How to develop an active life position. Life position

An active life position is the key to the success of an individual in any endeavor. And it arises due to the perception of a static world, if you see it, so to speak, "from the right angle", then you will not even notice how you will acquire an active life position, and in everything you will be pursued only by success, and no one will pay attention to failures will convert.

What is an active life position?

In order to better and more easily understand what an active life position of an individual is, we will give a simple life example. Elections have been held for the post of governor of your city, a completely new person has been elected, who has not held this post before. Within a month, you noticed that new horizontal bars, a sandbox, a swing were installed in your yard, everything is bright and serviceable. A few weeks later, you saw that the lawns on the streets were prettier, the trees along the road were mowed or chopped down, and a new kindergarten was opened near your house.

All this suggests that the governor justified hopes and expectations, he did and continues to do everything in his power for the city, spending money on a good cause. He still has a lot of interesting ideas in stock, so after six months a beautiful alley appeared in the overgrown city forest. He leads an active life improving his city. It is this constant inexhaustible supply of new ideas, the manifestation of knowledge of human mores and the ability to use one's power that speaks of an active life position.

How to become an active person

When submitting a resume, many people ask themselves the question: what does the employer mean by life activity, what do I need to write / answer? When you are asked if you have an active life position, this is simply a paraphrased question: "Will you give us ideas for business or live paycheck to paycheck?" Of course, few people will like the second option, so the formation of an active life position is very important.

In fact, just waking up in the morning and suddenly realizing that you have become active is impossible. An active life position is characterized by your actions, thoughts, ideas. People who definitely have an active life position correspond to its structural components:

  1. A normative-evaluative approach to one's own actions - a person does not do anything suddenly or at random, his actions are thought out and evaluated, the possible consequences are scrolled through his head more than once. If you learn to soberly and firmly evaluate your actions and draw up a plan for future work, you will never go wrong, and you will always keep yourself among the most respected and reliable colleagues or friends in the whole company;
  2. Motivational and Incentive Approach. A solid assessment and plan alone is not enough if you don’t want to do a particular job. There must be some kind of motivation for your actions, for example, you want to rise to the rank of head of a department, get a big salary and buy or build a house in the suburbs, as you always dreamed of, however, you should like the work itself, otherwise there will be no motivation for action;
  3. Practical-effective approach - this phase manifests itself already directly during work. You are not lazy to carry out assignments, offer something new for the project, know how to defend your opinion if someone doubts, but you are not an ardent fanatic and clearly assess your capabilities and task. The previous two points are also collected here, since without them all of the above is impossible to accomplish.

As a result of your work on yourself, you will become more responsible, cheerful in order to give ideas, resourceful and reliable among colleagues, you will be able to work in a team.

Most often, it is women who are concerned about developing an active life position in themselves, and for good reason, it is very important for the fair half, in order to maintain order in the family, keep themselves clean and beautiful, and in general, be happy without committing stupid acts. And a happy woman, as you know, cannot but please and be beautiful.

Everything that a person thinks about, thinks, does, represents his position in life. At first glance, it seems, what can be in common between the attitude to the world around and morality? It turns out that everything in this life is interconnected.

A life position helps us to overcome the difficulties of life, ups and downs. It is expressed in all areas of activity: labor, ethical, internal, social, political.

People begin to form a life position from the very birth. How the child will develop depends more on the close environment. These are parents, grandmothers, grandfathers, educators, teachers. At this stage, the foundation of life in the social sphere is being laid. A personality is formed from harmonious relationships in the family, school, at work.

What is the difference between life positions

The main secret of personal self-realization is an active life position. Courage, initiative - this is the little bit that forms to the intended goal. Such people often become leaders in a team and among friends. Passive individuals only follow them, although they have their own point of view, but do not want to defend it.

Specific features of an active life position

Negative
People with negative attitudes channel energy towards negative actions. They cause a lot of trouble to others. Their life credo is to impose their opinion on society, specific goals, which cause colossal harm, and not benefit. Often, such people are the leaders of gangster groups and formations.

Positive
High human morality, positive lifestyle, unacceptability to evil.

Passive people lead an inert lifestyle. They are indifferent to our reality. Pessimists never participate in the solution of difficult issues, the problems of society are bypassed. They never answer for their words, promising something, they often deceive. Human behavior reminds us of an ostrich with its head hidden. In their opinion, this is the most convenient way to protect yourself from unnecessary problems.

Passivity and negative life goals are practically identical concepts. Many different crimes and outbursts of injustice happen from inaction and unwillingness to help in difficult times.

Types of passive life position

  • Obedience;
  • Sheer inertia;
  • Destructive behavior;
  • Excitation.

A submissive person will go along the road “beaten” by someone until the end of his life. He strictly adheres to the rules, without thinking about their needs and compliance.

The last category of pessimists is no less serious for society. They throw out all their troubles, failures, anger on strangers, completely uninvolved in their problems, people. For example, a mother throws out a sea of negativity on her children, who has unsuccessfully married. Innocent creatures pay the price for negligent parents. There are a lot of similar examples.

The life position begins to form from early childhood and continues to strengthen or weaken during the continuation of the life cycle. Look at yourself from the outside, evaluate your actions. Perhaps you are doing something wrong. If the results are not impressive to you, then try to change yourself. You still have time for this!

Why are some people rich and lucky while others are poor and unhappy? We often ask ourselves this question. Like, he was lucky, he found his path, or the heir to rich parents, or a thief, whatever the pessimist says. But at the same time he himself does nothing to get even a small step closer to their success. We will talk about this and much more in the article.

What is the secret of happiness?

A life position is what affects our subconsciousness, thoughts, actions, perception of the world. The environment, behavior model, field of activity, sincerity will depend on it. From the first minute of communication with a person, it is clear what his position in life is and whether he has it at all.

In other words, this is the attitude of the individual to the world around him, which is reflected in his thoughts and actions. There are two main types:

  1. Passive life position.
  2. And active.

The first, also called conformist, is aimed at submission to external circumstances and the surrounding world. Such people, as a rule, are inert, do not show any interest in life. They do not improve themselves, do not make decisions in a difficult situation, it is easier for them to bypass the problem. They do not keep their word, they deceive.

The second contributes to the transformation of influencing factors on the individual and situations in his favor. Let's talk about it in more detail.

Features of an active life position

May be:

  • Negative.
  • And positive.

In the first case, people direct negative energy towards doing bad deeds. They deliberately harm others by imposing their opinions and goals on everyone, which do not benefit, but harm.

A positive life position is characterized by high morality and spirituality of a person. The individual leads a positive lifestyle, rejects evil. An active life position is a guideline that guides a person in the right direction, so that he works for the good of society, strives to benefit people throughout the entire journey.

Truly happy is the person who gives more than gets. It is important to understand that nothing is simply given in life, you need to work hard. And for this it is necessary to choose the right path in life, to think positively, not to waste time on unloved work, to develop.

When and how is it formed?

The foundation of a life position is laid in early childhood. And as the child grows up, its walls either strengthen or weaken. The construction of this framework will depend on the parents and the close environment in which the individual grew up. Namely: from heredity, upbringing, family traditions and other things.

But this does not mean that if a bad life experience was received, the person will not have any or passive life position, not at all, it can be deliberately changed, like character. So, let's get it clear: the formation of a life position begins from birth. Look at yourself from the outside, if you are not satisfied with life, rethink it, perhaps you are doing something wrong. Try to change yourself.

Let's talk about morality

A person's moral life positions characterize his inner spiritual baggage and are based on the values that guide him in life. Morally, the individual develops in the process of life in society, is expressed in the ability to consciously build relationships with people, oneself, society, and the state.

The formation of moral life positions, of course, will depend on many factors, such as the environment, personality, habits, upbringing, family traditions. To form them, you need to develop several qualities:

  • You must learn to live in harmony with yourself.
  • Build relationships with adults and peers.

A person's moral positions form a model of behavior that leads to the achievement of success and well-being.

How to decide on the best life position?

You need to analyze your life. Start with habits, redefine values and priorities. Change your thinking. Here are some examples of life positions:

  • Helping people. By helping, a person benefits not only others, but also himself, because he will be surely rewarded with a kind word, rewarded with a blessing. And this is the highest award.
  • Self improvement. Also, one of the best life positions will bring overwhelming success, lead to the achievement of the goal, and the result of work will be appreciated by others. Don't be idle, read books, articles, attend trainings, development courses, play sports, go to the theater and exhibitions. You need to constantly evolve.
  • Family and kids. If you have chosen this position in life, then you are wise and smart. After all, this is our main reassignment in life. Work hard, surround children with love and care, help them self-actualize, make family members happy. This is the highest achievement.

Only you yourself can decide on your best life position. The main thing is never to give up, to move forward, not to lose heart. Understand that worries, depression, fears, and bad moods will not correct the situation, but will only make it worse. Spread your wings, take off, dream and strive to achieve your goal.

How to do it?

So, let's figure out where to start in order to develop an active life position in ourselves:

  1. As stated above, learn to set goals. Do not set impossible tasks, the goal should be specific, realistically achievable and in a short time. It is better to take small steps towards a big dream.
  2. You need to get rid of bad habits. This is not only smoking and alcohol, this can include aimless pastime. Do not sit for hours playing computer games, on social networks, and so on. Spend your weekends profitably, visit museums and exhibitions.
  3. Read more useful information.
  4. Learn time management. Technology can help you organize your time and use it more efficiently.
  5. Don't shut yourself off from the outside world. Get to know him, open up to the new. Change your image, travel. Show interest in unknown arts, for example.
  6. Don't be afraid to take risks. Never doubt the realization of ideas. Don't stop halfway.
  7. Leave negative memories behind, learn from experiences, and don't look back in time.
  8. Surround yourself only with positive people, adopt their knowledge.

To change your life for the better, you need to act. You say, they say, it's easy to say. But again, to sit back, talk about unnecessary things, simply do nothing - no way out, nothing will happen. Start small, learn to think positively, and, slowly overcoming small obstacles, you will move towards your goal, dream.

And found out what the case in the person himself and his life position... So why do some people succeed, while others do not? In what secret of success? We are all looking for some kind of methodology that will help us cope with problems and achieve success in everything ... But the reasons for success or failure are not in the methodology, but in our head.

If we really want to “live life so that later it will not be excruciatingly painful for the aimlessly spent years” and are going to start a new life, then we need to first “change our heads”, or rather - life position generally. It is she who plays a decisive role in whether we will achieve success in life, and if more correctly, whether we will be happy and satisfied.

There are only two types of life position: active and passive. All successful and satisfied people have pro-active(or simply active) life position. Most of us have a life position reactive(or passive) - and it is in her that lies the cause of most of our misfortunes.

Life position- this is the base, the foundation of our personality and our attitude to life and to the world. Its primary formation occurs in childhood - under the influence of upbringing and in the image and likeness of parents, but it is within our power to change it at a conscious age. However, it is difficult and scary to rebuild the foundation on which the building has already been built, so few people decide to do this. Here you need to have serious motivation and be ready to overcome difficulties. To begin with, it is worth answering the question once again: “Do I want in fact to become a successful person and master of my life, or will I get by with what I have, but without changing anything or risking? "

Passive and active life position - what's the difference?

Reactive (passive) life position characterized, as the name implies, by the fact that the entire life of its owner - both external and internal, consists of reactions to external circumstances. There are different reactions, but the point is that they are just reactions to something that is beyond our control. Sometimes the circumstances suit us - and we rejoice and thank heaven. But more often they do not suit us - and then we either start to be indignant and swear, that is, we react negatively. This is how we live: we wait for the grace of heaven, we get upset because of its absence and endlessly justify our failures by a coincidence of insurmountable and unfavorable circumstances.

What are our plans usually? "I want ...!", "If ..., then ...", "When ..., then ..." We are hostages of these if and when, which do not depend on us... If we are “lucky”, of course, we will achieve what we want, but more often we are “unlucky” ... And what have we ourselves done in order to achieve what we want? "Wanting" and "setting a goal and going towards it" are very different things. And the difference is that the one who goes to the goal, acts, not just wants, and whining that something "does not work out for him", he just has no time. If it doesn't work out, he looks for his mistakes, corrects them and moves on.

Of course, a lot depends on the circumstances, but a person with active lifestyle only takes the circumstances into account, takes them into account, laying out his route. The source of his goal and the beginning of the path to it is in himself, and in the circumstances he sees opportunities for implementation their plans, developing an effective plan of their actions. If he found himself in a situation that does not suit him, he analyzes why he got into it (his mistakes) and thinks how to get out of it.

Many of our circumstances happened to us not by the will of evil fate, but because we need them for some reason. We unconsciously have chosen and they even us like... Even if it seems to us that it is not so. You may not like what is happening, but implicit bonus which we get along the way.

For example, we got stuck in a destructive relationship. It’s bad, but you can whine, hysteria, break down on loved ones, eat sweets, drink ... - who cares for what, and most importantly, you can not decide or do anything! For what can we do in such dire circumstances? This one comfort of inaction and irresponsibility we are often attracted, and so much so that we are sometimes ready to pay a very high price for it ...

But what about those misfortunes that certainly have nothing to do with our choice? Yes, circumstances can be very tough, and we do not always choose them. the surrounding reality for the most part does not depend on us at all. But there is also ourselves and our relationship with reality. A proactive person sees her soberly, and sets goals realistically achievable under the circumstances. And he treats these circumstances in a completely different way - as an opportunity, and not as a "punishment" or "evil fate." Remember the saying: "Who wants to do - is looking for a way, and who does not want - a reason"?

How to form an active life position?

The differences between an active and passive life position, as you can see, lie in the area of responsibility for oneself and one's life. A proactive person takes it upon himself, a reactive person strives to shift it onto someone or something all the time. This means that everything that needs to be done to form an active life position and abandon the passive one, in general terms, boils down to two points:

  1. Take responsibility for what is happening to us now and has happened before. Of course, only what really depended on us: our choices, decisions, feelings, thoughts, actions, reactions. We cannot be held responsible for the weather, traffic jams, behavior and condition of other people.
  2. To take responsibility for our future - again, in what we ourselves build from our lives.

Taking responsibility is the first step towards a proactive life position. However, taking this responsibility is not such an easy task for someone who, from childhood, is accustomed to avoiding it and grew up among such examples ... something that does not depend on him in any way and at the same time is not responsible for himself. I propose the following plan for changing a passive life position to an active one:

Algorithm for the formation of an active life position

  1. The first point is the most difficult: to find your responsibility for your life. It is too “obvious” that the government, ecology, boss, parents, husband / wife, housing issue, the time is such… What is our responsibility?- For example, in the fact that we did nothing, but simply floated with the flow, accepting what it carries. I have met people who, at the age of 50, justified their failure by the fact that their parents did not raise it like that! I would like to ask: “Where you"Was it the last 35 years after your parents raised you?" Moreover, after all, a person cannot do nothing at all, even absolute inaction is also our choice which has consequences. And we have always had and still have a choice.
  2. Recognize our responsibility for how we relate to our circumstances. If they cause us depression, resentment or some other kind, and we are absorbed in the experience of these emotions - then everything is clear, we like these circumstances! We admit this to ourselves honestly. To make it easier to confess, you can read the book by Eric Berne "Games People Play"- cleans the brain very well. Our reaction is also our choice, and we must try to admit it. People react to the same circumstances in different ways, so there is no need to say anymore that "I was driven" or "I could not do otherwise." And if at one time we had reacted differently in a hundred cases, then we would have now had completely different circumstances ... Let's think about it in colors. Do you feel how the consciousness of your freedom and the fact that everything depends on you inspires? A person is very uncomfortable with feeling like a victim, even if he has felt that way all his life.
  3. After we have managed to admit that we are the culprits of what is happening to us and what has happened, you should not waste your energy on scolding yourself with the last words and, again, falling into depression from your worthlessness. On the contrary, it is better to throw away all negative emotions, and self-pity - first of all. Tears of sorrow will not help. This habit is not easy to cope with, but it is possible. Moreover, one should not try to overcome this pity or anger in oneself - such emotions only grow from attention. The energy is better directed towards a more constructive question: "What to do now?" Now that we have realized our freedom to choose our response, we can look for positives and opportunities in circumstances. And now we are already thinking about the future.
  4. The next very important question: What do we want? Not "I would like to have a summer residence in the Maldives ...", but really - what? And taking into account the fact that this will have to be achieved through a series of efforts and making certain sacrifices? - It's just that nothing happens. Another feature of the reactive position is “to want us to have everything, but we had nothing for it”. It is due to this love of ours for "freebies" that tens and hundreds of thousands of fraudsters live, of whom there are now so many divorced. They offer an easy solution to all our problems - and thus solve theirs. And our problems are not solved - but we have a reason to be indignant at their dishonesty and feel sorry for the poor thing, who was "thrown" again ... But you must agree, if, for example, we have health (circumstances) and we want to become an Olympic champion, then we will have to get ready to the fact that years of grueling training await us - there is no other way. Why should it be different in other areas of life?
  5. Having defined the desires, we transform them into goals. Here another important question arises: "What are we ready to do and what to sacrifice to achieve our goals?" Are we willing to study and work extra to get rich, for example? In the circumstances in which we find ourselves, we have two ways: to work hard to create other circumstances, or to learn how to live and rejoice with those who have (for which we also have to work hard). Maybe we will choose the second path - the main thing is that this is our choice. And we no longer feel like a victim and have no moral right to whine. But we can think about what we can do in order to change something for the better - to improve or break off relations, for example. The main thing is to define goals. A successful person who builds his own life has a plan for this construction - nothing can be built without a plan.

It is, of course, unrealistic to describe in one article all the nuances of what distinguishes an active and passive life position and how to change one for another. But I hope that I was able to clarify this issue at least in general terms. The formation of an active position occurs exclusively in our head - through awareness and acceptance of responsibility. In principle, this is a one-time act, but deepening the position and restructuring habitual reactions will take some time.

Various books and even success trainings can help a lot. They all say essentially the same thing, but until we have assimilated this philosophy as "our own", we need repetition and clarification. And only after we gain a foothold in active life position having taken responsibility for your life and outlining your goals, you can start looking for specific methods that will help us achieve these goals more effectively, or create methods for yourself - that's who you like. I wish you success! Before new meetings!

Psychologists believe that the expertise in the Pussy Riot case discredits their profession. Open letter
13.08.2012

Psychological and linguistic expertise in the case of the punk group Pussy Riot became one of the central moments of the process. It is by reference to the text of the examination that the state prosecutor justifies the guilt of the defendants in committing acts stipulated by the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, it is on the conclusions of the experts that he is based in polemics with the defendants and their defenders.

Since the examination is of fundamental importance for the conclusions about the guilt or innocence of the defendants, we, professional psychologists, would like to express our opinion on its quality.

The examination was named psychological and linguistic, among the experts - Doctor of Psychological Sciences V.V. Abramenkova, and it is she who, judging by the preamble (p. 3), is the main author - she played a key role in preparing the answers to the first two questions and was the only expert who prepared the answer to the third (last) question. However, despite the stated objectives of the examination and the professional affiliation of one of the experts, the text of the examination does not contain elements of psychological analysis.

1 ... It is impossible to draw any definite conclusions about the motivation and direction of actions without analyzing the social context and previous activities of the punk group, and this was not done. Limiting the psychological analysis to a three-minute note provides equally likely opportunities for alternative assumptions about motives and direction.

2 ... "The combination of the sacred and the profane-base" can pursue directly opposite goals - both mockery and the demand to stop the ongoing mockery. Again, context analysis is needed, and again it is missing.

3 ... Assessment of movements as "depraved", "aggressive", etc. cannot be based only on the subjective opinion of an expert. There are methods for assessing the elements of non-verbal communication in psychology, but they have not been applied.

4 ... The assertion that the phrase "Mother of God, drive Putin away" is not an organic part of the text and was inserted there in order to give the case a political coloring, requires an analysis of the content of the song. The examination stated that content analysis was used, but a description of its results was not provided, and content analysis of a single short text cannot give definite results.

5 ... The results of psychosemantic analysis are not presented (or are absent altogether), which is also declared as one of the methods of psychological examination.

In general, the text is of a purely everyday character with a number of references to ancient church codes and dictionaries and cannot be considered a psychological or psychological-linguistic examination. And this despite the fact that the apparatus of modern psychological science provides certain opportunities for a professional answer to the questions posed to the experts. For example, one could carry out an empirical psychosemantic analysis and, not being limited to unfounded statements, determine the place of terms used by a punk group in the semantic field. It would be possible to analyze the text in the context of other texts similar in content and style, considering the reactions to them of people who are similar in socio-demographic characteristics and confessional affiliation to the group of victims. In-depth interviews, relevant socio-psychological experiments, and more could be done. The authors of the examination did nothing!

We are forced to admit that the mention of psychology in the title of the examination is completely unfounded and discredits our profession.
