Military clothing is a guarantee of high combat effectiveness of military forces. Global reform of the Russian army uniform

The modern history of Russia has several unsuccessful attempts to dress up servicemen. While in our country a lot of money was spent on unsuccessful attempts, in the US army the clothes of the military became better: convenience, operational characteristics increased, innovative materials were used, etc.

Modern military uniforms began their journey in 2007, when Anatoly Serdyukov held the post of Minister of Defense. A large-scale sketching competition was organized, in which thousands of designers from all over the country took part. The Ministry of Defense chose the sketches of the famous designer - Valentin Yudashkin as the winner.

For the next 2 years, specialists were engaged in the development of final versions of a new army uniform, which was supposed to go on to further equip the Russian army. The result is a kit that looks a lot like American military clothing. The developers did not agree with this opinion, although many factors spoke in favor of this option.

The winter military uniform caused particular discontent. She did not protect the soldiers from the cold. For this reason, the Department of Defense received many complaints every day about the inadequate quality of the winter kit. This led to an outbreak of colds among the military in one winter. The complaints were about the appearance: numerous stylistic solutions were copied from the kits of other countries. The stumbling block was the quality of the fabric and thread: new military clothing quickly fell into disrepair.

Negative reviews, dissatisfaction of soldiers and army specialists made the Ministry of Defense think about changing equipment. The decision to take as a basis american clothes it was bad, such costumes did not fit the conditions of our country. New set military uniform consisted of 19 parts. The approximate cost of one set is 35 thousand rubles. The parade version did not undergo any special changes, since it is the field version that is of particular importance.

The first change that caught my eye was the change in the location of the shoulder straps. In 2010, the NATO option was proposed, the pagons were located on the "belly". Many servicemen did not like this, as they were "used to seeing shoulder straps on their shoulders." Fitted chevrons are located on both sleeves. The addition was the appearance of fitted overcoats, quickly fastened elements of clothing with Velcro. For the first time in history, Russian officers received warm sweaters. It was not possible to completely replace the footcloths and boots.

Valentin Yudashkin was accused of the failed project of a new military suit. In 2012, he spoke to reporters, telling them that the clothes put into use are very different from his version. The new generation of military uniforms was developed based on the feedback of thousands of soldiers from all over the country. The form of the sun has become multi-layered. This allows each soldier to independently choose the necessary items of clothing, guided by the goals and objectives set for him, as well as weather conditions.

The modified set includes the main suit, several types of jackets, boots for different seasons and more, including a balaclava, synthetic belt and quality socks. The sewing of military uniforms is carried out from a blended fabric, which includes 65% cotton and 35% polymeric materials.

Every soldier had Russian military clothing of a new design at the end of 2015, as previously planned by the Ministry of Defense. The change of equipment took place in three stages. In 2013, 100 thousand new kits were issued, in 2014 - 400 thousand and in 2015 - 500 thousand. For 3 years, a million military personnel were provided.

Kits for wearing at different ambient temperatures

The military uniform of the new model is presented in two sets:

• Basic uniforms for wearing at temperatures above +15 degrees Celsius;
• Multi-layer system for wearing at temperatures from +15 to -40 degrees Celsius.

In the winter season, soldiers use lightweight or fleece underwear sets. They are used depending on the temperature indicators. In particularly cold areas, both sets of underwear can be worn on top of each other.

NCOs, soldiers and cadets are deprived of their everyday uniforms because they are not needed. Alternatively, they are encouraged to wear winter or summer field gear.

The military uniform of this type of clothing in the winter period of the year provides for a gray coat for the military (blue for the Air Force and Airborne Forces). A demi-season jacket is provided for the autumn period of blue color, for rains in summer time years - an elongated raincoat that does not allow moisture to pass through. Modern office uniform

Military uniform care

What is determined by order Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Military clothing of the Russian Federation is divided into several types, for each of which special requirements and rules of wearing... The rules apply not only directly clothes, but also hats, shoes, belts and other accessories.

Basic concepts and features

Military clothing of the Russian Federation and the rules for wearing it are approved by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 2010. According to this, the clothing of military personnel is divided into several types:

• front door;
• field;
• casual.

In addition, each of these options has summer and winter version.

Some elements of the military uniform of the modern armed forces of the Russian Federation have survived from the time Russian Empire and the USSR. In particular, it comes about the colors used, signs of belonging and some other components. In recent years, the shape has changed somewhat.

Guidelines for wearing military uniform garments apply to the following persons:

• military personnel who serve in the ARF;
• cadets of the Suvorov schools;
• pupils of the Nakhimov schools;
• citizens who are dismissed from military service or transferred to the reserve with the preservation of the possibility of using military uniform.

In the presence of special conditions, in particular, when the military is on the territory of garages, docks, laboratory, in warehouses, airfields, in medical institutions, on ships and on the territory of military units, according to the instructions of the commanders, it is possible to use special clothing, working form, and additional funds for personal protection depending on the specific situation.

As such clothes can be used elements of military uniforms and shoes, which have lost the terms of their wear, but still fit for future use.

An exception is also situations in which military personnel are on the territory of sports grounds or gyms, or they take part in sports competitions. In this case, they are allowed to use for this sportswear.

Important: The insignia of servicemen can only be placed on a military uniform that meets all the specified requirements.

Features of wearing clothes

The rules for wearing military uniforms determine the procedure for using hats, shoes, accessories and clothing itself.

Wearing hats

The following are advanced for wearing hats requirements:

• Hats used with a golden cockade.
• Headwear from karakul with a visor, they are used with a gold-colored cockade.
• Hat with ear flaps in the presence of field conditions, it is worn with a cockade of a protective shade.
• Hats with earflaps with ear-flaps down are used when the temperature is below -10 degrees. Wearing hats with "ears" tied at the back is allowed when carrying out technical work, when economic activity or under other similar conditions, as confirmed by the decree of the commander of the military unit.
• Woolen caps worn with a golden cockade.
• Woolen garrison caps are worn with a golden cockade and white or blue piping.
• Cotton caps applied with a golden cockade.

Rules for wearing outerwear

Wearing accessories

• Gloves used in the winter for building. In other situations, wearing gloves is not charming.
• Belts used over coats, jackets and jackets.
• Colour socks depends on the color of the military shoes.

Regardless of the type of military uniform, the clothing of military personnel must be clean, serviceable and ironed... It is strictly forbidden to wear shoes, clothing or accessories with damage, dirt or signs of wear.

Military personnel also cannot combine military uniform with other items of clothing that do not comply with these rules. Military personnel also forbidden use awards, decals or any other elements that are not related to the specified requirements together with the military uniform.
