place real (if possible) or large cacti in pots cut out of paper or foil throughout the room. You can scatter plastic or rubber toy snakes all over the floor. If possible, install a real saddle on one of the stacks.
  1. Here are some more ideas for decorations:
  1. Use various Western-themed items you've seen in movies: Remember the little wooden shutters at the entrance to any bar or saloon? Or a bar counter? They can be used for the same purposes - instead of (or on) the door and against the wall (on the wall - if these are painted decorations). And to enhance the impression, hang a large Western-style poster on the wall.
  1. Hang posters all over the walls. You can personalize them by depicting the host or hostess of the evening.
  1. Hang “Cowboy Room” and “Cowboy Girl Room” on the restroom doors.
  1. Using a rope, make several lassos and hang them as garlands.
  1. Don't forget about the music: turn on CDs with country music (Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson).
  1. Table and menu. On top of the red tablecloth, cover the tables with more gingham cloth and pure red and pure white napkins for added chic. Another option is denim. You can even use Sheriff's stars as napkin rings.
  1. It would be great if you could find disposable cardboard plates somewhere with a bandana, cowboy hat or cactus design, and similar cups, as well as mugs in the shape of a cowboy boot and cactus, and toothpicks with tips in the same theme.
  1. Cacti make a great centerpiece for your party table! Wrap colorful bandanas around your cactus pots and stick miniature spurs into the ground, found at your local toy store. With this you can achieve an amazing effect. Don't forget the western confetti - it's also a great technique! You can also use a composition of balls in the appropriate theme, a haystack or a huge decorative boot with a spur filled with sweets or souvenirs for the central element.
  1. You can use plastic or cardboard horseshoes or boots as name cards for the table, or you can also use our option for a name card.
  1. The most common type of food for a Western party is something roasted whole on a grill or spit: chicken, sausages, chops, skewers, or the like. Whatever it is, be sure to season your dish with barbecue sauce. You can also serve: chili, stew and boiled beans. Don't forget about different sauces for chips and other seasonings (mostly hot ones). You can also serve dishes in a very unusual way:
  1. Place a cowboy hat on the table, place a small bowl of sauce on the top, and pour a lot of chips on the brim.
  1. Place the other cowboy hat upside down, cover it with a napkin, and fill it with candy or some other treat. If you doubt the reliability of the napkin, you can simply place a bowl with the contents in the hat.
  1. Wrap bandanas around other bowls and place them under all other plates of food.
  1. Games and entertainment. You can hire real professionals who know how to square dance and can teach your guests a few steps.
  1. Game "Gold Rush". As you know, the first settlers in the Wild West were looking for gold. This game will remind everyone of those fun times; both adults and children can play it. You will need: a large box of sand, a sieve, trays, toys, coins, crystals, polished stones. Rules of the game: bury toys, crystals, coins and pebbles in a box filled to the brim with sand. Give each participant a sieve and tray. Participants must use a sieve to scoop sand and find treasures to place on a tray. Limit your time for this task. The one who finds the most valuable things wins.
  1. Game "Haystack with a surprise." This game is similar to the previous one, in which all participants must rummage through a haystack to find their prize. You will need: 4 or 5 haystacks, wrapping paper, toys, gifts. Wrap small cowboy-themed souvenirs (water pistols, a bag of gold chocolate coins, glass souvenirs, country music CDs, etc.) in wrapping paper, hide your gifts in haystacks, set a timer for 5 minutes and turn on catchy music. If participants could not find all the gifts in the first 5 minutes, arrange another round. Give consolation prizes to those who didn't find anything in the stacks.
  1. Game "Top Shooter". What you need: Empty drink cans, water guns, water, rope, paper and pen. Rules of the game: It is better to play this game outside. Place empty cans in a row on a flat surface, each participant armed with one water pistol. Provide some kind of container of water so they can load their pistols. Place a rope on the floor - this will be the line from which the participants will shoot. For each jar knocked down, the participant receives one point, which is recorded in his account on paper. Several rounds are held, or the competition can be arranged in such a way that those who miss are eliminated from the fight. In any case, the most accurate shooter wins.
  1. Game "Wild West". This is a classic game. It is also best played outside. You will need: horseshoes, stakes, ropes, a log, water pistols, empty drink cans, a table and chalk. Rules of the game: place empty cans in one row on the table, make a lasso from a rope and place it not far from the log (instead of the log you can make a cardboard horse), and at the very end of this path with obstacles, stick a stake into the ground. The task is as follows: the participant must run this path for a while: he must hit one jar with a water pistol, then catch the “horse” (log) with a lasso and at the end he must throw the horseshoe on the stake so that it lingers on it ( and did not fly past). You can make 2 such paths and divide all participants into 2 teams, the one who completes the entire task the fastest wins.
  1. Dance marathon "Quadrille". You can have a dance marathon. The point is that all the guests are divided into pairs, each pair is assigned a number that needs to be hung on the partner’s back, a CD with country music is turned on and the guests begin to dance, no matter whether they know how or not. The team that lasts the longest in the dance wins.
  1. If you have a stage, then you can put on a real show - a talent competition, let everyone show what they can do and don't forget about the prizes: cowboy hats decorated with badges and ribbons, CDs with country music, chocolate coins and horseshoes for good luck (iron , wooden or cardboard).
  1. Also, as a farewell and lasting memory of your party, you can give each guest souvenirs: bandanas, hats, a small pot of cactus, etc.

The cowboy theme also includes such characters as Indians, a sheriff, noble ladies in 19th century dresses and corps de ballet dancers.

During the official part, the bride and groom can wear dresses in the style of the 19th century, but for a cowboy party they can change clothes: the groom is a brave cowboy (name of the groom) from the clan (last name of the groom), and the bride plays the role of a beautiful spring flower (time of birth and name of the bride ) from an Indian tribe (the bride's surname).

At a stylized cowboy wedding party, you can use songs from the film “The Man from the Boulevard des Capuchins” and, of course, country music. The main musical instruments of this style are guitar, banjo, violin, which will sound impressive in a live performance.

Picnic at the ranch or horseback riding through the canyon

Guests are invited to dress up in cowboy outfits, travel back a couple of hundred years, take part in competitions and taste a rare steak in the spirit of a real Western. Music and an hourglass can become a symbol of movement in time and space. The time transfer process is best done before entering the ranch. Each guest wears some accessory of the era and is given a canvas bag in which to place gold coins obtained in competitions. Coins can always be exchanged for more valuable trophies from the newly married cowboy couple. Post notices everywhere about the gold rush that has gripped the city and about the upcoming auction. At the end of the evening, bartenders Joe and Joe will hold an auction at which cowboys will be able to take possession of valuable trophies: an exclusive CD with country music and autographs of a loving couple, a piece of wild coyote skin in the form of fur slippers that brings good luck, a unique cocktail list from a cowboy saloon. Rider competitions and a real rodeo can take place with the participation of the guests themselves or as a demonstration performance.

Cowboy wedding party

As the sun begins to set over the edge of the wild prairie, everyone is invited to relax in the saloon at a real cowboy party in honor of the wedding of the famous most loving couple of the Wild West. But not only fun and relaxation awaits guests. We managed to get on the trail of the mysterious Sioux tribe, which, according to legend, is the keeper of the secret of the ancient Incas, the prophecy of which promises endless happiness to its owners. We have to find this tribe and solve the mystery.

Western Wedding Party Decoration

Wood, leather, cacti, horses and whiskey are the main theme that can be used to create a Wild West atmosphere. You can use anything: signposts on wooden planks, horseshoes, cart wheels, horse harnesses, cacti on tables instead of ordinary flowers. You can stretch a skin on the wall, about which the presenter will tell a separate legend - whoever touches this skin of a wild coyote will be haunted by good luck all his life. As souvenirs, you can give out fur slippers made by the Fortunata Indian tribe from a piece of this magical wild coyote skin.

Don't forget to open the cinema for the cowboys and show silent films, for example, the story of how the newlyweds met.

The saloon should serve whiskey with a wedding name label and intricate cowboy drinks based on milk, lemonade and juice under unusual names: veal joy, veal swill, cowboy soul, Indian prairie fire, etc. In addition to the cowboy-style menu, you can hang greasy jokes and jokes about cowboys on the walls of the saloon.

Appeals to the bride and groom exclusively in the spirit of the Wild West: the groom is a brave cowboy (groom's name), a storm of the Wild West from the clan (groom's surname), the bride is a beautiful spring flower (time of birth of the bride and the bride's name), the daughter of an Indian tribe leader (bride's surname) ). The newlyweds are the famous most loving couple of the Wild West. The parents of the newlyweds can be dressed up and presented as a sheriff and the leader of an Indian tribe. The host encourages guests to use cowboy words and wishes in a Western style: I swear by the bloodthirsty coyote, the main thing is that the hat is intact, it’s time to wet your throat, we wish you vast prairies and fat bison, purses full of gold, rich trophies, hardy mustangs, a rich ranch, fertile lands, green pastures, peace pipes with everyone.

Parents greet the newlyweds with a bean pie - a symbol of home, fertility and a rich life. The newlyweds treat all the guests and invite them to wet their throats.

Having visited the cowboy ranch, everyone plunged into real cowboy life, but in order not to make a mistake on our journey through time, it is worth remembering some of the subtleties of the world of western and country. Cowboy themed quiz.

Of course, a party in the style of the wild west, which will allow you not only to watch other people's adventures, but also to take part in them!

Decor

The Wild West is a broader theme than a cowboy party. Therefore, it is advisable to divide the space into zones, otherwise the design will turn out chaotic. But if this moment doesn’t bother you, you can put it all together – fun madness on a recognizable theme.

Many decorations in the Wild West style will have to be made by hand, so preparations for the party need to start in advance. Through the network you can order small things - garlands, flags, disposable tableware.

We offer design ideas by zone. You can choose what you like and distribute it randomly around the room. Or stop at one or two options.

Prairie

  • on the wall a poster with photos, paintings with views of deserted expanses;
  • cacti made of cardboard or balls;
  • bison, mustangs, whatever – photos, toys, silhouettes;
  • horned Texas bull skulls, cut out of white cardboard or papier-mâché;
  • imitation of tumbleweeds from branched dry bushes or coarse threads planted with glue on top of a balloon.

A suitable background for atmospheric photos in the style of the wild west. It’s also convenient to hold competitions here (nothing gets in the way).

Indians

  • fake tomahawks, bows and arrows, spears. Toys, drawings, cut-out silhouettes;

  • peace pipes, totems, dream catchers, feathers and feather headdresses, amulets beads;
  • for photos - life-size cardboard Indians, pie;
  • eagle, snake, bear (skin?), owl and other totem animals;

  • the central element is a decorative wigwam. You can borrow from friends (for children) or make it yourself. At a Wild West themed party, this is one of the brightest and most noticeable decorations! Lay down a blanket, throw pillows with Indian designs, and organize a fire.

How to make a wigwam:

  • A rug with a number of corners from 3 to 6, sew a strong loop to each corner.

  • Assemble the slats into a house and tie the top. Insert ends into loops. Under their own weight, the slats will “stretch” the rug to the sides, preventing the wigwam from falling.
  • Throw a fabric of a suitable color, leaving a gap. To prevent the fabric from slipping, sew ribbons on top and tie them to the “crown”. If you need the awning to sit tighter, pierce the fabric in several places and tie it to the slats.

For a fire you need a flashlight (preferably a short one), 4 1.5 liter plastic bottles and lumps of wood. Cut off the bottom and neck of three bottles. Stepping back 5 cm from the bottom, cut the top part into “flames”.

Insert two bottles into the first one, squashing them a little (the fire will be “more luxuriant”). Paint the fire, place the switched-on lantern in a support bottle with the top cut off, and insert a “flame” into it. Hide the bottles behind the logs, folding the fire pit (only the “flame” should be visible).

Saloon

  • hats and neckerchiefs, lasso, belts, weapons, horseshoes on the walls(drawings, made of cardboard). Place wildflowers or sunflowers in your cowboy boots, hang a pair of worn-out raincoats on a rack near the entrance;
  • photos of party guests in Wanted portraits, Wild Wild West inscriptions, paintings in the style of the Wild West, portraits of charming girls (barmaids, dancers);

  • real or fake stuffed eagles, animal skins, bison heads, deer antlers;
  • aged wood for decoration with the inscription Saloon, guitars, mandolins;
  • if you don’t have a real one, organize a miniature bar counter. Place several dusty bottles and plates with nuts. You can hang a background behind the table - an image of a cowboy bar;

  • boxes with the inscription TNT, barrels, oil lanterns, candles in iron mugs or greasy bowls, fake gold bars and dollars everywhere;
  • To make a wild west style cowboy party bright and festive, decorate everything with garlands and balloons. For garlands, any paraphernalia listed above. Or red and white checkered triangles - hang textiles of the same color instead of curtains, use them in the design of compositions.

Ranch

  • cart wheels, saddles, harnesses, lasso, elements of a cowboy costume;

  • poultry, cows, horses. If you cut out a couple of horses from cardboard and put up a decorative fence, you will get a corral;
  • straw, pitchforks, buckets, fruit boxes, pumpkins and everything associated with a rural atmosphere.

Wild West ranch decor is ideal for an outdoor party, especially in a private home. But it’s not difficult to create a recognizable ambiance indoors either.

Invitations

Any recognizable paraphernalia is suitable for an invitation. For example, a card with text can be placed in a denim pocket or a card-boot. Sheriff's personalized stars: The bearer has free entry to the party and exciting fun!

Or a WANTED poster, photo of a guest, text: Wanted for forced transport to the Wild West! An invitation in a recognizable style is easy to make with your own hands; the shapes are simple: a wigwam “vest”, a hat with text on the brim, a cactus in a neckerchief.

Suits

Cowboy clothing is so popular that there is something suitable for almost everyone. You can come to a party in jeans, a plaid shirt and a hat - almost ready-made suits. A fringed chapa, a belt with a heavy buckle, cowboy boots and a neck scarf will complete the look.

This look is universal for women and men. But for coquette girls, denim, leather or suede shorts/skirt are more suitable. The shirt can be tied in a knot under the chest. Let your hair down in strands or put it in braids.

In addition to cowboys of both sexes, a wild west party can be attended by:

  • rural beauties in modest long skirts or sundresses;
  • real ladies in fluffy dresses;

  • gamblers, bandits and other dubious characters;
  • the sheriff himself, the buffalo traders, the bankers;
  • dancers, barmaids in full skirts with frills and very open tops;

  • Indians and squaws, both very modest and practically in an Eve costume - a short top and a fringed loincloth, a feather headdress, accessories made of leather or wood.

Ideas can be found in Westerns; similar clothes are sold in regular stores. Just don’t forget your weapon, because going to the wild west without it is fraught with consequences! If you don’t have time for suits, limit yourself to hats and scarves + denim in any design.

Menu, serving

There are endless options for decorating dishes in Indian and cowboy style! But the theme presupposes originality, rustic simplicity, so it is advisable not to go overboard with decorations (unless the party is for children, of course).

Any format is suitable - barbecue, buffet, full-fledged feast. A checkered tablecloth, simple dishes, wildflowers. You can buy stylized plates and glasses. It’s better to put drinks in boxes/buckets with ice, pour them into kegs or pot-bellied cans – at least for the ambiance.

  • tie the necks of some bottles with checkered “shawls”, decorate others with a feather “tuft”;
  • attach several feathers to long skewers - you will get arrows and spears for kebabs;

  • small chocolates in gold foil and walnuts in yellow glaze - bars, nuggets(in a transparent container);
  • pictures for toothpicks – sheriff star, boot, hat, cactus, etc.. Cookies of the same shape. It’s easy to make wild west-style molds with your own hands from aluminum strips (cut the can);
  • Using a syringe and icing makes it easy to draw Indian patterns on cookies. It is not difficult to fashion themed figures from mastic;

  • Pimpled cucumbers can be used to make funny cacti (secured with toothpicks), wafer rolls can be used to create wigwams, and black and white chocolate can be used to draw cow skin on cupcakes.

Farm menu, simple recipes - lots of meat, cheese, vegetables and fruits. You can limit yourself to barbecue or hamburgers, or even light snacks - chips with sauces, nuts, crackers and other snacks. Drinks - beer, whiskey, wine for ladies, non-alcoholic - any fruit juices and milk for ambience (strawberry, chocolate).

Entertainment

We recommend starting your wild west party scenario with an important announcement: “A gold mine has been discovered right under our feet!” For a mini-quest, hide chocolate coins here and there in advance; guests will find them throughout the holiday. The luckiest one will earn the title "Fortune's Favorite" or "Best Gold Digger".

If the company is friendly, include the spicy quest “Robbers” in the script. Give the girls paper sponges and the guys hearts (≈5 cm, small). You need to hide them on yourself however you like (in your pocket or neckline?). The girls' goal is to steal as many hearts as possible during the party; the guys steal kisses. And two titles at the end: “The most clever robber”, “The most charming bandit”.

A plot scenario in the style of the wild west can be built on a confrontation between two factions, cowboys VS Indians, collecting pieces of a stolen totem, returning a stolen herd (1 element per competition). But game scenarios are usually more interesting for children. And if the party is only for adults, competitions without a storyline will suffice.

Download country music and several soundtracks from popular westerns. Wild West music will enhance the atmosphere and lift your spirits with incendiary rhythms. And what would you do without dancing at a themed party?

If possible, set up a table or bring a poker set with you - no Western movie would be complete without this game. The hookah can easily pass for a peace pipe. Any competition is suitable, but several in the style of the theme will emphasize the surroundings.

Accuracy check

It is not necessary to limit yourself to one option, quite the contrary. What Indian or cowboy would miss an opportunity to prove his superiority? Compete individually or in teams, increase the distance, limit attempts.

  • polystyrene foam + picture of a bandit or bison on thin paper, spear darts;

  • mop/children's horse in a bucket, lasso;
  • a stick from a children's pyramid, throwing horseshoes (can be cut out of cardboard and glued in several layers);
  • throw the hat on the cactus;

  • coins in a tin can, in candles from a water pistol - a classic of the genre;
  • bow and arrows with suction cups, knock down a plastic toy. Pneumatic bottles are also great, but only in the first half of the party.

Horse racing

  • gymnastic balls with “ears” holders;

  • on a chair, bouncing his butt on a foot pump, to the hose of which a ball is attached. Who will burst theirs first?
  • Bolivar cannot withstand two people tied with one rubber band (his own right leg + the left leg of his competition partner, and to the finish line);
  • girls on guy horses.

Who's behind the cactus?

Cardboard cactus ≈30 cm and smaller pictures. The presenter substitutes the picture so that the guests see only the peeking fragment. Animals, fruits, objects - anything.

Some pictures are deceptive. For example, a fox’s tail is visible, but the succulent hides not Patrikeevna at all, but a half-naked girl in a fox costume. Or the tail of a mouse is actually the tail of a watermelon. Who can guess the most, and just laugh at the unexpected answers.

Bison hunting

Relay race for two teams. 1 long ball or wooden horse + spear (a stick with a needle/button at the end). The finish is a bison pattern with holes into which the tails of balloons are inserted.

Ride to the “buffalo”, burst 1 balloon, return, pass the props to the next one in the team. The team that bursts all its balloons faster than its opponents wins.

Brand a cow

An ownerless herd was discovered in an open field! To claim it as yours, you need to put a stamp on it. But only one thing - twice branded cows become the property of the leader.

Distribute stamps to guests (in children's stores, cheap ones). They should be of two types if there are two teams (to know whose mark is where). Balloons act as cows. In a race to cheerful music, we poke the seal into the still-no-man's cows. At the end, the team gets credit for the balls that only have their “stamp” on them. Who stole more cows?

Milk the cow

Laughter guaranteed! Two (or for each guest) drawings of a cow on a cardboard with a hole in a known place. Fill a rubber glove with milk, pull it through the hole and tie several knots to prevent it from falling forward.

Before starting, distribute needles/pins and milk collection containers to participants. The winners are whoever milked it first and who did the most. And the hooligan version is the sexiest milkmaid (milkmaid).

Present: keychain, lighter and other souvenirs in a cowboy style, a horseshoe for good luck, a bottle of good whiskey, leather jewelry and accessories in the style of the wild west.

December 24, 2015

Would you like to be transported for a day to those times when stern men talked about matters of honor, women were proud and daring, and the real fun was not nightclubs, but country dancing, shooting tin cans and chasing the worst enemy - the Indian?

Why not? Without stereo systems, lights and computer games, people knew how to really have fun! Nowadays it’s not like that: nowadays pathos, glamor and extended body parts “rule”. Therefore, if your birthday is in the warm season, and you want open-hearted fun, here is a good option for Wild West themed parties!

In order not to miss anything important, I suggest this scenario:

1. Time of year and time of meeting.

The optimal time of year to hold a Cowboy Party is summer. Meeting time – 12-14.00. Costumes must be prepared in advance, so guests will only have to put on their outfit and arrive on time. Please note: the most suitable day of the week is Saturday. Surely your party will turn into a daily marathon of entertainment, so Sunday will serve as an excellent healer and “sleep” before Monday!

2. Invitations.

Be creative, but don't overthink it. Draw the attributes of the holiday (cowboy hats, boots, funny Indian) or print out a coloring book for children with suitable characters.
For the invitation base, use scrapbooking paper (in country colors) or regular craft paper.
Write the text with a liner (capillary pen) or colored felt-tip pens.

Greet guests by forcing them to introduce themselves at gunpoint. You can come up with a password, something like: “I am Walker, Texas Ranger!”, and for the Indians: “I am the leader of the Cheyenne tribe!”

3. Take care about costumes!

Naturally, for everything to look natural in the spirit of the Wild West, everyone must be prepared both externally and internally. That is, be cheerful, loud and always ready to pull a pistol from a holster or an arrow from a quiver.

Read more about images.

Cowboy man: jeans, sew on fringed overlays, wide leather belt, plaid shirt, neckerchief, cowboy hat. Cowboy-style leather boots are desirable. If they are not there, choose shoes with long toes: what if the boots are hidden under wide jeans?

You can also add characters such as sheriff(what without a servant of the law?)
And bandit(who, of course, is wanted for a hefty reward!).
Cowboy woman: almost everything is the same: jeans or denim shorts (skirt), a plaid shirt (or a blouse with a deep neckline and ruffles), cowboy boots, wide leather bracelets, a gun holster or a rough belt, “natural” makeup (but red is allowed pomade). Hair is loose or braided in two braids. A cowboy hat would also be appropriate.
If girl "not a cowboy", replace some elements with a similar country style: a knee-length or floor-length skirt, a thin blouse (light or colorful), maybe a denim vest or jacket. The hairstyle is the same.
Indians: these costumes are more difficult to construct. The ideal option is to rent it. You can try to make an outfit from scraps of brown fabric (preferably suede) and any available material (feathers, bright jewelry, paints...). Perhaps there are sandals with high ties. Pay due attention to your makeup! This is half the image.
In case those invited do not find some small but important attributes, stock up and be ready to hand them over at the entrance.
To better get used to the role, invite guests to watch several films - classics of the relevant theme (westerns): “Buffalo Bill and the Indians”, “Pancho Villa”, “The Long Way Away”, “The Lone Ranger”, “Once Upon a Time in the West”, “Good , bad, evil”...

4. Venue and decoration.

The ideal place for a Wild West-themed party is a cottage (in cowboy parlance: “family ranch”). The holiday will be noisy and loud.

You will have to work hard, since the area that needs to be prepared is very large. A room in a country house, or an equipped tent should be decorated with red flags, wildflowers and spikelets should be placed in vases made of vines, and bright feathers can be added. If you can organize a counter in the style of a retro bar, it will be a wonderful highlight of the party! Hang retro curtains. Cover the furniture with tablecloths of a characteristic color: red and white checkered or retro flowers. Bales of hay will look harmonious both in the yard and near the festive table (this is not European-quality renovations for you!).

Hang something like lasso, cowboy hats, horseshoes throughout the area, and place rows of tin cans or beer bottles on the fence.
At the entrance to the courtyard, hang a large "Wanted" poster with a photo of one of the guests (see who will choose to play the bandit). Be sure to indicate the amount of the reward (preferably in kopecks: so many zeros, but real if the Hero demands the entire amount). Organize a couple of beautiful targets (easy to make from polystyrene foam and paint it), and also place cacti throughout the yard (of course, from polystyrene foam, draw the needles with a marker - it will turn out very funny!). On the street, conditionally divide the territory into half cowboys and Indians. For cowboys, a haystack and wooden benches. For the Indians - a wigwam and a fire. All this can also be easily built using a simple scheme.
Organize colorful retro posters.

5. Music.

Entertainment is necessary and important. First of all, it's loud music. Remember how much space is occupied by waving your arms and skipping, which they call dancing! By the way, it wouldn’t hurt to watch a couple of videos before the holiday; it will be great if many people pick up the songs, the dances, and the spirit of the reckless people! Suitable tracks will be hits from: Anne Murray, Gene Watson, George Strait, selectively songs by Madonna, Pink, as well as tracks from the mentioned films!

6. Entertainment.

We start talking about competitions a few hours after the start of the celebration: let the public adapt and get used to the roles. If we talk about two warring “groups” (cowboys and Indians), who today decided to reconcile for the sake of a common friend (the birthday boy), then the competitions must be chosen correctly. Cowboys and Indians must compete, otherwise the specialness of such an unusual company will be lost. I offer the following options:

Competition "Who is more". Two teams throw into tin cans. The team with the most coins in the bank wins.

Competition "Bullseye". The cowboys take turns firing five shots from children's pistols, the Indians from a bow (it is quite possible that the bow will be a problem - stock up on darts!). Each one has his own target. The one with the most “wounds” wins. If both teams hit (all five times), then the one who hit closer to the center of the target.

Competition "The candle was burning." Two people (one from each team) must put out three candles using a water pistol from the same distance.

Competition "Drive me, horse." Each team has a horse and a rider (a guy and a girl, respectively). It's simple: we run to the fence and back. The fastest horse wins. In the second option, two participants must ride a wooden toy horse. (26-2)

Competition "In Search of Treasures". Give two teams a poorly drawn map that they must use to find the treasure. Whoever figures it out faster takes the treasure. A bottle of good alcohol acts as a treasure.

The team that scores more points receives a gift. Let it be something edible, otherwise it’s hard to please 5-6 people at once. If the award is for one person, it could be a modern cowboy-style hat, a leather belt or a flask.

Be sure to think about what songs you can sing around the evening fire. Or maybe your company loves scary or just interesting stories...

7. Menu and drinks.

Cowboys, like Indians, are people with an appetite. Save the light appetizers for a French-themed party. Coarsely chopped meat, barbecue, baked chicken thighs, shish kebab, balyki, and ham will be popular here. Stews and pilaf with vegetables in large containers are also suitable.
Don’t be afraid to add some spice to your dishes – it’s appropriate today! Drinks also require a choice. Cowboys go great with tequila, whiskey, beer and (yes!) milk! The latter is generally their native drink. But the Indians have their own favorite “drink of the gods” made from cocoa beans and various spices. In short, make them cocoa; without it, the Indians did not have a single feast.

Finally. Don't forget to take a lot of photos. They will certainly turn out to be exclusive.

Let your friends appreciate your hard work and you'll have a great time kicking your heels off the hardwood floor and shouting that "if there's no meat in the roast beef, it's not roast beef" or "The sheriff doesn't care about Indian problems"!
