Students engaged in freestyle wrestling, martial arts, boxing, kettlebell lifting. Also taught wushu, jiu-jitsu, aikido and dance Sport. And in 2012 we opened new specializations. For example, we launched kickboxing at the request of the regional kickboxing federation. She needed coaches to train, so we opened this direction to prepare staff for work. These guys are now in their third year. So, if there is a need for specialists, we open new specializations.

- When the guys become students, how does it go studying proccess? What subjects do they study?

The main subject is the methodology for teaching techniques of all sports, such as gymnastics, athletics, sports games, etc. Without exception, all students, of any faculty, study each of them, because physical education teachers and teachers must master the methodology of teaching any sport . We try to train each student so that he knows how to use the techniques correctly. In physical education classes at school, the teacher relies on the program. If it is necessary to show children the possession of the ball, for example in football or volleyball, he can easily do this. Sometimes our students come to schools and even train physical education teachers in various sports. And at all sporting events in the city, our students, as volunteers, participate in judging.

Scientific work and additional training

- How is it done scientific work students?

Under the new standards, our students will have to protect term papers. This year we had a whole event, dedicated to the protection projects on physical culture and sports. Participation was taken by students of the second and third courses, 18 people. We dedicated a whole day to this. Students presented work on organizing sports events and vocational guidance work, on the alteration of the premises of the technical school for competitions, etc.

- Do the guys have additional training?

This is called "improving sportsmanship in the chosen sport." Actually entrance tests, on which the applicant passes possession of any kind of sport, is the first step to improving his skills. And during the entire training, students go to training according to the schedule, gain experience. These hours are included in the study load. During this time, the guys achieve good results, many become candidates for the master of sports.

Practice and exams

- Do students practice at school?

The first practice is educational. Methodists introduce students to all the sports facilities of the city. It is designed for eight hours, in an introductory manner, students attend various sports events, visit sections. After the second year, the guys go through industrial practice at schools, teach physical education, get acquainted directly with the work. An agreement has been concluded with eight schools through the Ministry of Education. According to the new standards, there will now also be a third internship - pre-diploma, its students go to the place of distribution, where they are expected to work in the future. But in Lately we gradually begin to move to the fact that students themselves are looking for a place of practice. This is very inconvenient, because the employer does not know what kind of person will come to him, what kind of knowledge he has. - But as final exams pass?

Students defend a diploma, as well as defend professional competencies. What it is? Starting from the first year, the student maintains a portfolio, where he collects all his diplomas from competitions, Thanksgiving letters. This is the participation and organization of sports events, refereeing. Portfolio protection takes place before the commission, which decides whether the graduate is ready for independent pedagogical activity or not. State exams are taken in two stages - theory and practice. In theory - questions on pedagogy, physiology, anatomy, hygiene, etc. In practice, a ticket is drawn, which indicates the method of teaching any element from various kinds sports. For example, the sprint training technique or the top straight serve technique. The final grade is the sum of the scores for the two exams.
