All-Russian Children's and Youth Military Patriotic Movement of Youth Army. Youth Army

Youth Army- All-Russian military-patriotic social movement, created on October 29, 2015.

The main declared goal of the movement: to arouse interest in the younger generation in geography, the history of Russia and its peoples, heroes, outstanding scientists and military leaders. Any schoolchild, military-patriotic organization, club or search squad can join the movement. It is assumed that members of the movement, in their free time from studies, will engage in volunteer activities, take part in cultural and sports events, receive additional education, and first aid skills.

The head of the General Staff of the All-Russian military-patriotic movement is Dmitry Trunenkov.

Regional headquarters are open in all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Chief of Staff of the Regional Branch St. Petersburg Korovin Igor Vladimirovich gave an interview about the movement "Youth Army" Internet portal "Best of St. Petersburg"(May 2017):
(http://bestspb.ru/ru/intervew-yunarmiya.ru.php):

Igor Vladimirovich, please tell us about the Youth Army movement?

Youth Army is a social movement created on the initiative of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, approved by the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin. Participation in our movement is voluntary, activities are regulated by a single charter. We have no government involvement. The founders were 2 legal entities - the Union of Veterans of the Armed Forces and DOSAAF, and 4 individuals - Valentina Tereshkova, Artur Chilingarov, Valery Vostrotin and Svetlana Khorkina.

On May 28, 2016, the first meeting took place, at which a decision was made to establish the Yunarmiya movement, in the summer the organization was registered with the Ministry of Justice (Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation), and from September 1, 2016 they officially began to work. Branches of the Movement have been created in all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

What are the tasks of the Movement?

The main task of the Movement is the initial military pre-conscription training, which includes both the physical and intellectual development of young people, the formation of correct life views in the broad sense of the word. In addition, "Yunarmiya" is a good alternative to the street, computer games and Internet communication - our children are busy, participate in real life. Many children like cars, tanks, pistols ... Young Army members have the opportunity to safely study weapons, military equipment, shooting at the range ... In addition, they gain the most important experience of teamwork. (link "Subject, goals and objectives" in the Appendix)

What is the structure of the Yunarmiya movement?

The leader of the Yunarmiya movement is Defense Minister Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu. All important decisions of the Movement are made at the All-Russian Youth Army rally. At the first youth rally, on May 28, 2016, the General Staff and the Chief of the General Staff (located in Moscow) were elected. Then there are regional meetings in the constituent entities, at which, in turn, the regional Headquarters and the Chief of the regional headquarters are selected - a regional office is formed. The third link in the structure is the Local Departments under the municipalities, working directly with the primary organizations - detachments.

St. Petersburg is somewhat specific in terms of administrative division: we have 18 districts and 111 municipalities. The schools are subordinate to the city (committees, district administrations), and the municipalities are currently unable to provide financial assistance to the Yunarmiya - they have withdrawn money for patriotism. There is a law on patriotic education, but you can only finance events in which Yunarmeytsy can take part.

There is also a Security Committee that deals with conscription. I am a member of the city draft board. Since we are preparing future defenders of the fatherland, we must be responsible for the result. We also interact with military enlistment offices. The Ministry of Defense in each constituent entity has created a department for patriotic work, the priority of which is "Yunarmiya" - it is more convenient to work systematically.

Igor Vladimirovich, is the work in regional associations the same, or is the specificity of each city and region taken into account?

All associations are guided by a single charter. If we talk about Petersburg, then our city is unique, giving great opportunities for studying the history of Russia, the history of the fleet, the history of the army ...

What is the function of the school teacher who forms the detachment?

The teachers supervise the detachment. This is mainly a teacher of life safety, or a head teacher for teaching and educational work. Sometimes even the director is actively involved in the life of the youth detachment, for example, School No. 210. Often teachers, before admitting children, first themselves want to understand and feel the work of the movement. This is very correct and responsible!

Who is the detachment commander, representatives of the military organizations in charge of the detachment?

The squad leader is chosen from among the Yunarmeys, and this is not always a boy. Girls in some areas are more active, responsible. In our detachment commanders there are approximately half of boys and girls.

What is the number of Yunarmiya today?

At the moment there are already more than 100 thousand Yunarmeys across the country, in St. Petersburg we are approaching 2 thousand.

Who and how can join the ranks of the Youth Army?

Any schoolchild - from 8 to 18 years old. In principle, there is no upper limit, but upon reaching the age of 18, a young man becomes an army man and you can join DOSAAF. DOSAAF, according to the charter, accepts from the age of 18. They provide training in military registration specialties: driving, parachute training, shooting, radio operators, etc. Who has what opportunities - DOSAAF is now not in all regions ...

Peter was lucky, we have CSKA and DOSAAF and all the others ... In some regions there is nothing, not even military units, there is an emphasis on the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs ... In principle, you can find an option to work in any region.

Igor Vladimirovich, is it possible to single-handedly join Yunarmiya?

There is such a problem. As we operate according to plan, the squads are being formed in the pilot schools. At the moment we are not ready to accept singles. Until now, we do not have our own base where we could invite them, and besides, it is wrong for children to travel across the city. We plan to expand with the assistance of the Committee on Youth Policy and the Committee on Education. They have their own adolescent youth centers, youth houses, art houses, etc. We are also starting to work with the Palace of Student Youth on Malaya Konyushennaya. And on their basis it is planned to create local branches, they are linked to the Municipal Districts. At the site where the youth class is organized, detachments will be formed and work will be carried out already at the level of municipalities. Local branches with their supervisor and with their own Headquarters will be created when there are more than 5 detachments in the region.

Over the summer (ed .: 2017), we systematize the information received, the programs approved by the Ministry of Education will already be suitable, and then we will have the opportunity to work with “loners”.

Will Yunarmeys have priorities when entering universities, or in other life situations?

Yes, this issue was raised back in September 2016, an order from the Minister of Defense (directive) was to be issued. For each young soldier, a portfolio (personal file) is created, in which it is recorded what courses he took, what results he achieved, in what events he participated ... According to the results, benefits will be provided for admission to the universities of the Ministry of Defense. And along the line of the military registration and enlistment offices that supervise us - the choice of the place of service and the type of troops.

Is the Yunarmiya movement connected with the All-Russian Children and Youth Organization “Russian Movement of Schoolchildren” (RDS), created by decree of V.V. Putin on July 29, 2016?

We are legally two independent organizations. Organizationally, we are considered part of the “Russian movement of schoolchildren”. RDS has a civil-patriotic upbringing, and they are somewhat similar to a pioneer, while Yunarmiya has a military-patriotic education. These are two different directions, but we complement each other and work closely together.

How is the work structured, what are the Yunarmeys studying?

The training program for young soldiers will be designed for three age categories. Every day, hourly, classes will be held in various disciplines, including theoretical and practical parts. Theory is history, military disciplines (military registration specialties), initial military training, pre-conscription training, study of documents. The practice includes the study of technology, weapons, parachute, scuba gear, rock climbing, drill ... All together - this is extracurricular additional education.

In addition, now "Rosmolodezh" (ed .: Federal Agency for Youth Affairs) is dealing with an all-Russian theme - three games will be held among the youth soldiers, according to age groups - "Zarnitsa", "Zarnichka" and "Eaglet", and the game "Victory" (14-16 years old). Three levels - district, city and federal. The best teams will take part in the All-Russian Games. In St. Petersburg "Zarnitsa" did not stop its existence - "Baltic Coast" (ed .: City Center for Civil and Patriotic Education) holds it every year. The new "Zarnitsa" will be more ambitious, the games are planned to be held at the bases of the children's centers "Artek" and "Orlyonok". There is a corresponding training ground in the Patriot Park of the Ministry of Defense near Moscow ... The fireball players are connected, they plan to hold tactical games in the regions.

How was the work carried out in the past academic year, what is planned for the future?

For this academic year (ed .: 2016/2017), the program of "pilot schools" was adopted in cooperation with the RDS. We started working with RDS almost at the same time. I am also a member of the coordination council of the RDS, and in order to roll back the technology of interaction and work, we decided to choose one school in each district. 18 districts - 18 "pilot schools". The Education Committee sent out a "questionnaire" to schools with a proposal to join the "Youth Army". A certain pool was organized from the pilot schools, and we formed detachments at these schools. It is convenient for both children and teachers. But 18 schools were not a limitation, but a reference point. Now more than 30 schools are on the move.

It is more convenient to work with schools for both us and the youth: the children are already there, there is no need to go anywhere, besides there is a place for theoretical studies and practice - sports grounds, a parade ground where you can march. Many detachments take part in "Zarnitsy", reviews of competitions of combatant groups, a banner group, take up post number 1 - "Eternal Flame" ... In St. Petersburg there are many small associations, clubs, classes in schools (cadet classes, Interior Ministry classes, naval cadet classes, etc. others) with elements of military-patriotic work. Our task is to unite them and conduct pre-conscription training and patriotic education according to uniform standards.

Is there any help from the state for the Movement?

We are a public organization - we do not receive financial assistance from the state. The main organizer and inspirer of Yunarmiya's work is the Ministry of Defense, which helps us with all its resources: museums, higher military educational institutions, Suvorov and cadet schools - institutions that are part of the structure of the Ministry of Defense. The Minister of Defense personally oversees all the work on the Yunarmiya, this is one of his priorities.

The commanders of the military districts help us directly, and everyone who is connected with this in the structure of the Ministry of Defense: providing training grounds for holding rallies, equipment, assistance in organizing military training, supervising our troops at training camps, who are directly involved with the guys ... Thus, there is close interaction and networking. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations also help us.

Igor Vladimirovich, are additional financial investments required from the parents, for the acquisition of a youth army uniform, for example?

Parents don't spend a dime. They buy the uniform for us. This issue is resolved in different ways: the Ministry of Defense allocates funds, CSKA, DOSAAF, somewhere schools are looking for sponsors, somewhere municipalities help, deputies of the Legislative Assembly, deputies of the State Duma are involved ...

The form will still be finalized. What we are now wearing is a ceremonial option. It is not suitable for training. We will need a camouflage uniform, in which it will be possible to sit in the trench and climb in the tank.

Ideally, we are going to have several hundred ceremonial sets and give them out for events - children grow up, and it is impractical to purchase a personal set for each child ...

What do you think is the best way to build patriotic work so that the participants in the movement become conscious patriots, and not fanatical companions?

Children, first of all, should be interested, and then the "sown seeds" will fall on "fertile soil." It is important that children actively participate in activities where they can express themselves. Children should broaden their horizons, master additional skills, develop moral qualities, acquire what will be useful for them in life and choose what they could do with enthusiasm in the future.

For example, we have a military-historical reconstruction - this is, so to speak, the study of history "live"; there is search work, when on the battlefield (Nevsky Pyatachok, Sinyavino) the Yunarmeys are looking for the fallen soldiers, trying to establish their identity in the archive, and, if possible, contact their relatives. The guys are happy to participate in these events and search expeditions, not only getting a lot of impressions, but also choosing the most interesting direction for themselves. The knowledge gained in this way about the history of our country is perceived in a completely different way, including the Great Patriotic War - you understand at what cost our grandfathers got the Victory!

Everything in a complex, I think, will give a positive result of the work of our Movement.

In 2016, the all-Russian military-patriotic movement Yunarmiya began its activities in Russia. Although some skeptics consider Yunarmiya an unpromising organization, it has, by and large, managed to unite many small, independent patriotic organizations into one large team united by one idea.

The main task of the Yunarmiya public movement is to educate the younger generation in military-patriotic traditions. For this purpose, young people study a number of military and sports disciplines, study the history of their native country, learn about outstanding Russian scientists and military leaders of the past.

The history of the emergence of the public movement "Yunarmiya"

October 29, 2015 can be considered the birthday of the Yunarmiya movement. It was on this day that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of the "Russian movement of schoolchildren", which became the prototype of the "Youth Army". This structure was to be linked to the following organizations:

  1. Military units;
  2. Military educational institutions;
  3. Aviation;
  4. The fleet;
  5. Army Sports Club.

All of the above organizations should render all possible assistance and support to Yunarmiya.

The public movement "Yunarmiya" itself began its work on September 1, 2016, with the beginning of the new academic year. The uniform, signs, symbols and clothing for the Yunarmiya members were developed by the Army of Russia brand, which also designed the Yunarmiya badges and berets.

The Yunarmiya flag, as well as its emblem, represent a symbiosis of the Soviet pioneer banner and the eagle, which symbolizes the new Russia. The red background color and the star on the flag are unambiguous reminders of the pioneers of the Soviet period.

Schoolchildren who have joined the ranks of the Yunarmiya do not buy uniforms, in the creation of which the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation participated. It is issued at the expense of the state. Schoolchildren are especially proud of the Yunarmiya berets, which remind them of the headgear of paratroopers.

The beginning of the Yunarmiya movement was laid back in the early 90s, when the Young Patriots Movement was created by merging several military-patriotic games, which replaced the country's pioneer organizations.

Why was the Yunarmiya movement created?

The public movement "Yunarmiya" was created with the aim of patriotic education of young people, since this sphere remained destroyed after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The richest history of the Soviet pioneers remained unclaimed. It is no secret that for people from disadvantaged families, public organizations like the pioneers were the only outlet in their difficult life. In the 90s, when there was a deep economic crisis, many young people, left out of work, joined the ranks of criminal gangs or simply drank themselves and became drug addicts. In order to remedy this situation, the “Russian movement of schoolchildren” was created, which was unable to attract a significant part of the youth.

When creating the Yunarmiya, Sergei Shoigu emphasized that the goal of creating a new organization is to educate a generation of patriots who lead a healthy lifestyle and are capable, if necessary, to defend their homeland with arms in hand. Joining Yunarmiya and getting a Yunarmeyts beret is currently the goal of many Russian schoolchildren.

The modern attempt to revive patriotism has begun in the right direction, because only by educating a new generation from childhood in the spirit of respect for Russian traditions can prosperity and well-being of the country be achieved in the future. At present, the number of "Yunarmeytsy" has reached 100,000 and continues to grow. By 2020, more than 100 centers should open throughout Russia, the task of which, in addition to military education, will be the initial training of future pilots, paratroopers and tankers.

Does modern Russia really need the organization "Yunarmiya"

There is no doubt that it is necessary to work with young people, but not everyone considers it optimal to educate the young generation in a military environment. Some believe that the patriotic sentiments that now dominate the Russian youth environment may negatively affect the political situation in the future. Many alarmists openly call the Youth Army a semblance of the German youth movement Hitler Youth.

In contrast to such alarmists, we can say that Russian schoolchildren are admitted to Yunarmiya, regardless of their nationality. Moreover, Yunarmiya is not the only military-patriotic organization in Russia.

For example, now specialized cadet classes have begun to open in schools, in which a number of the following subjects are studied:

  1. Russian history;
  2. Warfare;
  3. Drill;
  4. Basic military training;
  5. Basics of life safety and many other subjects.

You can get into the cadet class only from the 7th grade, in addition, the applicant should not have triplets in his certificate.

Recently, another patriotic project has been gaining momentum, aimed at the patriotic education of older children. This is the delivery of the TRP standards, which is the equivalent of the Soviet war game "Zarnitsa". This game is played on real military training grounds. Some Western experts are seriously concerned about the tendencies of total military training of the Russian population. They believe that Russia is preparing for a massive military expansion. For Russia, such events have only one meaning: to distract young people (and adults too) from the mass degradation caused by excessive drunkenness.

We learn about Yunarmiya from competent sources

To learn about Yunarmiya from reliable sources, you should listen to experts in this field. One of these specialists is Oleg Nikolaevich Bushko, the chief of staff of the Yunarmiya in the Leningrad Region, who has been dealing with issues of patriotic education of children for many years. Here are his answers to the most interesting points related to the work of the military-patriotic organization "Yunarmiya".

The tasks set before the "Yunarmiya" are not only the patriotic education of young people, but also the raising of the prestige of military service. Schoolchildren will learn more about various military professions, can try themselves in the role of military personnel. In addition, the members of the "Youth Army" are healthier and more physically developed than their peers. Nowadays, when the computer has replaced most of the games on the street, the problem of the physical health of schoolchildren is more relevant than ever.

Many citizens of Russia are interested in whether it is planned to attract persons who have reached the age of 18 into the ranks of the Yunarmiya. This question can be answered by the fact that the education of minors is impossible without the involvement of adults and experienced teachers and instructors. There is no “upper” age threshold in the “Youth Army” as such. Those members of the organization who have reached the age of 18 can either join the ranks of DOSAAF and become members of two organizations, or remain an honorary member of the Youth Army as, for example, an instructor.

Many are interested in how the various events of the Youth Army are held. Do youth gatherings take place only in their area, or do members of a military-patriotic organization have the opportunity to travel throughout the country? This question can be answered by the fact that all-Russian rallies are held annually, to which only the best members of the regional branches get.

Do parents often send their children to Yunarmiya or are many afraid of difficulties? Although anyone can join the ranks of the military-patriotic organization, not all parents realize what their children will have to go through. If a child is not attracted to military life, there is no need to enroll him in an organization for prestige. Minor boys and girls, getting to the training camp, live the life of ordinary soldiers, although the training camp usually lasts about 3 days. If parents realize where they are sending their children, and they are happy to share the hardships of army life, you can be sure that Yunarmiya will temper their character. In the barracks, the children eat much better than the soldiers, and their barracks are more comfortable. Of course, discipline in the barracks is like in a real army, but this will benefit most children, teach them independence.

Are modern children, who are spoiled by computer "shooters", interested in military-patriotic games? How do they affect the overall physical health of schoolchildren? The task of the "Youth Army" is not to train high-class soldiers, but to teach schoolchildren basic knowledge of how to handle weapons, how to behave in the event of a military conflict and other similar things. The health of today's children cannot be compared with the health of young people 15-20 years ago. About half of the Yunarmiya members will not be conscripted due to health conditions.

All physical activities that are experienced in military-patriotic games are aimed at strengthening the health of schoolchildren. If you do not pay due attention to physical development at an early age, it may be too late at the age of 18. All members of the "Youth Army" undergo a medical examination at the age of 14, which helps to identify and eliminate many health disorders.

Can children from low-income families count on membership in the ranks of the Youth Army? It is worth recalling that membership in the Yunarmiya is voluntary and free of charge, so the matter is most often in the mood of the parents. Many poor families are also disadvantaged or in a socially dangerous situation. Drinking parents have a very negative attitude towards such military-patriotic organizations, therefore, the percentage of Yunarmiya members from this environment is very small. For single-parent families, where there is only one parent who is not able to buy a child even a public transport pass, you can always find some solution.

As well as a soldier's uniform, uniforms are issued to the "Yunarmeytsy" by the state. They are provided with food, so the only expense in this case is travel money.

Military-patriotic organizations like Yunarmiya are often accused of unnecessarily militarizing children. In fact, there is nothing wrong if a child of 10-12 years old knows the device of small arms and can shoot accurately from them. It is much worse when, when entering a real army, a recruit does not know which side to approach the machine gun, having only a vague idea of how he shoots. It is not worth telling whether there will be any sense from such a "fighter" in the event of a sudden combat threat.

People who know from childhood what a weapon is capable of will not use it for other purposes when they come of age. Modern society has a rather poor idea of what kind of injuries even a traumatic pistol can cause if you shoot from it for the slightest reason.

The military-patriotic movement "Yunarmiya" is, of course, a useful organization that can teach children independence, discipline and organization.

"Yunarmiya" - what is this all-Russian military-patriotic social movement, which in 2016 was established by DOSAAF of Russia on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 29, 2015 No. 536. It is also the higher body of the movement. The headquarters is located at Moscow, Bolshoi Znamenskiy lane, 8.

Before washing, close all zippers and velcro fasteners and completely relax all adjustments. If the upper fabric is membrane, then it is better to wash the product with the lining facing out (turned inside out). Wash in a delicate mode at 30 ° C with a double rinse cycle (it is better to use two rinses to make sure that all residual detergent is removed from the fabric and insulation) and spin at medium speed. It is permissible to use a tumble dryer at medium temperature (40-60 ° C) for 30-40 minutes or until completely dry, if the upper fabric is membrane, it is better to dry the product with the lining outside (turned inside out). You can dry the product while hanging, with the lining facing out. To remove stubborn stains, you can treat the stains with a special compound such as Grangers Performance Wash or Nikwax Tech Wash before washing, allowing the detergent to soak in for 10-15 minutes. It is better to store clothes and equipment with synthetic insulation in a straightened (not compressed) state. How to restore DWR treatment on insulated clothing or equipment DWR is a special polymer applied to the surface of a fabric to make it water-repellent. DWR processing does not last forever. During the operation of the product, as well as after a certain number of washes, the efficiency of DWR decreases. If water droplets stop rolling off the surface of the fabric and wet the fabric even after washing, it's time to restore the splash-proof treatment. We recommend the use of special spray-on or machine-wash formulations such as Grangers Clothing Repel or Performance Repel, or Nikwax TX Direct Wash-In or Spray-On. First, you need to wash the product in accordance with the washing recommendations, then use the selected composition to restore the splash-proof treatment by spraying it directly onto the front side of the product while it is still wet, or by starting a second wash cycle, after having poured the required amount of the wash-in composition into the washing machine ... The manufacturer's instructions for the splash proof treatment on the packaging must be followed exactly. Many DWR recovery products require thermal activation, so it is best to dry treated clothing and equipment in a tumble dryer or oven at medium temperature (40-60 ° C) for 40-50 minutes or until completely dry.

All-Russian youth military-patriotic public movement "Yunarmiya" began its activities in May 2016. The main task was to unite all organizations involved in pre-conscription training of citizens into a single organization. Military and sports directions, designed to educate Russian youth in the spirit of internationalism and patriotism, to instill in the younger generation an interest in the geography and history of their country, its peoples, heroes, outstanding scientists and military leaders, became fundamental in the training program. Involve young people in volunteering and participating in major cultural and sports events.

The number of participants in the movement, according to April 2017, amounted to more than 70,000 people, during the year the headquarters of the movement were opened in all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Any schoolchild, military-patriotic organization, club or search unit can join Yunarmiya, because membership in the organization is open and voluntary.

This year, the Yunarmeys will take part in the parade on Red Square on May 9. Thanks to Yunarmiya, the military-sports game "lightning", which was very popular among young people in Soviet times, will be revived. In addition to games, the youth will learn shooting, medical assistance, map orientation and many other useful skills, and in their free time they will volunteer and work to preserve memorials. For events under the auspices of the movement, the infrastructure of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, CSKA and DOSAAF is used. Military officers of the reserve act as teachers
By 2020, more than 100 centers of military-patriotic education will be created on the territory of Russia, in some of them specialized work will be carried out to train young paratroopers, pilots and tankers.

In more detail, the chief of staff of the regional branch of the All-Russian military-patriotic public movement "Yunarmiya" in the Leningrad region, Oleg Nikolaevich Bushko, answered the question: what is the Youth Army. Oleg Nikolayevich has been holding his position since the opening of the Yunarmiya headquarters in the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg, and has also been working with children for more than 8 years.

Oleg Nikolaevich, what are the tasks set for Yunarmiya?
- Participation in the implementation of state youth policy in order to educate patriotic citizens. As well as increasing the authority and prestige of military service among young people in society, the all-round development and improvement of the personality of children and adolescents.

Are you planning to involve citizens who have reached the age of 18, but who have not entered the ranks of the armed forces and DOSAAF, into the movement?
- Without this, in no way, our children are not independent, therefore, it is necessary that someone guide them, tell them something, therefore in the "Youth Army" there is no upper age limit as such. "Yunarmiya" from the age of 8 and for life.
Upon reaching the age of majority, a youth soldier can join the ranks of DOSAAF, then he will be a member of two associations, or he may not join DOSAAF, remain an honorary youth soldier and become, for example, an instructor.

Do Yunarmiya events take place only in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, or is there an opportunity for Yunarmeys to travel around the country?
- There is a regional branch of St. Petersburg, and there is a regional branch of the Leningrad region - these are two different regional branches. Nobody bothers us to hold joint events with each other or jointly with other branches of our country. At the end of May this year, the All-Russian meeting will be held, which will bring together youth soldiers from all regions of Russia.

This year, in Kovrov, the Yunarmeysky Forum of the Western Military District took place, the next one in May this year will be held in Moscow. This meeting is held for all Yunarmeytsy.
With the assistance of the Yunarmiya headquarters, we receive invitations to all kinds of children's camps in Russia, in particular, the Sestroretsk Border detachment won a trip from May 4 to 25 this year to the Artek international children's center for 10 people. The next trip is planned to "Eaglet".

How willingly do modern families send their children to the ranks of the Young Army soldiers, are there problems with recruits?
- If the goal is to join society in order to simply be included in it, then this is not a question at all, but I would like the parents who bring their children to the Youth Army to understand what the movement is. These are serious training sessions in active military units. Such a training camp took place on spring break in the 138th separate guards motorized rifle brigade, stationed in the village of Kamenka, Vyborgsky district of the Leningrad region, lasted 3 days with 2 nights.
For big and small (under 18) boys and girls, everything was arranged in the same way as for the soldiers. If parents understand this and are ready to send their children to such events, then Yunarmiya is for them.

But many are mistaken, they perceive "Yunarmiya" as, first of all, parades, honor guards and visits to various entertainment events. But in the department of the Leningrad region it is still hardship and deprivation of military service.

However, speaking frankly, one cannot say that children live in Kamenka like real soldiers. They feed very well there, many do not eat like that at home, three meals a day. You have a choice of 2 soups, 2 second, compote, tea or coffee and 6-7 Buffets with all sorts of things: peas, cookies, sweets, etc.
They eat well, live in comfortable barracks, where there is a shower and toilet. Well, what are the hardships and hardships? Only discipline. Lights out in the evening, wakes up early in the morning, then jogging and exercises at the range.

Do you think the subject "Military-patriotic training" is needed at school?
- Rather, we need “Initial military training, as it was in the Soviet Union, with competent instructors with combat experience, so that they can teach children the direction as widely as possible, it is imperative.

Should the subject be required or optional?
- You cannot live in the country and be a patriot voluntarily or at will. It seems to me that if a person lives in a country and is not a patriot, he should seriously think about moving. We have an absolutely free country, but if a person living in it scolds everyone and everything, then he doesn't like it? And if he doesn't like her, maybe he should look for a country in which he likes? Why would he disturb the water here?

How can you teach patriotism? In which grade to teach, in the first or in the tenth?
- Patriotism should be taught in all subjects, but "Basic military training": military regulations, types of weapons, self-defense skills and military history, from which no tactics can be learned. This is what we need.

What are they, modern children?
- We have just been to the Professional Lyceum No. 120 named after S.I. Mosin. I asked the students the question: "Where is Sergei Ivanovich Mosin buried."
Embarrassed, one girl, as if they were extorting some shameful secret from her, said that he was buried in the cemetery in Sestroretsk.
The rest were silent, or giggled, that is, children who studied for a year in an institution named after a person like Mosin, at best, know that he invented something there. Moreover, he did not even invent something, but stole somewhere and said that he had invented it himself.

How interesting is it for children to engage in military-patriotic games, does their physical condition allow?
- For modern children, yes. If we take the same Sestroretsk frontier, we are not CSKA, we do not have the task of training super warriors, super soldiers or super athletes. A good half of the members of the Sestroretsk Border Youth Patriotic Club will not be sent to the army for health reasons. I have no doubt about that, but this does not mean that they should not be admitted to Yunarmiya. In our time, the army should not consist only of "Rimbaud". The army needs brains. A person may be a genius, but have poor health. Why deny him admission to the Yunarmiya? Therefore, the ranks of the Yunarmiya are open to absolutely everyone. A health check is required to diagnose and prevent ailments that nature could "reward" a person.
When we fully organize the work of the movement in the Leningrad direction, it will function not in order to seek out super-soldiers, but to maintain and strengthen the state of health of the Yunarmeys.

The first medical commission, which 14-year-old conscripts undergo at the military registration and enlistment office, can reveal violations that can be corrected by taking the proper set of measures of physical exercise, and at 18 it may be too late.

Can children from low-income families and orphanages get into the ranks of the Youth Army?
- The most tragic example is Andryusha Zhukov, who at that time was one of the main leaders in the group of comrades of the patriotic club "Sestroretsk border". He was from a very dysfunctional family, but preferred the "Sestroretsk frontier" to his drunken mother at home. But, unfortunately, they didn’t save it.
The financial condition of the Yunarmets' parents does not matter, it's all about the parents themselves.

Well, what funds will be required to join the Yunarmiya? Road. Buying a card and traveling by public transport is very cheap. But, as practice shows, either it’s lazy, or people don’t know that there is such an opportunity, they ride a minibus.
The uniform is issued by the government, only the chevrons are sewn at parental expense. Although they are inexpensive, they are wrong. After all, when a soldier enters the army, he is given everything he needs. So it should be in the Yunarmiya. There must be things that must be issued.

Are Yunarmiya accused of militarizing children? How fair is this accusation?
- And what's wrong if a child is physically developed by the age of 10, masters the structure of weapons and learns to shoot well? What's bad about it? Someone thinks that it is better when an 18-year-old idiot, having got into the army, gets a machine gun and does not know how to use it? And he doesn't even know which hole to look into in order to understand whether he is charged. After all, this is absolutely the wrong approach.

In order for a person to handle weapons well, he must know what it is and what it carries, from childhood. At the same time, these should not be just stories, cartoons and computer games, which only “make children brains”. It's another matter if a child, under the guidance of an adult, takes a machine gun and fires at a bulletproof vest. He will clearly understand that although the bullet did not pierce the bulletproof vest, the force of inertia made him fly somersault, and if you shoot at the target from the machine gun, chips will fly away. Then, by the age of 18, he will understand that by buying a traumatic pistol and shooting at someone without thinking, he can kill or severely cripple a person.

From childhood, you need to instill that if you took up a weapon, you can kill someone from it and must be aware of this. This is the safe handling of weapons. Now there are many irresponsible citizens who take up arms, not understanding what it is in general, because of this, all accidents occur.
Look how many illustrative examples can be seen in minor accidents. At the slightest scratch, the drivers snatch out "injuries" and start shooting in all directions, most often they will not even hit each other, causing harm to bystanders. Therefore, it is so necessary to lay this knowledge at the very beginning.
