- Indeed, we had different opinions about where to move the show next. I think every project needs to be updated. Since 2009, as a producer who brought the show "Ural dumplings" to STS, I have been constantly engaged in the formation and updating of the project: graphics, decorations, shooting techniques, editing and so on, to make it relevant and modern.

I had different proposals for "Dumplings" for development. For example, for everyone to do their own project, or to do a project with young comedians, who, to begin with, introduce them into our show, make documentaries and feature films. - We have always discussed development issues with the whole team. As a result, we decided to take a break, tried to discuss our differences, and in the spring I learned about the first lawsuits.

- I really have projects that I have long dreamed of realizing. And during this pause, I began to make them more active. But I have always been involved in both "Ural dumplings" and my own projects.

- Do you know Alexey Lyutikov, who runs the Uralskiye Pelmeni Production company? class = "_">

- Yes, I do. He joined me at First Hand Media in 2014 as an executive producer. And I entrusted him with the production of the show "Ural dumplings", taught and showed how and what to do, shared the secrets and experience of creating the show, which was accumulated over five years. He was with the company until the fall of 2015. But then we had disagreements with him, as I was not satisfied with the quality of his work on the creation of the new project "Fathers and These".

- You are legally savvy. Indeed, there is a text and there is a graphic trademark. In 2015, lawyers and management of companies producing shows (First Hand Media and Idea Fix Media) initiated a technical procedure for combining signs.

For example, we made a mini-series "Seasons of Love" for the "Domashny" TV channel, we are preparing for the production of the full-length comedy "March 9", and we are actively developing the "League of Improvisations" project.

- We are currently negotiating with several channels. We think it will be an hour show. This is a completely new project for our television. There is a feeling that this project should work out.

All proceeds from the TV show went into the piggy bank of these firms. The key complaint was this: Netievsky "received income from the sale of the show on TV channels, hiding it from the team for three years."

Pelmenei lawyer Evgeny Orlov assured that the ex-producer had stolen "a not fundamentally huge sum, several million rubles." Netievsky launched a retaliatory attack - to the court. He stated that he was dismissed, firstly, without a quorum of votes and, secondly, he was not notified of the date of the meeting 30 days in advance. The court reinstated the producer in his post and collected from former colleagues in his favor 300 thousand rubles - for legal costs. After which Netievsky was fired again, and he again proved the violation of rights. Realizing that porridge with "Ural dumplings" can no longer be cooked, in the fall of 2016, Sergei left voluntarily.

The team filed a class action lawsuit with the Moscow Arbitration Court and demanded that they retain the rights to the Uralskiye Pelmeni trademark with themselves, and not with Netievsky. The court refused. After that Sergey gave the team the right to two trademarks of Uralskiye Dumplings, asking for a symbolic sum of two rubles.

But the litigation did not end there.
