Performances can often be seen on the stage of the Russian Drama Theater in Ulan-Ude.

The poster of the Baikal Theater includes theatrical concerts, solo and anniversary evenings of artists, dance shows, and orchestra performances. Buryat theater "Baikal" with a dance-mix enchantingly won the title of the best dance group in the country on the project "Russia 1" "Everybody dance!"

Today, May 7, on the TV channel "Russia 1" the final of the show "Everybody Dance!", Which brought together the best dance groups from all over the country, took place. Out of 11 contestants, only 6 reached the end - multiple champions of Europe and the world in ballroom dancing Formation "Vera" (Tyumen), the famous experimental dance group from Krasnoyarsk "Evolvers", young dancers (some are still in high school) "The First Crew" from Belgorod, the Moscow break-team Predatorz Crew, the Sevastopol Ballet of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet and the State Theater of Song and Dance "Baikal" from Buryatia.

"Baikal" confidently reached the final, the only one on the show that has never been nominated for a knockout. In the previous issue, "Baikal" set a record, having received the maximum possible points. Buryat artists have already danced vogue, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, waltz, Chinese dance with fans - in general, they tried directions unusual for themselves. Even the host Olga Shelest, representing "Baikal", recalled: "The team amazed the whole country, changing styles."

We are happy that we made it to the final, - Artistic Director Zhargal Zhalsanov shared his emotions before the performance. - I knew that the team had potential, but it is one thing to know and feel, and quite another to see the jury's assessments.

The dancers themselves admitted that they will return to their native Buryatia as “heroes” and “winners”, regardless of the results.

For the decisive battle, the "Baikal" theater presented an unusual composition in which it performed various styles to ethnic music - elements of break, samba, ballet support and even yokhor.

“It was an extravaganza,” the presenter Olga Shelest summed up.

In the final, judges of the project Yegor Druzhinin, Alla Sigalova and Vladimir Derevyanko did not give marks. Their task was to choose the three best teams, from which the audience in the hall would determine the winner. After the performance of "Baikal" the jury again highly appreciated the level of the performers' skill.

I am in love with each of you. You have always shown a miracle, you are already a winner. I love you very much, - the choreographer, actress, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alla Sigalova enthusiastically responded.

Choreographer Yegor Druzhinin made the audience jittery when he began his speech with the words - “Taking numbers from different styles for the final performance is very dangerous, you can get a vinaigrette. We need a special artistic style and high performing skills. " Druzhinin paused and continued, making it clear that the Baikal Theater succeeded in all of this: “And this proves that we have potential winners before us!”

Vladimir Derevyanko admitted that in the final the Buryat dancers surprised him again. "You are one of the few ensembles to exhibit a wide variety of styles, including neoclassical."

Theater "Baikal" received a special prize from the social network "Vkontakte" as a participant in the show who received the largest number of likes, reposts and comments. Before the final, a vote was launched, in which 75% of the votes as the most likely winner was received by the Buryat team.

As a result, after a short meeting, the judges named the three best teams. Curiously, they all came from Siberia. These are the Tyumen formation "Vera", "Evolvers" from Krasnoyarsk and, of course, the favorites of judges and spectators - the "Baikal" theater.

The winner was chosen by the audience in the hall. Great excitement was read on the faces of the Baikal artists, and when it was announced that they had won the show (gaining 35% of the votes), the dancers screamed with joy. They were solemnly presented with the "Everybody dance!" and a certificate for a million rubles.

Your city is proud of you, all of Russia is proud. You have proved that you are real artists who are subject to any style, genre and direction. You are great fellows, - the presenters addressed to "Baikal".

The theater artists thanked for the victory with breaking voices.

Come to our Baikal, - they invited all the spectators.

We will definitely come, - the hosts answered happily.

Note that the TV show was broadcast live on the big screen on the Sovetov Square in Ulan-Ude. There was also a concert program with the participation of the orchestra of the "Baikal" theater, soloists and stars of the Buryat stage.

Next week, the winners of the TV show are scheduled to have a press conference in Ulan-Ude, where they will share their emotions and plans on where to spend the won million.

Read from this article:

The Buryat National Song and Dance Theater "Baikal" is the keeper of the culture and traditions of the Buryat-Mongolian nation, which were formed under the influence of Buddhism and shamanism.

The collective included ballet dancers, soloists-vocalists, an orchestra of folk instruments of Buryatia. Over the 75 years of the theater's existence, not a single fan of their creative activity has ceased to admire the talent of the artists, moreover, the army of fans is growing every day.

Among the troupe there are artists who have been awarded titles and high awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Buryatia... The repertoire includes numbers for concerts, songs and dances, as well as large-format projects, for example, ethno-ballet and ethno-opera, performances based on the myths of the Mongolian people.

In addition, the theater organizes charitable children's New Year's Trees for orphans, disabled children in difficult life situations, helps young performers to develop their potential.

Every fan of the "Baikal" theater can count on a new portion of the rhythms of nature and life, solemn acts, the shaman's ritual, the dance of the hunter, birds and animals at the concert. All performances are accompanied by a live authentic song that cannot be deciphered using traditional notes.

All participants of the theater take great care of the performance of the repertoire, and therefore, watching their performances is incredibly interesting and exciting. The theater takes an active part in festivals, competitions, receives high awards. But the participants of "Baikal" admit that only the love of the audience is more precious to them than all the awards.

Among the theater's awards, it is worth noting the first prize of the International Festival entitled "Fashion of the Mongols of the World" in 2005, a year later the highest award at the International Festival "Altargana -2006" in Ulan-Ude, "Golden Heart" in 2006, the prize of the Government of Russia in the sphere of culture and art. Not a single participation in competitions takes place without the well-deserved highest award "Baikal".

The solo program of the theater "Baikal" is worthy of a performance in the Kremlin, because this is the opinion of the Minister of Culture of Russia A. Avdeev. Participation in the show "Everybody Dances" will help the theater to open up for the viewer from another new side and discover special facets and opportunities.

The first season of the "Everybody Dance" project has ended. Bright performances, the best teams, professional judges: perhaps this is one of the few dance projects in the history of Russian television that so successfully combined such a diverse palette of styles. Throughout the show, each of the eleven ensembles tried to prove themselves in different genres, but only six ensembles made it to the finals.

The television project has become a difficult test not only for dancers, but also for choreographers. If the collectives needed to master rumba in the shortest possible time, or, for example, to learn how to climb, like circus performers, under a canopy on a cable, then their leaders had to cope with both new styles and the special specifics of television, which implies entertainment and fast picture switching ...

Unlike "Dancing with the Stars", where the channel's multi-million audience was involved in the voting, in the final "Everybody Dance" everything was decided by the results of the audience voting in the hall. The judges only had to choose the top three. There was no doubt that Vera from Tyumen would be among the favorites: it was no coincidence that the team opened the first and last issue of the project.

In the final "Vera" decided to abandon the lyrical mood, which is so well revealed, for example, in their show "Eternal Love", and preferred a dynamic and high-speed tango. "The final number" is an attempt to give the last energy that remained, an attempt to express all the passion that was not expressed, perhaps, for the previous numbers ", - said one of the members of the ensemble Alexei Plaksin, who throughout the project was a kind of voice of the team ...

The amazing synchronicity and spectacular rearrangements for which the collective is famous were duly noted by the audience and the jury. However, "Vera" somewhat complicated its task by the fact that it performed the European program in Latin American shoes, and not on the parquet, but on red moving canvases. This number allowed the team to once again enter the top three ensembles of the project.

But the Tyumen "Vera" had a very strong competitor in the project - the Buryat ensemble "Baikal", which during all the programs never got into the nomination. In the final performance "Baikal" demonstrated a mix of various styles, including ballroom dance and neoclassicism.

Evgeny Papunaishvili noted that the piece of samba that the dancers included in their performance was quite difficult in terms of choreography. Indeed, as part of their show, the dancers performed not only basic steps, but also pivots, zigzags, arm spins and support. The successful combination of styles won the sympathy of the audience and helped "Baikal" rise to the top line of the podium.

The results of the project can be expressed by the bottom line of the audience vote. With a result of 35 percent of sympathies, Baikal won, 33 percent was won by Vera from Tyumen and 32 Evolvers from Krasnoyarsk. Summing up the results of the show, the Vera team members noted that street hip-hop turned out to be the most difficult dance style for them (probably, as the style that is the most distant from the aesthetics of ballroom dance), and the most fascinating vogue, which is very close to the fashion industry. Testing with other types of dance always makes the dancers stronger and the creative search for the team has undoubtedly been crowned with success. And we, in turn, will wait for new victories and show performances of "Vera" in the secular and sports arenas!

In one of the pavilions of Mosfilm, the shooting of the final stage of the television competition "Everybody Dance" took place. The Republic of Buryatia, we recall, was represented by the Buryat national theater of song and dance "Baikal". There were a large number of fans, three full stands. Filming lasted five hours.

Among the fans were the deputies of the State Duma of Russia from Buryatia Aldar Damdinov, Nikolai Buduev, Senator of the Federation Council from Buryatia Tatyana Mantatova.

Theater "Baikal" was the fourth in a row. Our artists performed a dance number with a national flavor. But demonstrating the elements of the styles that they learned on the project: vogue, hip-hop, ballet.

For example, Anastasia and Daba Dashinorboev showed tremendous support, Yulia Zomoeva danced on pointe shoes, Chingis Tsybikzhapov, Valentina Yundunova and Aryuna Tsydypova danced vogue, Fedor Kondakov and Yekaterina Osodoeva samba, Donara Baldantseren and Aleksey Radnaevich acted as a soloist.

After the performance, the audience rose together and shouted "Bravo!"

“I am in love with each of you,” said Alla Sigalova, a member of the jury.

The jury did not give marks in the final. Each of the judges selected one finalist. Alla Sigalova chose the Baikal theater, Vladimir Derevyanko - the Vera formation, Yegor Druzhinin chose Evolvers.

Glee, shouts of "hurray!" echoed outside the pavilion. The organizers rolled out onto the stage a large cake with the project's logo. Everyone congratulated the dancers of the Baikal Theater on the victory, festive fireworks thundered and a huge certificate worth 1 million rubles was presented to the winner.

Of course, the theater "Baikal" deservedly won, we managed to fall in love with the guys, and they worked hard on our project!

Residents of Buryatia watched all this action on TV screens at home. The most active fans came to watch the final right on the Sovetov Square. On the occasion of the finale, a large screen was installed there.

Buryat artists and politicians spoke with words of support. Dozens, hundreds of townspeople rejoiced when the winner was announced.

This is such pride for our theater, for our republic! I want to cry with happiness! Thank you, "Baikal!", - said the spectator Elena.
